Overview
A treasured retreat in Southern California, La Casa del Zorro Resort and Spa has been restored to its 1937 glory. A luxurious desert resort that is located about 90 miles from downtown San Diego or is roughly a three-hour drive from Los Angeles. Complimentary transportation to the Borrego Springs Airport is provided by La Casa del Zorro Resort for those guests that are arriving via airplane. The resort consists of 42 acres along the edge of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
There are 44 guest rooms surrounding the pool, and each of the rooms features rustic desert decor styles but with all of the modern comforts. Rooms contain vaulted ceilings, smooth tile floors, wood burning fireplaces, and luxurious marble bathtubs. In addition to the 44 poolside rooms, the property also features 19 casitas which offer guests even more privacy. The private casitas have multiple bedrooms and spacious common areas making them an ideal choice for larger families or friend groups. Each of the casitas has either a private plunge pool or private hot tub.
The resort grounds include many forms of entertainment including five tennis courts which are lighted for evening and nighttime play. There are also two pickleball courts and five guest pools. The fitness center includes a fitness advisor and a yoga studio. Guests can also seek spa treatments at the world-class spa on the resort grounds. There are three restaurants where guests can indulge breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The Fox Bistro an extensive and creative menu, the Fox Den Bar is a homey spot for enjoying craft beer and exciting cocktails, and the Rose Garden Terrace offers open-air dining.
