Riad Ilayka - Marrakesh - Bedroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: At Riad Ilyaka we felt at home in the otherwise bustling Médina. The entire staff from the management team to the concierge gentlemen are committed to providing a comfortable stay. It is clear that the team prides itself on offering a 360-degree experience. Azeddine was the highlight for us. He is a gentle-soul with a warm smile who goes the extra mile without expecting anything in return. This is superb service. We recommend organizing excursions, tours or inquiring at the Riad, as they validate legitimacy. The best part about staying in a Riad is the authentic cultural experience. You do have take a few turns in the alleyways to find the entrance, but the staff offers to help navigate until you feel comfortable with the route. At no point did we ever feel unsafe. There is only one way in and out, with a bolted door which the staff controls. At night there is a security guard outside a hostel in the alleyway which also keeps an eye on any traffic. The rooftop is also locked down late at night for extra security. A safe is provided in the room. On our last evening, the staff organized a private cooking class. We had so much fun shopping in the market hall and picking the spices. The chefs talked us through every step so that we can recreate the dishes at home. The tagine we made was the best we had!

Pros: The property is a family structure with 7 rooms, all in traditional Moroccan style. The Riad is located 5 minutes walking from the main square walking through the souk, in a quiet area. Cons: If you have a car make sure you park in save place because no cars going inside medinah and when u park make sure u give them o call so someone can come for you to take you to the riad afther that it ez to go where you want to and come back to the riad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where do I begin?! We really wanted to get an authentic feel of Morocco but we're worried about service. We read up and decided to go with a Riad. It's basically a small mansion with a few rooms. And we did not expect the AMAZING luxury service that we got at Riad Ilayka! Mohammed the manager was always so helpful with whatever we asked. He set us up with a private cooking class at the Riad! We then had our meal served to us for dinner in a beautiful presentation! Our room was always clean when we got back from site seeing and you can tell they take great pride in keeping the Riad itself in amazing condition. We made friends with a few others staying at the Riad and truly felt as if the staff were family. I highly recommend Riad Ilayka and will be back soon to visit!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance, the fantastic service, the view from the roof terrace
Cons: I hate to say any negatives because this place is awesome. The aircon could be improved though and I have no doubt it will be by the time we return!

Cons: Initially hard to find, but afterwards very rewarding

Pros: The room was perfectly curated and gorgeous. Staff were super helpful. It's in the middle of the medina but so quiet and peaceful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mr Jean Claude Messent came around the pool and said hello, his presence of excellence was apparent the entire staff of unbelievable. Can’t wait to make another trip
Cons: Bedding could have been a bit more fluffy however I was quite comfortable. It is truly hard to find a complaint
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: No
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing architecture and great food!
Cons: No entertainment for the guests, on Saturday at 11pm piano bar was already closed! Hotel is not lively, no social atmosphere. Rooms have a big safety issue: the doors to each room present Moroccan carving which is set in such a way that all doors are very narrow and guests hurt their shoulders quite painfully!!! This is actually main reason that I will not be staying in this hotel again. Safety hazard for kids and adults.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a magnificent hotel and goes way beyond anything you expect and find in a ‘hotel’. Hence the price, but worth every penny.
Cons: No segregation or restriction on smokingwhich could easily be resolved. A particular problem in the restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Marrakech style riads make you feel like you're in a movie, everything from top to bottom is perfect . This is the best hotel in town (we've been to the other hotels around to see)
Cons: I liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best service + staff ever , good location
Cons: I recommend to make new few riyads but for individual room rent rather than taking a full riyad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best way to explore Marocco/ The hotel belongs to Royal family. after knowing this no need to write more. I definately recomend this place.
Cons: The personal made a lot of mistakes, but they always wanted us to be happy and offered something paying back for these mistakes. It was very professional. We were happy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, a few steps from the centre of Marrakech. The hotel is fabulous and the buildings are finished to a very high standard. The quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail is amazing. Our Riad was enormous. There were so many places to sit and relax. We ate in our dining room, Mustafa our butler was very attentive. It was lovely to use the pool on the roof at the end of the day. The gym in the Spa is very good with up to date equipment.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very confortable, nice room, but when you take a shower you wet all the floor because the bathroom has not curtains
Cons: The WiFi didn’t wrong, and the locations is not the center... it’s a little difficult find it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad itself is just beautiful. The staff were SO friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was so comfy. We loved the downstairs area and the rooftop part. Breakfast was really good. We had a fantastic massage on site in the spa area. It is really well situated at the edge of the souk.
Cons: There was no gluten free bread available for my husband although we mentioned it in our original email and again on arrival. Although his morning omelettes were great - thank you. A tiny thing - but really fresh juice every morning would have been great.

