9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice rooms and great pool - extremely friendly and helpful hosts.
Cons: Wifi did not work. The road to the accomodation was really bumpy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jean-Claude and Nathalie are very welcoming people, providing tons of advises based on what you are looking for and current and forecasted weather (beaches, hiking, restaurants, delicatessen...) The rooms are extremely clean, well decorated and very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and area quiet, allowing a peaceful rest and sleep. The pool is very nice and clean. The breakfast is very good with croissants, bread, local jams, omelets, fruits, yaourt... complete, healthy and delicious. Warmly recommended!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Silent place. Close to wild beach. Fantastic breakfast. Mindful and warm owners.
Cons: Difficult to find. GPS losing clue where to go.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners very kind and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel owners were exceedingly kind and helpful. They arranged transportation for me and were able to make some very good recommendations. I’d definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing. It exceeded my expectations. The breakfast out on the pool terrace was very good and the setting very peaceful and serene. This is a quiet and romantic refuge.
4.5 Okay
Pros: It is rather clean. The bed is OK.
Cons: It is a motel in the middle of nowhere. The hosts are fake. They pretend to be nice but they are not. Don’t even think about the breakfast. Never say yes if they offer you omelette. It’s greasy and oily. I have the feeling they send you to the restaurants where they receive the commission. The previous reviews are not real. I really don’t know how they received the exceptional rating for this type of the accommodation. On top of that, they start cleaning a table in your terrace at 6h in the morning and it feels like they are in your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location isolated and quiet in the middle of an olive grove.it was immaculately clean and the owners were brilliant. We will definitely return for longer next time .
Cons: We loved it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great quite place, with a wonderful breakfast, just new rooms with top service

Pros: This hotel is in a wonderful position with spectacular views. Considering the location, the hotel car park was of a great advantage. The staff could not do enough to please, especially in carrying our luggage to and from the car. Dinner around the pool was beautiful and romantic!
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s gorgeous. The staff is wonderful. The location is perfect.
Cons: It rained! Ah well. We would have loved to use the pool and our beautiful balcony because it is just as the pictures depict. Heaven on the edge of the world.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. Very tasteful decor. Our room was well-organized and comfortable. The staff was warm, helpful, and professional.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent particularly at breakfast. Location was great with spectacular views and best pool area we have had in a long while.
Cons: Lack of choice in the restaurant for those of us who do not eat red meat so only ate 1 ngt. We had a suite which was directly over reception so quite noisey at times. Large terrace but no cushions for loungers or chairs
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was exceptional, location unique
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view from our room (view on the port)!!! Relax swimming pool and very good cocktails. The staff was very pleasant and the location was perfect, just close to the old town and the port. In addition, the private parking was very convenient. This is really the place to go when you go to Bonifacio!!
Cons: The restaurant is quite expensive (value for the money) and the breakfast could be improved (the buffet is not enough diversified with regards to the price paid. But good overall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location and the view of the harbour and old town is amazing. Our bedroom had its own decked terrace from which we were able to enjoy the view.

Pros: The property is lovely, a bit of a minute to find but great location for relaxing and close to Bonifacio. Nice private beach a few mins walk and a pool on site. Deliciousness delivered every morning with croissants, baguettes, muffins and brioche bread. Jacque is an excellent host. 30 mins from Figari airport.
Cons: Not necessarily the property, but do Keep in mind the time of your arrival and prepare to have snacks if you arrive in the afternoon as many nearby restaurants were closed until 6:30 or 7 pm.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great facilities and very good fine dinning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic layout and very functional. Great breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff made for a comfortable stay.
Cons: Found a clump of hair in the bath when we first arrived & the floor didn’t feel clean (in bare feet), otherwise the room was up to standard cleanliness wise.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with amazing gardens and great service Breakfast was great Really good pool and bar for relaxing at the end of the day Very friendly staff who went beyond to make the stay as enjoyable as possible Room much larger than expected and it looks a lot better than the photos
Cons: Location is a little away from the beach and town but it is so nice you could very easily spend a lot of time at the hotel and pool and eat all meals there Food costs are not cheap but are in line with the quality and standard of the hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: Very kind staff, excellent check in, room looks beautiful, nice garden... Location is great, not far from city center. Room pictures fully present reality.
