Loud sound from street
Need to improve the bed cover Quality
They block the cost of the room on my card, and ask me to pay again (by card). I didn't understood why, but generated some problems with using the money.
The staff was friendly, the facilities were really nice, good access for disabled people (e.g. wheelchairs), the location within the city was also very good, and where else can we find places at the price we paid for 3 people? In Europe you can't, unless you pay only for the bed in dorms! Located close to the old town, at walking distance. The possibility to park right in front is also very convenient! The decorations and environment inside the Hotel is also very nice and original, filled with vintage posters and more modern posters too! Very good Hotel to stay in, I highly recommend!
Some critics for improvement: the breakfast was also good, although considering this is Portugal, the value for the money paid can be improved, considering there are cafes and pastries in the neighborhood, only 100 m away. Another minor thing: the Hotel has spikes to prevent pidgeons from settling on top of the windows and the front doors, except the exact middle point of the front door entrance. It should place some spikes there also, for consistency. More off-topic, being a local Portuguese citizen, I was a bit frustrated at the lack of sense in the city of Braga concerning the placement of many tunnels within the city roads. Some of them just make you go underground to comeout at the same street afterwards. If you're not used to the city, you'll easily hesitate and make mistakes. Beware that the hotel is located right at the exit of one of these tunnels, as you are forced to go through the tunnel comming from south, which means that when you come out, you won't see the Hotel it's already behind you. The GPS may trick you. If you come through the tunnel, you'll have to keep going straight until you can reverse track (there will be a roundabout), and then come back, and reverse again at the Hotel's intersection to park the car in front. This was a bit confusing, even frustrating. The Hotel is not to blame for it, it's how the city was built. Study a bit the roads by Google maps satellite and street views before making your way, it may save you some time.