Pros: Everything

Kasbah Atfel - Bou Azza - Building
4
9.6 Excellent (102 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Kasbah Atfel in Ourika, you'll be just steps from Toubkal National Park and High Atlas. Featured amenities include a library and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights and had two rooms on the second floor with balconies that look over amazing views of the snow covered High Atlas. The hotel, rooms and grounds are very beautiful. It is incredibly quiet and relaxing. It was the nicest hotel we had in 17 days in Portugal and Morocco. Out of 8 hotels in the two countries, all but one in Lisbon and Kasbah Atfel had hard beds and pillows. Atfel's beds and pillows were the quality you would expect from a Hyatt Regency or good Hilton. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and each meal was very good. The local wines were also very good. Relaxing by the beautiful pool is wonderful. We picked oranges off the trees near the pool to eat. We had a wonderful time. The location is between Marrakech and the waterfall hikes in Ourika Valley. It is about a 35-60 minute drive to each. There is nothing else around it. This is the place to go to if you just want to stay at the hotel and relax. That was fine for us. Abder couldn't have been more accommodating. He arranged a cab to the airport and took a combination of currencies and credit card for the bill so we could use up our currency. He even gave me some of his dried orange and lemon slices to go, which are fantastic.
Cons: There really are no negatives. A neighbor's dog barked and kept us up for 1 hour the first night, so the second night we closed all the windows and turned on the in-room air conditioner to block out the barking. Neither the owner nor main server spoke English very well and we didn't speak French or Berber. Obviously, this is our fault. The only consequence was that it was difficult to figure out lunch and dinner menus and to get a pot of hot water for tea to use with our own teabags, not being fond of sugared mint tea. It didn't really matter what food we ordered. It was all great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The prefect retreat having spent a few days in Marrakesh - highly recommend and we'll be back :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very welcome in this kasbah. Located a small distance from any city center. Has amazing views and a very good and confortable room. The staff was also friendly and breakfast good as well. Great stay, highly recommended for the region. Good place to stay if travelling by many places in the mountain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Host, AbdurRaheem, is superb, and very attentive. Staff, Imaan, Jamal, and Adeel are excellent. The pool and location are outstanding. The breakfast is fantastic. I cannot praise this place enough. Thank you so much. Well be back God willing.
Cons: Meals more expensive when compared to restaurants in local town, but understand that they have to run a business. They probably compare well with other villas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and two boys, 9 and 7, spent a few days at Kasbah Atfel before and after a road trip to the South. I've stayed in several lovely places around Morocco but never been made to feel so at home as at Kasbah Atfel. Abder, Adil, Amir and Jamilla were consummate hosts. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated with, the mountain views are stunning, the pool is large, the kitchen is always open, in fact it's like being at home. Location is great, right next to mountains, loads to do outside and after a day trip the Kasbah hammam is a great way to clean up before another epic tagine. The two Kasbah dogs, Olga and Marky were super cool and the kids loved playing with them. There is also an extensive fruit, vegetable and herb garden that provides the kitchen with fresh produce.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great stay, location and staff was excellent and friendly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food and friendly service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing. Everything is amazing. Abder is a true gentleman. We loved everything, and will be back.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Cons: had to ask for hair dryer, clean towels provided on request
10.0 Excellent
Cons: All kasbah is very clean and a relaxing spot near to all destination such as Marrakesh, Ourika valley and Imlil. We were the only guest in the kasbah and we felt ourseleves as a couple in a fairy tale. They cooked what we asked we swam in the big, nice pool alone and we were farewell with biofruits from the garden. Must go there again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely, peaceful place to stay in the Medina - packed with character. The staff were friendly, always helpful and provided us lots of wonderful recommendations in terms of what to see and do. The bedroom was heaven, very private and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Delicious food lovingly prepared. Interesting and charming decor. Faultless staff in every category.
Cons: A little tricky to locate the first time, but easy afterwards. Beware the charming local youths who will help you with bags at a steep price. Settle price before they assist you. This is no reflection on the hotel but just a local fact of life.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was excellent, everything was well organized (trips etc.) The room was really clean!
Cons: The breakfast was a bit the same everyday
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is probably by far one of my most memorable boutique hotel experiences. Riad 72 wowed us in almost every way, from the wonderful staff, to inteioror design, to its own restaurant. Stefania, the manager, and the entire staff was extremely courteous and understanding of our every needs. Very patient and helpful. The riad was more than a place to stay, it's both a showcase of morrocan art and a home away from home. We are so glad to have chosen Riad 72 as our introduction to Moroccan culture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad 72 is a luxury boutique hotel with all of the amenities. The owner Stefania is personally engaged from the minute you arrive until your departure. Our experience began at the airport where we were met and transported to the Riad. After a nice welcome and sit down with Stefania, we were shown to our room on the second floor w/ a terrace overlooking the interior of the Riad. Two things that Stefania provided that were super helpful were the detailed map of her design outlining restaurants, shopping, etc. and a mobile phone that was preprogrammed with relevant numbers, sights, etc. of Marrakech to use during our stay. Daily breakfast were delicious as were the cappuccinos. We dined at the Riad one evening and it was one of the best meals we had during our 24 days in Morocco. A special thanks to Maria for assisting us w/ dinner reservations as well. We plan to return to Marrakech at some point and we will definitely plan on staying at Raid 72! Thank you Stefania and team for a wonderful three days.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Classy decoration, extremely comfortable, wonderfully peaceful ambience.
Cons: Slight over reliance on the manageress to provide advice and recommendations,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: An amazing unique experience that no hotel or boutique hotel can provide. The handy phone was amazing for all our communication needs. The personalized recommendations and tips by Stefania were so helpful - truly made our stay unforgettable. A beautiful property in great location with all the ways to make guests feel safe.
Cons: The ac vent were right above our heads on the bed which made it a bit uncomfortable. The blankets weren’t thick enough.