Cons: All looks perfect when you arrive, but... Bathroom concept is the worst one I have ever used. Shower is literally open so water is always all around. TV is so small, luckily we had mostly good weather. Place is very noisy, staff are enjoying over there more than guests. Behind the rooms is accommodation for hotel staff, vegetable garden, kind of a farm, it’s never quiet. Nice place but not managed well and overpriced. For 300 euros per night in 4*hotel my expectations are high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, close to Bonifacio and nearby beaches. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and catered to all needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is one of the most charming I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. The property is whimsical and delightful. The staff are so helpful. And the room was just perfect -- every little thing was thought of, including a beach bag and towels for the beach!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms around the garden were in charming locations
Cons: The food was not as good as the price indicated it should be.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel has beautiful gardens. The rooms and bathrooms are large and the outdoor pool/jacuzzi are very pleasant and both well-heated (note: you have to remember to collect swimming towels from reception). The self-serve breakfast is good, if expensive. The (expensive) dinner was rated ordinary to good to excellent by the 7 people in our group.
Cons: The younger staff could not have been more helpful, the older ones less so. One of our group handed in their keys at the front desk before we went out to dinner and the main reception was locked up when we got back and the phone not answering, so they had to break in to their room through the bathroom window. Gardens are very pretty, but there are lots of mosquitoes as a result and no bug killers anywhere. Our bathroom was rather over the top modern, while the separate loo was in a dark side room and ancient. There was only one bedside light, no sockets near the beds and although there is tea/coffee in the room the supplies are all out of date. You cannot have continental breakfast in the dining room because there is only one person on duty, so its the €23 full self-service meal or continental in your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the food both in the evening and at breakfast was of an extremely high quality - all sourced from local produce
Cons: n/a
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the staff, the services, the garden, the rooms. A place where you can relax and slow down the pace.
Cons: the swimming pool and the hot-tube are in fact closed after 19:00. They close them because they serve dinner near the place where the swimming pool is. So you can' t use the hot tube in the evening when is colder outside.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel is just awesome. You can see the old town of Bonifacio from afar and also enjoy the coziness of the mohntain. The reception is very considerate. They gave us a bottle of Corsican wine for our honeymoon. It just takes you 3 minutes to drive to the port and start your journey. The hotel has a range rover to take you to and pick you up from the port if you don't want to drive your car. The recommendations of restaurants from Johanna is really helpful :)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location with great views overlooking Bonifacio. Great staff, good food. Lovely suites.
Cons: A bit of a distance from Bonifacio. It’s either a car in or get the hotel to drive you down
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic view of the citadelle. Great pool and very peaceful environment. Breakfast and service were both top notch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view of old town.
Cons: No comment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING. This was absolutely fabulous. It is a paradise. The room was a dream, the views, extraordinary, the common areas fantastic, dinner delicious. And the breakfast ranks among the best I ever had at a hotel in my life (and we are foodies that travel A LOT).
Cons: Nothing at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The choice was amazing and the quality superb!
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were not massive but beautifully designed. We had a view of the citadel with a bed looking straight out at it. It had tea and coffee making facilities that were refreshed every day. The staff brought us fresh milk everyday on request. The breakfast was superb, served in the restaurant with the lovely view. The rooms were very well cleaned and maintained every day. The hotel is situated up a mountain with a very steep road. Ok for a short walk down to the marina and citadel every day and the hotel collected us for free in the hotel car every evening. Anything over 5/7 days you will need to hire a car for exploring. This was a small private hotel with a very exclusive feel. Wonderful.
