Pros: Very nice place! Good service, food and very helpfull!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very nice riad with amazingly helpful staff. We love the city as it's less chaotic as Marrakech or Fes. the people are super nice to help us arrange cars and travel options. also the breakfast is amazing.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable, easy to find, affordable, great food. Perfect
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely Riad with great and helpful staff. They give you a map which is nice for orientation. The breakfast was great and the coffee as well. The interior and decoration is awesome. We had a room on the groundfloor with a little terrace, which we liked. The have a rooftop terrace and a great, but very cool pool as well. Easy to reach and parking is just in front of the Riad.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: First of all, we read in our guide that the 'petite riad' has wonderful home cooked meals and it wasn't a lie. The food was just fantastic! Dinner as well as breakfast. The owner is very friendly and the property is beautiful. Our room was huge! Much bigger than we expected.
Cons: Nothing really. We were only there for one night travelling threw so I can't say much about the location.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything is close by in small town Warzazat. Selected furnitures and devolution made me feel like I was staying in boutique hotel. Perfect for shopping inspiration. Very nice breakfast. Near local Mosque.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is family run. The owner was very kind and gave us a free upgrade to a suite. He even let us pick from one of the two suites available at the time! We also decided to have dinner there as the reviews all mentioned how great the food was. I can confirm that all the reviews were true. The home cooked 3 course meal was absolutely amazing! I particularly enjoyed the soup. The price was very reasonable for a 3 course meal. The room was big and clean. The entire place is very quite.
Cons: It may be slightly difficult to find the dar.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Host Ali is very kind and room is comfortable, stay only one night here and it is a good place to stay in ourzazat before go to sahara, with quiet beautiful view of star, sunset and sunrise. Convient for car parking, and car parking for free
Cons: If not self drive, may be a little difficult to go to the downtown
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is not really easy to find, but you can trust your GPS, sooner or later you’ll find it. As there were not too many people, the owner has upgraded the room for us, which was extremely nice of him. If you can, book the room with the terrace. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel has its own parking right next to it. If you don’t want to go anywhere in the evening, you can ask for dinner in the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super friendly staff, amazing view, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious dinner and breakfast!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hallo, Ouarzazate visitors, you have not to look for another accommodation if you find Dar Amoudou: here you find something exceptional - really heaven on the earth! No other hotel has such clean rooms and all facilities, such splendid view and fantastic people! We felt like king and queen - they tried to fulfill all our wishes. It was like we were the only one guest in all Dar and they cooked for us all the delicious Moroccan food and specialities we wished. YES, we would like to come again if we come next time to Ouarzazate. A big big “thank you” Mr. Ali and your wife!!!
Cons: No, I can really find nothing. Even the weather could not be better :-)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Ali was a super friendly and attentive host from the beginning. After a long journey by car he not only welcomed us with a cup of tea but also upgraded us to a beautiful suite. The room was very cozy, the balcony with a view was a dream and also the food (dinner + breakfast) was very delicious. All in all we really recommend staying here!
Cons: all good!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Manager was really nice and room was great.
Cons: Bit far from Ouarzazate center (40 min walk) but a taxi is only 7 dh per person.
Good 6.0
Pros: View from south-facing balcony was nice. Room was spacious and quiet.
Cons: I recommend to ask for softer set of pillows. Neighbourhood has not much to offer. If you going to have dinner in hotel, there's a set menu for 14€/person

Pros: Large room and ensuite which was well presented. Large pool and casual alfresco eating and lounge
Cons: We didnt realise you have to make a booking for dinner so couldnt get a meal at the accommodation We had to walk into the town as our driver had dropped us off. We were quite tired after after a couple of big days driving and sightseeing so would have preferred to have been able to eat in. It would have been nice to have been offered even a light snack. Coffee cups were cracked (breeding ground for bacteria).
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice spot, relaxing and cetral location
Cons: The facilities around the pool, for example chairs and tables where outdated
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very quiet Riad, very clean, heating in room. Very good breakfast and very friendly hosts.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hosts, lovely breakfast, very good location a nice evening meal as well. Nice local wine.
Cons: Wish we would have been there in the warmer months to use the pool!