Cons: Had a junior suite, which overall was nice, but bonus room was awkwardly laid out. Closets had no room to hang long dresses.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent as was dinner. The pools are lovely
Cons: The first night we were given a room which was extremely noisy. We could hear the noise from a club and we had a sleepless night. We complained the next morning but didn't even get an apology from the receptionist who obviously knew all about the noise. The other room we were given was fine and we had no further issues.

Cons: room not clean and not safety and noise
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: ???
Cons: Service was a catastrophe! Food middle standard! Réception Personal super unfriendly. Service at the pool!? Which service???? Dirty and not really comfortable! Not to recommend!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool area, rooms, decor and SO lounge were all amazing and beautiful, breakfast was very pleasant especially when sat outside, restaurants stunning. Set in a good location with nice restaurants around.
Cons: The service was extremely slow, for example myself and my friend had to ask for an adapter as ours was broken and they took hours to deliver one, when they finally did it didn’t work and we then had to ask repeatedly for someone to come to our room with an adapter that did work. Communication was also an issue, upon checkout we were asked to pay for the whole of our stay despite already having paid this plus the £350 deposit at the very start during check in! Luckily we had kept the receipt!

Cons: Swimming pool was just for show and in main area so could not use and very small - should not be described as a swimming pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel owner was very nice and hospitable. It was our very first day in Morocco and we weren't so well-prepared about getting around Marrakesh and other stuffs so she gave us many great and useful tips and suggestions. Good services. Lovely interior decoration.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: WE particularly liked the friendly staff. They prepared a wonderful Moroccan meal for us on arrival, which was most welcome as well as being extremely tasty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Both the room and the bathroom were quite spacious and clean! The common area and the terrace were cute-cozy! The area seemed slightly dodgy for 2 women (i was travelling with my mother). The manager, Francesca and the Fahd were quite helpful!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is in the very center of the Medina. Once you enter it you find an oasis, away from the crowds. It's very relaxing. The staff is really helpful. They organized transport for us, gave us important tips and were always available. I highly recommend the place.