Cons: Unfortunately the mattress had been turned 90 degrees so it was not fitting the bed properly which made for 5 nights of very uncomfortable sleep before we noticed and turned it back.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Gym too small
6.8 Good
Pros: Styling! Breakfast was acceptable. Food from menu really good. Rooms very nice and comfy beds too. And view from hotel stunning.
Cons: Shower pressure was not strong. Also we did not like the kids running around as a childless couple we were expecting a design hotel for adults only, a pity. During breakfast kids jumping in pool and running, screaming around. For an almost 700 euro per night it was a bit of a shame. No we like the design but are not going back. Also the last noght we could not enjoy in house dining, restaurant was full with guests from outside. Onacceptable. No spa facilities.
Hotel Cala di Greco - Bonifacio - Bedroom
6
9.4 Excellent (212 reviews)

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nice pool
Cons: Room was supposed to be a junior suite, was just a normal room, description clearly says all rooms have a sofa, Not true. To say sorry they offered a free breakfast on day of check out, after breakfast had finished.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Difficult to get to but worth the effort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic boutique hotel, excellent location, incredible views from the property over old town Bonifacio and the harbor. Rooms are amazing with private decks. Infinity pool looking out over Bonifacio is killer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pools were amazing, with amazing views of the port of Bonifacio. There are two swimming pools and both tranquil. The room and balcony were both big, and incredible views of ocean from balcony. Liked how private the room was, the breakfast has a good choice of many things to eat and is very tasty. Location is good if you have a car as it is only 10 minutes to the town, but it feels very tranquil and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful, helping us to order taxis and reserve restaurants.
Cons: Considering the high price of the rooms we were disappointed to find that breakfast is additional 15 Euro each per day, this is rather a lot for breakfast. The size of the bathroom is small, only one small basin and this is not great for a couple sharing. We did not have an iron in the room so we asked for this but it did not work and there is only one iron in the whole hotel. There are no additional facilities like gym and spa which would make this hotel more special. The pool bar shuts st 9pm and therefore you cannot enjoy drinks by the pool after this time; also limited options for snacks with a drink, and the minibar in the rooms do not have wine. There was no complimentary water in the room which is standard for hotels and if you pay this price you would expect some bottles of water at least.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Architecture of the hotel, staff and the hotel owner were extremely friendly and helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: There were a lot of bees at breakfast
6.3 Good
Pros: Serene venue -- beautiful views. Stunning pool area.
Cons: No dining on premises except breakfast. Involves somewhat dangerous ride to nearby town. Must have car. Late room cleanup. No hair conditioner -- staff had to look under reception desk for some. Fairly isolated. No gym, little staff contact.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was beautifully situated. Several beautiful pools. The staff was wonderful.
Cons: When I booked the hotel I thought it was closer to town. When I arrived, I thought that it had a restaurant. It did not. At breakfast the next day was very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view is stunning. The property overlooks the town of Bonifacio and the marina. The staff is delightful. We went for my sister's birthday and the chef prepared a homemade cake for her when we arrived at breakfast. This is a special and wonderful place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful settings for this hotel near Bonifacio with view of the city Rooms have modern finishes
Cons: Not the most commercial owner. We booked two rooms for 5 and 4 nights and they refused to cancel free of charge one night despite making the cancellation 2 months before the date.