Pros: The couple who run this place are very nice and keen to help you around. This place is their home and partially converted to a riad. This also means that for breakfast you sit around one table with the other guests, which is quite interesting.
Cons: I liked everything, but be aware that there are quite a few cats, so if you are allergic this might not be the be the best place to stay
Excellent 9.6
Pros: - Ideal location - Great host - Tasty and rich breakfast - Warm welcome - Nice terrace - Clean rooms - Great recommendations
Cons: -
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nathalie is a warm, friendly and welcoming host. Her Riad is compact but very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the Taourit Kasbah, where you can park your car for DH25 per night. The Riad is easy to find, so don't bother with the rather pushy "guides" who will offer to help you - for a fee. Property has A/C and no TV! Wifi coverage is mostly OK
Cons: I'm not a big fan of cats and there are at least 3 at the Riad that are very friendly. If you're allergic, definitely book somewhere else, otherwise it's not resally a problem. No air extraction from the bathroom (it has no external window) meant the bedroom became a bit smelly at times :-(.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very accommodating and helpful host. Easy overnight parking nearby.
Cons: A lot of construction in the alleys leading to the house.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Clean, good breakfast, helpful host/hostess.
Cons: WiFi very patchy upstairs in roof bedroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great host...very accommodating to my early departure. Made my taxi reservation and had an early breakfast prepared for me. The room was lovely and had a nice hot shower too. I look forward to another visit, but longer!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts were kind and hospitable. Loved the cats, the cleanliness, and coffee! Loved the terrace Room and the cat that served as alarm clock for breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved this place!!!! Would stay here again, and would recommend it to my family/friends! It was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but it was close to the Atlas Studios, and it's within the old Medina. There's lots of kitties around, too!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Natalie and Aziz were so kind and helpful.

Pros: The staff is great! Nicely decorated rooms with all you need for a short stay. Good breakfast buffet.
Cons: Not so easy to find at first. Call them they will indicate where to park and how to get to the accommodation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Extraordinary place, worth money, only neighbourhood is little poor
Cons: Interior
Excellent 10.0
Pros: They are really nice and good communication. The breakfast is rich. Nice rooms and good value for the money. We can recommend!
Cons: Can be a bit noisy during the day and mosque near by.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We were offered the apartment on the last floor facing the terrace. It was cosy and comfortable, well equipped. The girl at the reception was fantastic, she explained everything we were supposed to know and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The breakfast is good, the rooftop is Highly recommended, big parking space outside the Dar
Cons: the conditioner didn't work well till the night, so a little bit cold
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful. We were a group of 8 persons and arrived rather late, and nevertheless everything (paperwork, arranging some food from a friendly restaurant, which was delivered right to the riad, as well as the obligatory mint tea and everything else) was arranged very fast -- thanks a lot, it was a big pleasure after a long tiresome day. The area has a special atmosphere to it. The terrace is excellent.
Cons: The breakfast was a little scarce, but this is not a big problem. The stairs were a bit too steep for the elder members of our group. But these are minor issues.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent service, unexpected perfect breakfast, very good WiFi, clean, helpful and very friendly owner
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Super friendly guesthouse, simple but super clean with a roof terrace but dont expect any luxury. Excellent, lovely staff!
Cons: The guesthouse is situated in the middle of a very poor neighbourhood and it might feel wrong to be a tourist in such a quarter, especially for the locals who dont benefit from tourism.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and kind There's a nice room to play board games or read their collection of both travel and fiction books to relax and unwind Breakfast was delicious

Pros: Perfect place to stay in Ouarzazate. Very kind service and nice rooms. Decoration is traditional. We liked a lot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very kind service and great properly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was the best of our trip. Served in a breathtaking desert like lounge area. All fresh. The room breathes Moroccan luxury, in a super comfy big bed. As quiet as it can get overnight.
Cons: Nothing. The Hotel was sort of the attraction.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: good location, easy to find, plenty of parking place in front of the door.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Design of the exteriors and interiors is amazing! Staff very friendly and welcoming. If would travel back I’d would stay there again and again.
Good 7.0
Pros: The Riad was beautiful. The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast area was beautiful.
Cons: There was a hiccup with using credit card to pay for the hotel. Apparently the machine wasn’t working. Have cash or arrange for PayPal. The toilet ran all night. The bathroom had a strong bleach smell, but better than being dirty. We had to find a place to eat because we arrived too late for them to feed us (it was 830p). The town is quite dead.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very colorful and charming apartment. Very clean. Elaborate and good breakfast.
Cons: Maybe a brochure or pamflet with useful information such as the wifi code, sightseeing/eating out tips, ... would be handy. The arrows that are meant to lead you 'easily' to the location aren't very logically put out ... It's not easy to find.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Best place I have stayed during my Morocco trip
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great place in local style. Very comfortable, clean. Stuff is great and recommended us places for dinner and made reservations. We would stay here again for sure.
Cons: Small things but.. We arrived in the evening and door was closed, so we had to call and stuff was there in a minute. Usually we don’t have connection during vacation and that was an exception that we had it this time. The bell would solve it. It is said on the booking that check out till 8pm. In reality it’s 11am.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nora was the best host ever. Thank you for making us feel at home from the moment we arrived!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: An extremely comfortable home. Upon arrival the Host offered us an upgrade in a larger room at no additional cost. Excellent breakfast. Very recommended!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The whole studio is wonderfully decorated with so much taste. It is very traditional Moroccan style. The place is spacious. The whole area outside is quiet. The bathroom is super spacious. The breakfast is very good.
Cons: The lady was nice but a little too stressed and bossy too. We felt rushed. Maybe she just started to work here. The area where the riad is located is out of town, and because we arrived at night we felt a bit uncomfortable in the streets around. So we stayed in. It is a riad, not an appartement even if it feels like it is. So you will hear noise from the other bedrooms from the center of the house which is an open space .
Excellent 9.2
Pros: This is a beautiful place. It has a lot of class. 1 night is simply not enough. We would have definitely liked to stay longer. They have thought of everything, even including the free ride from the airport late at night. We arrived in the heat of the summer, when Ouarzazate is like a hot furnace. But they have AC in each bedroom, so, comfort all the way. Part of our group stayed in the "tent" on the roof. Unbelievably awesome! Highly recommendable. Wonderful Moroccan breakfast, served in a cozy room. Great coffee! The personnel is friendly, kind and professional.