Pros: The property can best be described as a compound that functions as a respite from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The grounds are gorgeous and pool one of the best. The staff are exceedingly friendly and go out of their way to ensure your comfort.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The poolside had amazing service! Complementary Ice cream & fruit that the wait staff brought around, complementary water with your own little esky, sunblock and books. All pool staff were amazing!
Cons: There was no dedicated ‘concierge’ desk. A young girl that they were training had been given the job to do this but could not answer anything! There were two senior staff women watching on without offering to come and help her or us with our enquires. Very unprofessional for this standard of hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Just I want to give some little information about four seasons in Marrakech it's very nice hotel and good location i recommend this hotel
Cons: What I don't like is they let my partner waiting in the reception for one hour because the hotel staff don't expect cash or somebody else bank card for the payment even i make reservation under my partner name! I try to call them again again they don't accept, they need the same bank card as what we use for booking. After that I have to go to make payment and use my bank card ! It's take for me one hour driving to four season hotel. i never had this problem with other hotels in Morocco and out of Morocco ,really I don't understand why❓it's very unbelievable and totally unacceptable !

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is perfectly located— right next to the main square in the Medina. The staff was always helpful and cheerful.
Cons: Our bedding was never changed. We know this because we left tip in the pillowcase for the maid (as suggested on several travel sites) and the money was unmoved. Towels were only changed if left on floor. Also, it is very hard to locate as there aren’t many signs pointing where it is compared to other riads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ali and Sana took care of all our airport transfers our tours and excellent recommendations as to where to visit per our interest.
Cons: Everything was better than pictures and reviews showed. Location was within 3 minutes of main square. No dislikes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely kind and hardworking
6.8 Good
Pros: Location- right in heart of the medina. Biham room was pretty with traditional decor. Hotel is beautiful and great value for money. Terrace is a nice getaway. Fazar the receptionist is great and very helpful.
Cons: Spa facilities available. Requested a particular hamam. But was given a different one at the highest price. Challenged this successfully, but the staff were standoffish for the remainder of our stay which was definitely off putting and affected our holiday mood. Hamam was a great first experience on the plus side. Be aware that in the biham room you can hear all comers/goers/conversations/breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are really friendly & helpful. Lovely decor in the riad. It was spotless clean, bedding, toiletries etc changed daily. Perfect location, very central but quiet at the same time. Well worth getting the transfers (only €20 per couple).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marrakesh is a sublime experience - a riot on the senses! This riad was perfect; tranquility in the centre of the craziness! Staff were exceptionally friendly too. Also food, hammamm .... excellent.
6.8 Good
Pros: The Good: The facilities were top notch. As far as Riads are concerned, compared to the other Riads we stayed in Morocco, this one was one of the best ones in terms of renovation. Very well appointed with a modern bathroom and nice bed. And best of all, no bad smell in the bathroom from the sewer system. The location was good. Only 2-3 minutes walk to the main square. The hamam seemed nice, but we did not have time to enjoy it. The Bad: Absolutely unacceptable service compared to other Riads in Morocco, even compared to others that cost half as much. And we stayed in our share of these in Morocco. We had to leave for a tour at 8 am, and they refused to bother getting any breakfast because breakfast started at 8. Every other Riad we stayed in Morocco, at least tried to meet the guests needs, and asking to get breakfast a few minutes early was not unreasonable. We were willing to just get coffee or juice to go, as we had to be in a van for 3-4 hours starting at 8, but they did not even bother to at least get us coffee, nor seemed to be be apologetic about the issue. Maybe it may not be an issue for everyone, and yes, we could buy coffee outside for less than a dollar, but the whole attitude was a put off. Will not stay here again, specially when there are many similar properties around with 100% better service. It is not a major issue, but if every one only writes glowing reviews without being factual and honest, then others cannot rely on traveler reviews and the whole system does not work. We all need to be able to state both the good and the bad in our reviews, and let others make up their own mind based on their needs and wants.
Cons: Staff attitude. See details above......
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Location was amazing, right in the Medina and very easy to find... The staff was great, pleasant and friendly, especially Faisal and Sanai (i may be spelling her name wrong), i didn't get a chance to say bye to Sanai so i hope you're reading this, it was nice to meet you and thank you for your hospitality... Me and my partner are both vegans and the staff tried their best to make sure we had enough choice for breakfast which we both really appreciated. We stayed in the Clava room, which was nice, size of the room was big enough for the two. The shower door is glass so you can be seen by whoever you're travelling with, wasn't a problem for us but just to let others aware as i wasn't. Terrace was absolutely beautiful, had enough sun loungers and a Jacuzzi. Because there is not a lot of rooms in this Riad, majority of the time we had the terrace to ourselves. We had the riad sort out our airport transfer at one 20 euros (about 200 dirhams). Would definitely recommend this Riad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay in Marrakesh everything exceeded my expectations cleanliness, location & the staff are more than perfect specially Abdelali & Sanaa they did their best to help me, felt like home. Nothing more can ask for