Les Chambres de Casarina - Bonifacio - Building

9.2 Excellent (439 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Les Chambres de Casarina in Bonifacio, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 10-minute drive of Bonifacio Port and Plage de Sant'Amanza. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are helpful and friendly. The location is great, walking distant to the Maoro beach and 10 mins driving to the city center, so it is very quite. My family enjoy the stay very much, thank you.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a small ‘village’ of accommodations set in a landscaped area of land a few hundred meters from the coast at Maura beach. It’s easy to drive to bonifacio (10 mins) and Gulia beach (30 mins) but a car is a must have. The accommodation is set on slopes, affording views to the sea and a panorama inland too. The units surround a pool and we had a room for 2 adults/1 child. It had a balcony for enjoying breakfast and sundowns. The pool is lovely and warm, it is not over chlorinated so a joy to swim in. The beach is not the best - although not unpleasant. It’s also expensive for food and beds. I would recommend the short drive to Gulia beach as it’s far far better in all aspects (there are many others nearby too- spoiled for choice). The room is small but stylish and comfortable. Compact & bijou. Very clean. There are coffee making facilities and a small ‘bar’ sized fridge. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Cons: Nothing. I’ll say if you have a lot of stuff to unpack, storage and space in the room generally is limited. The breakfast is nice but expensive and we are not big breakfast eaters, so had one between 3, as there were enough bits and pieces in there for us all to have something we liked. None of this detracted for me from a very very enjoyable stay. The staff could not be more helpful they were absolutely fantastic with advice and bookings etc. I would recommend.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - very clean - calm location, still close to Bonifacio
Cons: - TV wasn’t working well (yes, we had bad weather)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. The location is lovely, and the pool very nice to have for a refreshing swim. Very nice to have the breakfast brought to you in the room but could still walk down to the beach for 9 am to have breakfast at the beaach bar there.
Cons: No cupboards or wardrobes for clothes, just a few hooks, which was a bit inconvenient for the length of stay, we had to ask for some hangers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! After some disappointing previous accomodation, this place was exactly what we were looking for! Wished we could have stayed a week! So beautiful, very modern and immaculate. Fantastic pool n close to a lovely beach with a couple of good bars n pizza. Perfect!
Cons: A little tricky if you arrive late n have no food as the bars close around 6 n nothing handy to get a quick meal or supermarket
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, Heated swimming pool closing at 21pm, room beautifully decorated and comfortable, very nice area for families.
Cons: A small detail : only two pods coffee with the coffee machine, no milk, no tea. It would have been appreciated to have at least two coffee pods per person and per stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is really great, walking distance to a beautiful beach. The breakfast served in the room is very practical and the staff made their best to meet our expectations.
Cons: I’ve never experienced an internet connection that was that bad. There were days that we couldn’t even watch Netflix. The room was smaller than it looks in the pictures, we had to leave the luggage at the balcony. Although practical, EUR 24 for the breakfast we’ve received seemed a bit pricy even for Córsica standards. The staff couldn’t even try to help us with a reservation in a restaurant: I was expecting a bit more for almost EUR 400,00 of daily rate. Take your beach towels: even those are rented and charged separately in the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Balcony, good size room, grounds and nice pool
Cons: Don't get the breakfast little food for lots of money- poor value!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room, balcony, quiet, excellent pool
Cons: Poor breakfast for a lot of money!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to take a rest on your journey. Quiet and amicable. Very convenient to reach Bonifaziu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an oasis in southern Corsica, set back from yet very close to the beautiful port of Bonifacio and within short driving distance of beautiful beaches. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, the owners are so nice and accommodating, and the breakfast on the private terrace is a nice touch each morning. For time away, this place is perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with great facilities and most friendly team. We loved that the breakfast is served in the privacy of your own terrace.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very elegant and stylish
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Surrounded by a small mediterranean forest, very nice room and perfect service from the manager. Staff always glad to see you knock on their door, sorted things out to answer to our particular needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Looking out onto the olive trees from the bed and breakfast on the terrace
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the owners were very helpful and hospitable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful B & B. Quiet and located on a big piece of property. The pool was lovely and although because of the weather, too cold to swim on our visit, there were nice loungers to sit and relax on. Our room was spacious with a very nice bathroom and walk in shower. I loved the big patio that was just for us and we brought back wine, cheese and bread for dinner and sat and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Our host was pleasant and seemed to know when we wanted our breakfast. We just went downstairs to the breakfast room and he was there! He brought up a tray of coffee, croissants and fresh baked goods, yogurt, jam and a really delicious fruit salad and we could sit and eat it on our patio, which was a nice touch. It's a short 5 minute drive into town. Would recommend this for a romantic stay.
