The lights and microwave did not work in the room, no coffeemaker, hard to get the key in the door, very ugly decor, room smelled, very cheap and unpleasant soap, uncomfortable bed, pillows, ugly bedspread. I maybe would have spent $---- on this room. Not $---
Checking out the next morning Everything
location place was a dump - mold in shower tiles - strange odor - toilet seat was wet - my feet stuck to carpet and floor
Dirty, sheets had live bugs, cob webs, shampoo spill in bathroom . Smelled and bed very uncomfortable.
It was close to where we had to be! The room smell, and the lock on the door was not safe and secure! The water did not stay hot. The room was very out dated! The sheets was not clean. My wife went out and bought blankets and cleaning supply! The TV did not have anything for my daughter!
Nothing!!! It was the most disgusting room and place I have ever stayed!!! There were dead bugs in the floor, mold all over the shower, the toilet was plugged!! This place should be shut down!! Absolutely disgusting!!
It was available Outdated. Not many amenities. Just needed a place to sleep for a few hours, so it worked for us.
Everything... Nothing NOT to like. VERY close to St. Joseph beach and all the amenities around the area. VERY clean room. We were able to check in early AND check out LATE!!!!. They used texting to help coordinate the process. This hotel has rooms with LOFT options!! LOFT!! I think it's a great idea to be honest. (our room did not have a loft - our room was HUUGGEE) The desk staff were VERY nice and the cleaning ladies on our floor (3rd VERY NICE) and warm to our son - which is important to me! I will stay here again when we return to St. Joseph/Stevensville - the place is second to none After the breakfast closed at 10am sharp the saturday we were checking out (8/15/15); the breakfast lady was cleaning up.. no problem, she has to do her job. I asked if she could unlock the juice machine so I can get my 6yr old son some apple juice (hotel cup, not a LARGE cup). She was short and tone was not nice... no, my manager said when it's closed.. it's closed.. I cannot open it..period.. I was like.. wow.. I said.. just for two seconds, he's six not 25.. it's like 9 oz of juice in a cup.. no, I cannot open it.. my manager said no.
Room and overall facilities appeared recently renovated and nice overall. There were two easily accessible power outlets on the each bedside lamp, I haven't seen this often and found it very helpful. In-room microwave and mini fridge were a huge plus. Hotel is located across the street from Meijers so its easy to go pick up any little essentials you forgot to bring along. The girls at the front desk were very helpful in recommending a place for dinner. (Grand Mere Inn was great, try the lake perch!) Elevator made a weird noise every time it arrived at our floor. The door to our room stuck and needed a lot of extra force to open and close. Avoid the scrambled "eggs" and "gravy" on the breakfast bar, they're not good at all. Room rate was pretty high for what you got but was less than most comparable properties in the area.
The breakfast was tidy and well stocked The staleness of the facility. Wallpaper is unappealing and peeling, mirror in room was cracked so they piled a microwave and a mini cube fridge on top of dresser to hide it. This is NOT a long term stay facility and our room was NOT a suite. Overall it seemed like a $79 dollar room for $124
The sleep itself was restful. The air conditioner was quiet. Being ripped in the chair. Top cover was stained. I asked for a room where were allowed and the cover at the end of the bed had dog here or cat hair all over it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. When we left the bill said $79 paid. My credit card was charged $117 through Priceline.
Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was easy to find Breakfast was great and we didn't plan on staying so it was very nice that we were given toothbrushes and paste I think it was too expensive especially when I found out the guest before me only paid $80.00 to stay there and I paid over $100.00!!! I will NEVER use kayak.com again
Friendly staff, good location, greal pool and jacuzzi Rooms need some remodeling. Bathroom fan was dusty
Price Air conditioner loud. Some of the people loud with talking and car sirens at 2AM.
easy to deal with. No hidden surprises. The room was clean and free of smells. Affordability was the best. Overall very pleased and will use this facility again. The only thing was the building entrances were trashy. A cigarette butt receptacle would help and have someone pick up trash at the entrances..
Not far from silver beach The room was disgusting with mold, dead bugs, dirty showers and floors, stain on comforters, dirty Windows...the list goes on the room was dirty gross. At check in the attendant was please to tell me we had been upgraded to a nice family suite like it was a good thing. Turns out it's just two adjacent rooms m, one with beds one without having a love seat, chair, desk, "kitchenette". The photos online of the facilities are all faked. The repair and upkeep of the room was terrible, mismatch paint splotches on the walls, wall cutouts left partially open, doors were unpainted or not stained. Mostly you get the feel the owners/management have a low standard of living and cleanliness to be offering accommodations.
staff was very good pool and surrounding area was very clean maid service was excellent they need more help on the grounds, there were many cigarette butts where we parked are car. some flower beds needed watering. a slight Oder at one entrance to the enclosed rooms
Staff was friendly The above photo most definitely does NOT represent this motel.
The area has a ton of good food places (cracker barrel included), it's not to far off from Benton Harbor along with a lot of nice little tourist attraction shops. The room was really clean and the staff was really friendly. There really wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy from this place I really only didn't enjoy the channel selection from the "premium" channels on it. There was only about 10 or so and half of them were sports (not that it's bad or anything) but still a variety would have been nice.
Nice price Clean rooms with easy access Lots of good restaurants Washing machines in disrepair Breakfast selection was pretty small
It was close to the Chalets on the Lake. Our friends were staying there.
We attended the PGA event at Harbor Shores. The desk clerk helped us with directions to the bus shuttle. Her route was much better than the GPS. Thanks!

It was in a good location It had a work in progress look. It had an unfinished run down look