Pros: We really liked the spaciousness of the Riad, with it's large courtyard and pool. Also very impressed with the tasteful and authentic way in which it's renovation had been carried out. Alexandra and her staff could not have been more polite and helpful, our room and bed were very comfortable, and the food, both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Location is ideal, not too far to walk to the souks and main square, and very close proximity to a taxi pick up and drop off point. As seasoned travellers to Marrakech, over many years, we would recommend Emberiza Sahari to any visitor to this wonderful city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our Marrakech experience was exceptional largely due to Alexandra and the Riad. The staff, the room and the location were perfect. However, most notably the model offered by the Riad is one that stands out as truly exceptional. In fact it combines the best features of Airbnb and the traditional hotel industry in one. A lovely host that provides advice on sightseeing, restaurants and activities as well as a wonderful Riad with multilingual staff that stood out as much better than any other service staff in the Marrakech. A lovely boutique hotel that not only offers a lovely and memorable stay, but also guarantees a wonderful overall Morocco experience.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This riad created a beautiful, peaceful setting not far from the craziness of the Marrakech medina. The rooms and bathroom were large and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad is absolutely amazing, like an oasis of calm inside the busy Medina of Marrakech. The staff was great and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. There is nothing more you could wish for. You really feel like royalty there.

Pros: Great staff here. Really looked after us. Quality breakfast. Great dining options arranged for us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, excellent riad and excellent host (Alexandra) who was extremely helpful throughout our stay! Strongly recommend staying here! :-)
Cons: The pool isn't really for swimming in but, to be fair, I don't think many of the pools in Marrakech are. More for decoration that merely amplify the central courtyard. :-)

Pros: The rooms are a bit old but nice. The reception is great.
Cons: The food and the service. The food overall is just bad. We have been coming here for years and we could clearly see the difference this year. The staff in the kitchen and the pool is really not friendly and the room service is among the worst I have done. Used to be the best.