Cons: You really had to make sure you knew where this place was as the signage is not good. It is also on a really windy road, and luckily we didn't run into a car on the way up as there is no room for two vehicles. But once we got used to it, it was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked: the private terrace with no vis-a-vis, wonderful comfortable lounge chairs, flowers and olive trees omnipresent and the figs beginning to appear...and the silence; the copious breakfasts which were emended after a day to reflect our previous choices so that there was no food waste; a frig in the room to keep the wine and water cold, and glasses/openers supplied; a fine comfortable bed and lashes of hot water in a capacious wetroom shower.... and even a laundry line outside! In a word, setting and staff were wonderful. The swimming pool looked fabulous, but we didn`t use it.
Cons: At first, the access was a bit off-putting, as the road up the the property is narrow, steep, and not lit at night... but we got used to it almost immediately. There does not seem to be any public transportation on the main highway, but as we had a car, we didn`t bother to ask. It was rather difficult to locate a good news station on the TV but the wifi was fine.

Pros: It was a fantastic experience ! The hotel is very well located in front of the port in Bonifacio and we had a great view from our large room of 70 square metres. We watched the fire works in celebration of the City while having a lovely dinner in the Hotel. The SPA is also very good and I recommend the massage. The service was excellent and they have a private parking and a sister hotel with a beautiful swimming pool in the top of the old city. It is must !
Cons: I like everything !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property - staff - place - parking - good side of the port - well placed

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Air-condition worked well. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great shower and automatic sunroof. Private parking area was great.
Cons: The price seemed steep. Especially considering the breakfast was not included. I did stay in the peak holiday season though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite I had was outstanding, huge and very comfortable right in the harbor of Bonifacio. I was travelling out of season so very quiet as well. I felt well pampered.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. I was travelling back end of season so there was no possibility to eat in hotel itself. That did not matter as restaurants just around the corner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, beautiful room, great location
Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect - luxury apartment with everything you need. Massage wonderful in spa too.

Comfortable pool area and great family restaurant with fabulous traditional meals (in the morning you can book a table and choose dishes for dinner). Very beautiful garden, lovely room with it’s own cosy terrace, where you can sit in the evening with glass of delicious local wine after the long hot day.....Deep relaxation.... Wonderful service, staff is really welcoming, helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.
Cons: Limited check-in time from 17 to 19 is not very convenient - it is sometimes difficult to accurately calculate the time if you travel around the island by car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Valentina spoke excellent English and was so very helpful as were all the staff. The gardens and pool area were very pretty. The restaurant area is lovely, a contemporary and intimate space. We booked half board and although each night was set menu arrangements could be made if you disliked any ingredient. The menu was varied and used local produce.
Cons: A few more recliners around the pool would have been nice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great peace full location with helpful and friendly staff. Excellent for Bonafacio which is excellent for restaurants, small supermarkets, site seeing. We used poisson rouge as a base for travelling the south of corsica. Hire car essential. More than happy and would recommend to family and friends
Cons: On first visit a little difficult to find as quite remote, after first locating it was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nicely decorated with a great shower. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept with a swimming pool and lovely seating areas. Parking on site is free and easy. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of home made breads and jams and an extensive choice of tea's.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the setting and garden. Also breakfast and dinner with natural ingredients.
Cons: The mattress on the bed was not comfortable. No shampoo or shower gel. No breakfast tea in bedroom (do not cater to English visitors)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Refreshingly relaxing area, great pool and the most beautiful garden. Amazing food!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and peaceful, great rooms and the evening meal was well prepared
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Poisson Rouge is perfectly located to explore the Bonifacio area whilst being isolated enough to enjoy the tranquil setting. We loved the nearby beaches - particularly the more quiet sant manza. We opted for half board and loved the home cooked delicious dinners. Valentina’s father is a fisherman and we enjoyed some excellent fish and seafood whilst we were there. The prawns especially were superb!
