Older hotel with nice public spaces; my room, a single, had a partial renovation with an ancient, dated bathroom. Biggest problem though was non working air conditioner. Staff were great it's just the rooms need a lot of work.

The proximity to the train station - just across the street is easy, as is is catching the Euro bus which leaves from the train station (centrale) as do all the busses into the lovely center of the city.
Cons (-) Wish they had a bit more in the way of food at the bar, no restaurant. When you tired from jet lag or early mornings it would be easier and more pleasant to eat a fresh salad for example and sit in the garden with a glass of prosecco - which they do have!