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was amazing! I recommend this hotel for the warmer months
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It’s not as I expected, first stay we request dinner from them we get sick was reheated food and was expensive. Will not recommend this place.
Cons: No thing to like, dust everywhere on the property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about Ksar Sallha ! The best hospitality , personal service and exceptional accommodation . We enjoyed the meals , setting and the staff is out of this world.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property is amazing, well kept and in a quiet location outside Marrakech but reachable by car in a few minutes. The staff is kind and always glad to help out.
Cons: Meal prices are outrageous considering local standards (lunch: 200MAD per person, dinner: 250MAD per person; drinks excluded). I have stayed at places that offer the same kind of meal included in the accommodation price, for less than that. Only accommodation in Morocco where we’ve been charged for mint-tea. The last meters of road need to be fixed, we almost ruined our car on a bump no one can see at first.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, heated pool, huge comfy bed, great food, wonderful owners. Hammam was great, exceeded my expectations.. massage wasn’t all that.. masseuse talking on the phone and it was more like light padding than a massage..
Cons: There was construction going on just on the other side of the fence, quite loud, hopefully that’s over..? WiFi didn’t work very well but who needs WiFi in a place like this?! Paradise, will definitely be back :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Riad just around the corner from the main square, yet quiet and peaceful. Caterina is such a welcoming and warm host! The meal she prepared for us in the Riad was the best we’d had in the whole week, and she kindly catered for my vegan daughter at short notice. What we didn’t expect is that she would set a lovely table in the private dining room, lay on many traditional starters and the best lamb tagine ever! With a roaring fire too! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay with true charm, an authentic Moroccan atmosphere and a warm welcome, Ria Des Eaux et Spa is the right place for you. I recommend their massage too! We’ll be back soon ...
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was nicely decorated with lovely carved windows. Catherine the proprietor is very helpful and so is the rest of the staff . The riad gives you a feel of traditional Moroccan living. They make very nice mint tea too !
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super helpful, we arrived late at night after a long trip, and were met with tasty compliments and good conversation. Location is close to the main square "Place de Marché Animée Jemaa el-fna", where you can get everything Marrakech can offer. Riad stays for an old building in Morroco, room was decorated in traditional style, bed was comfortable and there is hot water available in the shower. Breakfast was good, ask for an omelet first if you don't like bread too much.
Cons: In Marrakech, there is no central heating, so in winter time it can be really cool in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this Riad is perfect (a calm side street off a busy passage, just steps from the buzzing chaos of the square), the breakfast was delicious (fresh fruit and warm breads with a great selection of jams), the value was excellent (extremely reasonably priced) and the hospitality was truly outstanding. The shuttle service from the airport was a great convenience. The building itself is impeccably kept and beautifully laid out around a central courtyard. We found it very cosy and inviting. Our stay was complicated due to personal reasons but the brilliant staff at the Riad, particularly Fakardia and Gianfranco, could not have been more wonderful! They showed us amazing care and hospitality and made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. We can't express enough our gratitude to them. We definitely recommend this Riad as one of the best places we have ever stayed, and look forward to returning to Morocco soon to stay there again!
Cons: Nothing could have been better. The hospitality, care and attention was outstanding.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can write about location, rooms, maroccan style, breakfast and anything else...What’s really make the difference of Riad des Aux in Marrakech, is the owner: Caterina. She’s always available to support Guest request, even better is not necessary to ask, she’s anticipating you. I suggest to have a dinner in the Riad, Caterina is able to turned the internal patio into a warm and comfortable restaurant that is ideal for a romantic dinner.
Cons: Nothing to report

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel, but the staff really make it. They are so attentive and happy to help with every need, whether it being getting a taxi, or booking a restaurant. Location was easy to get by taxi and great places to eat. Pool area and evening entertainment is also lovely. Tapas was to die for! The spa was a bonus and not too expensive, and after speaking to other tourists nearby we definitely had the best hotel!
Cons: The shower didn't drain very quickly, so we ended up with water everywhere most of the time. Also the sink plug kept getting stuck.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is super. It is safe and convenient to go to some nice restaurants as well as daily grocery or pharmacy stuff if needed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean. Air con and WiFi were excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were attentive and willing to help. Sky bar staff not quite to high standard of others. Food in restaurant was amazing.
Cons: Limited number of sun beds around the pool. Other guests put towels on and left for lengthy periods of time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location and good property, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was superb and filling. The lifeband and sky lounge added to the evening time experience.
Cons: The air freshener on the corridor was a little bit strong and irritating for people scent/perfume sensitive.
8.0 Excellent

Pros: Lovely facilities, there was a good variety of food offered at breakfast, pool bar was nice both by day and night. I would highly recommend this hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was unbelievable. Easily the best breakfast selection I have ever had. Location was perfect for us. A short walk to the madness of the Medina. Only negative I would have is the cost of drink (water and alcohol) in the rooftop bar is quite expensive.