Cons: There isn’t much not to like. My only comment would be that there could have been more sunbeds around the pool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, lovely breakfast and dinner. The owner, Valentina, is also the chef and does a fantastic job. Pool looks great but we did not use it as weather was not warm enough.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s too special a place to let the secret out. If you come here you will find the magic yourself. The hotel staff are all first rate and good human beings. Smart and engaging. Nothing here is ordinary, including the service.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff at the restaurants and bars was pleasant.
Cons: Room service options were limited to beverages only.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is exceptional. The staff were cheerful and very helpful. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The sea was magical. Couldn’t be happier.
7.5 Good

Cons: A bit overpriced and the pillows were not soft.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautifully located, very confortable, helpful staff. Used the spa where I had two goodassages.
Cons: The breakfast was excellent other meals either lunch or dinner were not so good. The bar at the beach, where one could have lunch, quite frankly was not up to the standard of the hotel, unimaginative and badly executed. Dinner varied, but the food tried to be too sophisticated, rather than good Italian/ French cooking. Since there are only two other possibilities to eat out, one which closed at the end of August the other a uncovered terrace, so if the weather wasn't too good not an option. Given the above, I think the hotel should improve their dinning options.

Cons: Tv screen are too small Jacuzzi temperature not sufficient
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Too much emphasis on arty, crafty furniture and not enough on function e.g basin in bathroom looked nice, large rectangular and shallow, but resulted in considerable splashing when tap was run. Main light in room was scary. No other word for it.
6.3 Good
Pros: The swimming pool
Cons: The price. A taxi was booked on our behalf to take us into town to catch the ferry to Sardinia and didn't show up. We were forced to hitch hiike, with all our luggage
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Quiet, clean,nice pool
Cons: Hard to find...one lane road to property...good luck if someone is coming in the opposite direction. Bed is very low and difficult for an older person to get out of. ....No clean towels on 2nd day...

Pros: Room near the Marina of Bonifacio (10min drive) with swimming pool and parking available on site.
Cons: The road towards the property is quite narrow. Compared to the other rooms we rent for our stay in Corsica, this room was quite overpriced...

Pros: secure property sparkling clean room well-equipped room heated pool super friendly & accommodating host (Caroline)
Cons: coffee
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and great location, in a compound-like residence. Differentiates from a corporate hotel and more like being a guest on someone's property. Friendly cats in the compound. The bathroom was modern and the aircon was helpful. Nice amenities in the room. Great view on the mountains from the compound.
Cons: The window timing for breakfast is not very flexible and the bed could do with extra pillows.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The whole set up was very well thought through. Hi spec in the bedrooms very good air con which you really needed! Nice pool area.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Boutique style B&B with heated pool. Approx 5km from town and you definitely need a car!! We had a hire car but needed to return it Friday as the office was closed Saturday. We assumed that we would easily get a taxi to return us to B&B after the drop off .... but no!!! There was no taxis available on any of the numbers we contacted and my phone was about to die !!! Caroline did her best but no taxi available. We literally jumped in front of a passing taxi and explained our dilemma (as best we could given the language barrier). It is imperative that you speak a modicum of French or have access to Google Translate. Breakfast was lovely and very fresh. Thank you Caroline for all your help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Caroline is an excellent host, great location for all the beautiful surrounding beaches and close to the center of Bonifacio. Good and modern facilities. Very good room cleaning. The only weakness is breakfast.

Pros: This is like a mini home. We had breakfast on site, after having done some grocery shopping. We could wash our clothes and hang them to dry. It was really quiet at night. With 2 rooms, we could split the costs. Helping minded staff. Nice restaurant within 5 minutes by car. Easy to get to Bonifacio (a 10 min drive) Clear directions to get to the property.
Cons: Pretty humid. Heater not very efficient in bathrooms.
7.0 Good
Pros: Poll and garden
Cons: Bad mattress and small bed. The toilet stinks. At check out you need to pack the trash and carry it together with your luggage in your car and carry it until the next rubbish container, otherwise you pay €50,00.