Pros: Everything in this place was simply amazing - from being warmly greeted by the owner, to delicious dinner she cooked for our family. Rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to functional detail, everything was in excellent working condition. Yet it felt like visiting a relative at home - so many remarkable touches in this riad, which, as we understood, belong to the owner's great-grandparents. Views from the windows and rood terrace are breathtaking - so much worth the visit!!!
Cons: Finding may not be easy - riad is located centrally, yet off the main road. Once we called the riad, the owner helped us navigate to it - location is hidden from the main road, but this made it even more appealing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location and pretty terrace. Can't complain about anything. Value for money and would recommend.
Cons: Nothing.
Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast is excellent, more than we could eat. Very nice view of the valley and the kasbah
Cons: We found some hair in one of the pillows. Access is a little tricky but it's alright.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location. We were able to experience a bit the labyrinthe of a Morrocan neighborhood.
Cons: The lack of good hygiene in the establishment. In the fee price breakdown you will see they charge a cleaning fee for 20€, however I did not feel, smell nor ser it in the hotel. When you claim a cleaning fee, and I don't mind paying, it should be obvious. We had a hard time sleeping because the room we stayed in was not passable for the word "clean". There was a small bed for my child, we sat on it and smelled that the pillows were not washed and it smelled like they were in the closet for years, that old smell. We were disgusted because my daughter was supposed to sleep in it and they didn't even put clean covers on it. Also the carpets in the room were dirty and stained. Also, in the bathroom, my husband saw a bunch of hair strands from different guests ( due to the different color) hanging on the ceiling, we suppose women staying had their hair stuck on the ceiling while drying it and the hotel staff is not bothered to clean it. And the bath towels smelled like cigarettes. You enter the room and it is quite obvious that it heavily lacks cleaning. The breakfast was ok, there were viennoiserie, french pastries however the coffee was terrible. Also, in the room we stayed, there was a very weird sexual photo that we thought was inappropriate to hang in a hotel where children can stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great little find among the backstreets - quaint and comfortable rooms set upstairs over an open living area filled with books and trinkets. Jmia’a looked after us by giving us a choice of rooms, walking us to the restaurant we picked for dinner, providing a delicious breakfast and explaining to us a little about her life and history. Recommended.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely original house which has been in the same family for years. Delightful hostess who treated us like one of the family; we were there on New Year’s Eve and though there was nothing planned we ended up joining with the family in music and good cheer.
Cons: It was freezing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place was incredible. Very nice location, the room was big with very nice decoration. The breakfast was very reach. The personel was very kind and friendly. Amazing place to stay.
Cons: The bathroom needs some renovations.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The Riad is so beautiful... They also have a terrasse with a great view.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Djenna was wonderful and we loved to understand berber style, the rooms are lively and you hear the birds in the old kasbah immersed in loveliness

Pros: Public areas are nicely decorated. Located in the city center. Free parking directly in front of the hotel.
Cons: Quite old suites. Private patio made me feel like in a prison - no decoration, just walls. If you travel independent and all the bus groups were at the breakfast buffet earlier than you, it looks like after an invasion of locusts - at least five waiters are standig around, but no one is cleaning up the mess. Then you are almost alone in the hotel at least!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The overall experience was great. Our group received complimentary upgrades as they happened to be available. The rooms and facilities were superb and the hotel is simply gorgeous. If we were to ever Ourzazate again, would not hesitate to stay here again.
Cons: Might have been a bit on the expensive side, but it is expected as it is a proper hotel with excellent facilities.