Pros: Huge property, enjoyed midnight walks and early morning strolls. Really beautiful area. E detainment staff made the stay even better. Very friendly and cooperative highly recommend this hotel to any family or couple.
Cons: Nothing it was fantastic
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Front desk, pool, bar and restaurant staff are excellent and friendly. Facilities were really good and thought out. Food was fantastic and catered for a variety of tastes and ages.
Cons: Entertainment staff focused on engaging with French speaking tourists. I think this related to Kapa having a greater foothold of the site and some of the entertainment staff appeared to be employed/sponsored by Kapa. It would have been a great touch to have tea and coffee facilities in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing, thank you so much for the nice service and the nice food and hospitality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the rooms a good size. We arrived earlier than the check in time of 3pm and they upgraded us and got us a room over 2 hours early with no charge, which was very much appreciated. The hotel has very large gounds with lots of green space and had pretty much every sporting facility you could think of, a little farm and loads of things to do. We really liked the adult pool away from screaming kids and as such was not too overcrowded and it had its own bar. The food was lovely and the free shuttle bus to the medenia was great. The hotel also exchanged money without charging commission. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Marrakech.
Cons: Entertainment in the evening could have been better.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Best Localization. Good Breakfast served in a nice area. Great Room, although it was an upgrade. Nice staff.
Cons: A cockroach in the first night, luckily it was the only one we saw during all the stay, but it was not nice. Some constructions works in the rooftop pool. Pools with water very cold. Not clean as a 5 star hotel should be, and some little maintenance issues like light switches not working properly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything excellent at an affordable price for a so luxury place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is exquisite, lavish and excellent in every way. Centrally located, with only a very short two minute stroll to the Square. I felt as though I was in a haven, the serenity within the hotel is perfection. This is one hotel I didn't want to leave. The spa I would rate as 10/10 absolutely amazing aesthetically and the treatments and staff absolutely perfect. The roof top Indian restaurant is a must visit, the menu and quality A+, staff excellent and listening to the call to prayer as the sunsets was extraordinary. I would highly recommend this hotel, one of my highlights of a very long trip.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing I could mention here, this hotel is exquisite in every way.

Pros: The restaurants are nice and the food is delicious. The staff is kind and the location is perfect

Cons: The staff was disorganized and dishonest. They strung us along for several hours about attempts to fix the AC in our room only to finally admit there was no AC in the hotel in February (despite being a warm and muggy night) after we confronted them with the fact that every room had its windows open.

Pros: We loved our stay here! The staff are wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful. Don’t be put off by the drive there, it’s bumpy when you turn off the main road but it leads to a little piece of heaven. We had a lovely big room, huge bed and private bathroom. The room was tidied everyday. The food was simple but made with great care - the Moroccan salad was amazing along with the Tagines. The pool was immaculately clean with sun loungers surrounding as well as day beds. They have a bar and a small gym as well as two roof terraces and the cutest huski puppies (so so friendly). It is an easy 15min journey into Marrakesh which the Riad organise for you. We will definitely be back and highly recommend
Cons: Nope it was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing property settled within hectars of olive groves facing the Atlas.after 3 hours driving back from ouarzazet, it was the perfect place for us to immediately dipp in the beautiful blue pool and enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner accompanied with a nice bottle of local wine.slept like a baby in the most comfortable bed ever.i think if it wasn't for the sound of birds singing in the morning, i wouldn't have woken up early enough to sadly catch the flight back home.breakfast was great and very friendly staff.
Cons: no signs to find the place.make sure to contact the Property to get advance directions. But khalil the new owner assured me that he was working on direction signs to be put up very shortly. Unfortunately it was a short stay.highly recomment for people going or coming back from ouarzazet.

Pros: For my first time in Morocco, it was a nice surprise to find such a beautiful place, and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are exceptional and very helpful, having diner in the room it’s a real plus.a lovely place to stay overall.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice place to have a rest from the hurly burly of Marrakech. We were pleased with the location, the decoration of the property, the calm, the friendliness of the staff (everybody tried to help the best they could ) the host, reliable, always checking up on us without being invasive, the breakfast was very good and tasty (I particularly loved the homemade apricot jam and the freshly squeezed orange juice) the food from the menu was quite good too, it just took too long so make sure you order with plenty of time in advance.
Cons: The music was a little too loud at times some nights. It would be a good idea to put a kettle in the rooms/ few cups , a hairdryer and provide toiletries daily accordingly with the number of people in the rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great luxurious location, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, nice pool
Cons: It's a bit hard to find, navigating on unpaved roads