Cons: A kettle would have been a bonus!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location at the top of the fortress was fantastic and easy access to the old town too. Parking was very spacious.
Cons: Breakfast at E17 was rather pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking. Hotel is situated at the top of the citadel, two blocks walking distance from the heart of the town, and essentially serves as the lookout destination for everyone else not lucky enough to stay here. The views of the Bonifacio cliffs are spectacular. The interiors have been beautifully and artfully furnished, and are clean and modern. Breakfast was wonderful, parking is free on site right next to the front door, and we heard there will soon be a pool to enjoy as well. Finally, the front desk recommendation to have dinner at L'Archivolto was the icing on the cake. It was hard to leave this wonderful place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location!!! Private car park, good room, clean and comfortable
Cons: Expensive breakfast
8.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, overlooking the Bonaficia Strait and old town perched on the clifftop (our room 303 on floor 7).
Cons: Window shutter broken. No refrigerator (but plenty of ice was available).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were amazing. Very friendly and attentive.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is located on the hill near to the city center and it has great parking but without a car is very difficult to reach that place, situated by the sea and with great view behind the window. The interior is in a very good taste with some kind of art inside.
Cons: All the good values of the place determinate the price for the room which I think is too expensive, but the view and localization are worth it. Breakfast is very tasty but 17 euros per person is definitely too much when my son was eating one croissant and a glass of water or orange juice...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were lovely. We liked how environmentally conscious the hotel was. Breakfast was delicious. We were able to check in an hour before time.
Cons: The location is short walk from the center of town. Breakfast was very good however the price wasn’t revealed to us until the end of our stay (17
Solemare - Bonifacio
2
8.9 Excellent (1,285 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This comfortable hotel is located in Bonifacio. The hotel features a total of 48 bedrooms. No pets are allowed on the premises.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Free parking in Bonifacio is definitely luxury. The pool was clean, quiet and had a great view and some shade. Breakfast was nice (with local products and without plastic wrapping left, right and centre) and the ladies at breakfast were very friendly and smiley. The bedroom and bathroom were modern and A/C was enjoyable after a long day outside in the heat.
Cons: The reception staff was not very friendly apart from one woman (in her 50s) who was there in the afternoon. We were not asked about our stay when checking out so we're giving our feedback here instead. No iron in the room, you have to come to reception with your clothes and iron them right next to reception in front of guests checking in... The phone in the room didn't work. And finally, the bathroom was not clean. The shower and all of the walls were covered in hair and the floor in the shower was dirty...
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view to the harbor is just lovely and the location is very good since you have everything just outside the hotel. Balcony was small but exellent. The bathroom was surprisingly large compared to the room but there wasn't any shelves or hooks to put clothes, shampoo or towels. The decor in the room and bathroom were nice and modern. The pool is very nice.
Cons: The room was very small even for european standards. When we arrived there was shampoo or soap on the bathroom floor and it made it extremely slippery. We told reception about this problem and it was adressed right away. The parking lot is way too small and the cars were badly parked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly - the room was exceptional and overlooked the harbour
Cons: No real negative to comment aboit
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location right by harbour with view over old town was superb from our balconies. Our room was very comfortable with good air con.
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t great
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is stunning, Parking at the hotel, although difficult to access is really handy. The views from our room were just stunning.
Cons: The hotel is very tired and in need of a good spruce up for the $$$$$ charged. You are paying for the view and will not be disappointed. The pool area is in need of a good spruce up. There were human feces in the outdoor shower (poos) and not a good look. We paid nearly $330 NZD for the night (No breakfast incl) This is top end for accommodation for us and it did not meet expectations
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb with amazing views of the harbour and old town. We had a small balcony where you could watch the harbour activities and watch the sun set. We were the side of the harbour to be able to enjoy the old town view. The property also has parking - a godsend and a pool.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Some rooms were hard to get to by the lift. We had to carry suitcases up a floor. If you have difficulty ask to be able to use the lift to get to your room
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location and good view of harbour from room pool was good and again nice relax and see the views around.