Pros: Generally good service, large hotel with a lot of facilities
Cons: Room rate and f&b was somewhat overpriced when compared to similar properties in the city

Pros: Very nice location, close to the restaurants, shops and also Taourirt Kasbah . Staff was great and very helpful. From the inside with a small pool in the middle this place looks amazing.
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast was not included in the price but they said that we can have for free.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location was convenient.
Cons: Not good enough for the price. Firstly, the room wasn't really clean. The cushions on the bed were covered with dust, the sheets have some stains on them and all the towels have stains on them. Being charged at around £60 per night, we do expect them to pay more efforts to provide us a clean room with clean linens. The floor and carpets were dirty as well. A member of staff asked us if we would like them to clean the room and we did ask them to clean the floor but they didn't. Secondly, most of the staff are nice, for examples, the usual staff at the reception. However, the impression was sadly ruined by one member of staff. My husband and I were having breakfast one morning, we were talking to each other happily, and then all of a sudden a member of staff in a hoodie came to us and interrupted our conversation. Since his French was very limited and he doesn't speak English either, we guessed from his broken French and body language that he was mainly saying we shouldn't talk to each other and look at each other like that. It's something we should only do "à la maison". I found it truly absurd and I was really offended by this bs. I respect that there are conservative people in this country, but we weren't doing anything outrageous at all. We didn't do any PDA and we weren't even holding each other's hands. All we did was talking to each other with eye contact and smiling like any normal couple would do. He was impolite to interrupt our breakfast like that to tell us off when we were doing nothing wrong in any sense.
Good 7.0
Pros: The stuff is very nice and help a lot. The place is at great location, just 2 minutes walk from the central street and the suk, everything is open until late and it's nice for small city. Riad located at quiet place with nice places to chill inside and outside riad.
Cons: The rooms are old but very clean. Need to change the towels, clean but very old.

Pros: Good location, nice and clean room. Warm wellcome by hotel staff.
Cons: Nothing in particular. There is no lift in this hotel, but that did not bother me.
Okay 5.8
Cons: Location was horrible. There is nothing in the location of hotel so you have to eat there. Going out into town was awkward and there was really nothing there. Also, you must pay in cash for stay-surprise to us.

Pros: Just loved it! Strange, but I guess you will enjoy it or not.
Cons: Food was not great, but still liked the whole idea and fun place.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Omar was really wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and he was more than helpful with every request we made. The doorman was also very lovely and couldn’t be more help - service levels here were exceptional. The hotel itself is set in a lovely quiet location, nicely decorated rooms with a pool for sunbathing & complimentary breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was superb! Some of the best food on our trip!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: It was the first stop after 3 days in the desert so it was simply amazing to have a hot water shower and a heater in the room. The heater worked great - we loved it. Really heated up our room in the cold Moroccan nights (around 2 degrees) Dinner and breakfast was great. We really liked it.
Cons: the hot water could have been warmer/ didn’t get very hot and the showerhead didn’t fit perfectly into the fittings- so you had to hold the shower head on your hand while showering. For a price of 200€/night this should all work nicely.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room Alexander the Great is everything you would expect, spacious room with super comfy bad, huge bathroom with columned bath tub, golden ornaments. A little bit kitsch, but definitely high level of craftsmanship throughout the whole hotel. Rich breakfast and super nice staff
Cons: Perfectly happy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Boutique hotel. amazing decor. Great breakfast.. we had dinner there which was also very good. Albert, the owner speaks perfect english (among other languages) gave us a great welcome and took the time to have a chat. quiet room and comfortable king bed
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the decor, the pool and out door area, and mostly we loved the staff! They were kind and welcoming, and very accommodating, too.
Cons: The lunch and dinner prices were quite high for the area at €30. We chose to eat out in town.
Good 6.7
Pros: Clean, good reception. We had an hamburguer with potatos that was really good. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Low water pressure in the shower. One of the masseuses was not skilled, seemed like she was not trained. The restaurant and basically the whole hotel closes at 23h. We had to pay the massages in cash. The common areas are not used in the beat way possible.

Pros: Yes very well done and comfortable
Cons: The air cone was not working. The tv problematic
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Location
Cons: It's funny when you read the reviews. Says the lady at reception is cold. She is. Say the place is run down. It is. You would think they would read the comments and make changes. I'll offer a few. Clean the pool, lots of bugs. Replace the missing tiles in the bottom of the pool. Make up the rooms. We stayed two nights and the hotel which was almost a ghost town and there was still zero maid service provided. Be responsive, be cordial. Sincerely - Your guest
