We really loved this place. The room was excellent; clean, up to date, and with a comfortable bed. The area inside the hotel had the feel of an old inn. Their on-site restaurant as fabulous serving local fare. We had the lobster bisque, fish pie and grilled scallops - no complaints what so ever. The location was perfect. We went on a whale watching tour and the dock for the boat was next to the hotel. The only negative was that the on-site parking was rather limited. We checked in at mid-afternoon and there was only two spaces left in their parking lot.
Pros. Nothing.
Cons. Owned by thieves. You can't get to Maine because of Covid restrictions. They don't contact you about this and then take your money because you are not allowed to enter the State. Totally criminal behavior.
Pros. Beds were firm and comfortable and nice assortment of included breakfast foods
Cons. Was a bit dated and couldn't turn tub handle all the way off
Pros. From check in to check out our time at the Fisherman's Wharf Inn was, as always, a great time. The location, being able to watch the Harbor activities from our room, and being in the center of town, made all the activities convenient. Coming the third week in September was perfect. The town was just slowing down for the summer, still good food, lots to do, but end of summer sales, and no lines, boat trips still very comfortable... a fantastic time! Still our number 1 go to location for vacation, and we're from California!!!
Cons. Can't think of much negative. Haven't been there in 10 years, and was sorry to hear that the Ebb Tide was sold. No peach short cake! The restaurant was still there, but NOTthe same.
Pros. Found the Fisherman's Wharf to be a great location. Easy access to all the shops and restaurants.
Cons. The breakfast was only okay. We ended up going out to eat for breakfast because my husband was not too happy about it.