Cons: Overpriced (nearly €300 for room for 3 one night) and not even breakfast included. Rooms were tired. Sink taps both broken and not fixed down. Toilet set moved around. Shower ok. 3 guest and they give one shampoo and one shower wash- figure! Receptionist not welcoming and didn’t try hard to let us in room early. Would have been good to at least try rather than just repeat the policy. Air con not working. WiFi was 0.5g! not fast or good connection. Balcony railings are rotting and lose. .Shame really I’m sure hotel good when new but needs some love and attention to bring the standard up to justify the price. Disappointed
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great view over the Marina to the old town. Convenient parking. Staff couldn't be nicer.
Cons: The air conditioner seemed to reset itself to 25 degrees after 15 minutes of blowing cold air. I prefer to sleep in cooler temperatures and didn't sleep too well
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Superb location. Nice pool with great view on the port. Good breakfast.
Cons: Rooms relatively small.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Considering the hotel was charging circa £200 per night and charging breakfast extra is a joke
Cons: Room was like a shoe box absolute rip off at £200 per night when the hotel opposite 5* was charging the same price incl breakfast and a suit of 3 rooms 200m2
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect.
Cons: Rooms are small, windows of our room were facing a closed courtyard. Hardly any daylight in room.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a room with a sea view which overlooked the harbour and this was amazing. Room very comfortable with a large bathroom/wetroom. Would highly recommend.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a 1 night stay. Perfect location on the marina front, 10 min walk to the ferry port & a 10 min walk up the steep hill to the old town. Staff friendly and the bedroom & bathroom were both lovely. It was good value for money to have that perfect location for the 1 night.
Cons: Due to location on the marina front the free parking which the hotel provide a card for is approx 5- 10 min walk, was a little difficult to organise returning the parking card off at the hotel after we had exited the car park.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really convenient for the port and close to restaurants
Cons: Although we were given a token for free parking the car park was a bit of a hike
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and the staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Rooms a little small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Position, view, large veranda, great staff, breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location of this comfortable hotel with Bonifacio's harbour at it's door step is fantastic. Good breakfast on the terrace at the harhour. Close to restaurants and the citadel. Parking is very difficult in Bonifacio, but the hotel offers free private parking o close to the hotel and harbour
Cons: Room is a bit small. Staff seems to be a bit indifferent
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great along side the marina. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The rooms were small and the walls were thin, we were woken by couple next door. Wooden board head boards may not be a good idea?

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Only one night here. Location is amazing, and Bonifacio is beautiful. Only one night here so difficult to comment on all things here, but we did love the wine bar renovated from an old church. Like all things in Corsica, never cheap but this place is quite lovely to stay
Cons: Why can’t the front restaurant serve drinks? It would be a nice area to use by day rather than the street bar we were sent to.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked that it was in walking distance of the town and that it was clean
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Old hotel, very well situated at the Port
Cons: The loud nightclub music from next door until 2am. We feel that we should have been made aware of this given that we understand it happens every night in summer!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location with good parking. And the internet connection was fast.
Cons: But a little bit noisy place. Especially when it was one night in front of the hotel a disco, so it was not possible to sleep in this night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location
6.8 Good
Pros: Extremely poor internet connection. Electric plugs for appliances poor. Bathroom did not have a proper shower and curtain Mini fridge poor and didn't open properly
Cons: Parking is good. Lift from ground to 5th floor great
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money in an excellent location on the quay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was perfectly located right on the marina at Bonifacio. It was an easy walk from the ferry, and we were very fortunate that the staff allowed us to check in early which gave us extra time to explore beautiful Bonifacio. We were very close to Europcar hire, which is also on the marina a short walk away, and to the old town centre. The hotel has a lovely restaurant on the ground floor across from the marina, but we took breakfast across at one of the cafes to watch the passing parade of super yachts and interesting people. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location e parking
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy at night because of the great waterfront location
