We loved the views and the breakfast buffet was amazing, Great staff!
I stayed here because I was attending an art show and I lived an hour and half away. The room was okay, very bland, the fan on the ceiling and in the bathroom where ridiculously annoying we couldn't use them because of the noise they produced when they ran. Parking was a hassle... We repeatedly had to move traffic cones out of the way of free parking spots? Why do guests have to move them, I found it annoying and a bit rude, this is a hotel after all - and why are there cones in the way of free spots where guests are intended to park... Never received an answer.... The room was fairly priced, but I was irritated that I saw a discounted rate 20 dollars less per night after I booked the room for several nights...why would you do that..? It's crap.... and it's going to annoy people.... It annoyed me... The card readers on the doors to the rooms suck! You have to fuss with them excessively to get them to read the card.... Another annoyance.... All in all... It was okay... Nothing fabulous, its location is great... And if it weren't for that it wouldn't get great reviews...it was adequate... But it didn't really wow me and it was below my expectations... It's average... A "C" it gets from me... Card readers on the doors Moving traffic cones out of free parking spots Front desk staff could have been more accommodating Excessively noisy room fans Ice machine is located outside
The staff was so friendly & helpful. The room was pleasant & clean. Room was convenient with tiki bar & restaurant. Beautiful view. Will stay there again. Bathroom was spotless, just a bit tight quarters..
Welcoming staff, outstanding breakfast, beautiful restaurant ( included in breakfast), great location, wonderful models for interest.
This resort has just been completely remodeled. The facilities are first class!! It was not full season so there was not a lot of others there yet.
It was easy to find on the outskirts of Boothbay harbour and was reasonable value for money as a basic motel-style place to stay. It was five minutes by car from the centre of town. The walls have no sound insulation so you could have interrupted sleep. In our case a loud family party were next door and caroused until 10:30pm when we finally called reception. To their credit, their reaction was swift and effective.
Basic clean motel with friendly staff and ok continental breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was extremely clean and quiet. It was close enough to the harbor and you can't beat the price. The continental breakfast area was extremely small - we had to bring our bagel back to our room to eat and since there is no table in the room we had to sit on the bed to eat.
The pool was great and the convenience to downtown Boothbay was a real bonus. We could walk to town or take a free trolly ride which stopped by the hotel about every half hour between 9 and 5 (we also rode it back when we finished in town).
Clean. Comfortable. Close to Boothbay Harbour. Good rate. Warm, courteous, helpful staff. Excellent abundant continental breakfast. Fridge and microwave actually worked. It was cold (mid-October) and heating worked well. We would stay again.
Well run & well kept.Away from crowded Harbor area. Good continential breakfast Nothing but though it was close to Harbor area
The Inn was conveniently situated for us and provided a good base from which we were able to explore the town.
The room was clean, and the staff was very polite. The continental breakfast was just enough to get us started for the day. The refrigerator in the room was a nice convienence. The mattress was hard. I was hoping the queen mattresses were a better quality or softer, but we were told they were all the same. We kept the king room then.
The location; the pool; it was close to the road yet quiet; staff in front office and breakfast barn were cheerful and helpful. Interior of room could use some updating (carpeting); coffee could have been a little stronger.
The rooms are clean and newly renovated. The staff could not be more welcoming and ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
They let us in our room before check-iin tme and the people were very friendly and courteous Wasn't as luxurious as the price usually brings but that is because of the area
The staff was excellent--all were friendly, competent and helpful. The room was not in the least bit shabby and was immaculately clean. The breakfast was varied and ample for a continental breakfast. The only thing I would have preferred would be that I wish the breakfast facility were connected to the inn.
Loved everything about this hotel! Spacious, clean rooms with a comfortable bed and everything you could need. Friendly staff, loved the clean heated saltwater pool and the lake right out back! We used the row boats it was so fun. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I was in the area. Nothing!
Water view from the balcony The bathroom is large but the mirror and towel rack were up too high.
Excellent location on Boothbay, and adjacent to the footbridge to downtown. Plent of Adirondack chairs around for relaxing. Hotel bar and restaurant is "OK." Piano player, friendly bartender. We had a Maine lobster dinner outdoors -"Tuesday night special" - for $19.95 and only $10 for extra lobster. Hotel is in good shape but feels dated. Rooms are just OK. Not terrible, but nothing fancy. But for this price range this is what you get in BB. Pay more, get more. But we were fine since we spent very little time in our room. Free breakfast is not bad. Service is friendly. Would stay again. Nothing really negative. Just "dated" ambience
Found the Fisherman's Wharf to be a great location. Easy access to all the shops and restaurants. The breakfast was only okay. We ended up going out to eat for breakfast because my husband was not too happy about it.
From check in to check out our time at the Fisherman's Wharf Inn was, as always, a great time. The location, being able to watch the Harbor activities from our room, and being in the center of town, made all the activities convenient. Coming the third week in September was perfect. The town was just slowing down for the summer, still good food, lots to do, but end of summer sales, and no lines, boat trips still very comfortable... a fantastic time! Still our number 1 go to location for vacation, and we're from California!!! Can't think of much negative. Haven't been there in 10 years, and was sorry to hear that the Ebb Tide was sold. No peach short cake! The restaurant was still there, but NOTthe same.
Beds were firm and comfortable and nice assortment of included breakfast foods Was a bit dated and couldn't turn tub handle all the way off
The place is right on main st. Easy go get to, especially if you are "galavanting" around Boothbay. Very central. I never saw anyone !I while looking for the front door I bumped into a person who told me my keys were in an envelope by the door. Never saw anyone again. I guess it was more of a" self management"kind of place.Granted,it was off season... The room was clean and comfortable. A few dusty bunnies...the shower has great pressure but the stall itself is quite tight and was cracked on the bottom side oh the wall. I' d wiiling to stay there again when in season.
Location The staff didn't make us feel welcome, the room was dingy, and hot and the furniture was all mismatched
The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the waterview and the adirondack chairs on the waterfront. No lounge, and lunch/dinner were not available at the hotel. Pool and hot tub were closed after dark.
The site, the view from the hotel room. Rooms needs renovation. Site excellent. Brakefest is OK.
Need to work on breakfast choices.
The staff was very friendly and the facilities were well maintained and clean. The breakfast would benefit from a greater variety of food, particularly warm vegetarian items. The free domestic phone service was a great plus althouh we used it only once or twice. The WiFi service needs to be upgraded and should be avaialble in the Oceanfront building and not just the Pavilion.
The view. The outside of the hotel was in need of repair and updating. The room smelled musty. The bed was hard and the linens outdated. The breakfast was so so. Overall ...overpriced.
The resort was easy to get to and proximity to town center was easily accessible. The view of the ocean was tranquil and scenic. It is unique to see the coast lined with Pine trees Room reserved was not the room requested. Pictures of hotel were misleading it appeared to be more upscale than it actually was, "Exercise room" was outside under a shed.
