The hotel was great, but finding it was not easy as it is not registered on the satnav. The single beds were a little on the small side and my bed was not level.
I loved the modern design of the rooms. The breakfast was also amazing with everything I want: good yogurt; cereals; eggs; good bread; good orange juice; etc.The room’s isolation of sound was perfect. We do not listen any noise from the corridor and outside. If you have a car and you don’t mind to travel about 10-15Kms this is the best option to stay in Munich.
Hotel is greate Breakfirst could be better
The hotel was excellent and so was the staff and service. I found the room very clean and comfortable, and the presence of a kitchen (very well equipped, I could cook several times and feel at home) and of a DVD/Divx/USB stick/CD player attached to the tv made evenings after work very pleasant. Internet is free (although on a cable, but it was conveniently provided by the reception). I was so happy in this hotel that I cancelled my reservation in another hotel in a better location and returned there. The location is poor, but very convenient if you have to visit eads. A shuttle bus connects to the Ottobrunn station, but if you want to go out in the evening you have to take into account paying for the taxi from the Ottobrunn Schnellbahn to the Hotel (about 10 eur).
One of the best hotel, which I ever been and I Travel often.
It is very nice hotel and affordable. Internet is free. Internet is free but just wired.
The hotel is pretty new, breakfast is also very good and the service very polite. It has not a transport service to Munich, so Taxi are needed and they are pretty expensive in Germany.
I liked the room - just the right size. Also liked the small kitchen devices - quite useful The hotel is brand new and some small details are to be improved - like a robe to allow people to go to the sauna...
Very modern, 3star hotel of 5star quality
Thanks! The fine hotel new, with the affable personnel, with all conveniences, a good breakfast, a sauna and fitness of halls!
Good overnight stay, not far from moterway and easy to find. Warm comfortable spacious rooms. Lovel Italian restaurant attached as an alternative to eating in the hotel. Wonderful selection at breakfast. Breakfast in the conservatory very hot despite being 0 degrees outside. There is an option of eating in the dining room.
Rooms were clean with good facilities. No bar or resteurant. However, there are bars and resteurants near by.
Very good hotel (real value for money), in the soroundings of München, close to the A8 motorway, free parking at the hotel. The breakfast price (15 € / person) is very high.
large room and bathroom, clean, close to the autobahn exit, quiet area, close to the city (Muenchen) very epensive brekfast (15 Euro)
The location of the hotel is superb: 5 minutes to the train station, 30 minutes to the center of Munich. We liked the design of the hotel and restaurant, the food there was also excellent. There were some problems with room clening. If you don't allow the staff inside before 10 a.m., your room will be uncleaned in the evening
the rooms are very clean and large, the staff of the hotel is very efficient, good location, close to Munchen. wifi internet should bue free and the breakfast included, a litle bit noise because of traffic
the recepsionist at night was so rude
Awesome morning breakfast - exceptional friendly staff and very helpful - Great location away from Munich's City center but nearby train station for easy access to anywhere you want to go in the Munich area They charge us a lot more money for their third night stay that we hadn't planned on staying because of Oktoberfest
excellent breakfast clean quiet rooms
Th estff preformance and the quietinece of the area. The price of the internet service.
We really appreciated the kind and prompt service, and the wonderful breakfast.
Very friendly & heplful staff. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.
idid injoi at holiday inn unterhaching vary good staf and qut location with larj rom but the ander grawnd barking is smol saiz
We stayed at Holiday Inn Munchen Unterhaching for 3 nights during the first weekend of Oktoberfest 2010. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10min walk from the station, and the station is about a 20min train ride from the city centre. The hotel was a bit far away to get to, especially as the train that services the area is very infrequent - it only comes every 15 to 20mins. The price for breakfast was also very expensive - 18 euros per person. Much cheaper to grab a bite to eat from the bakery across the street from the hotel!
good location and perfect staff and service... The hotel is not small but very comfortable. I think i will advice it to everyone is enough far from the center, but easy to reach using s-bahn
The location and food. 1-The poor response and lasieness of staff. 2-The price of services provided by the hotel i.e internet services and food.
The room, the breakfast, the ambience Nothing in paricular
Please write at least 15 words the food
The room is spacious and clean. The decor is stylish. Free Wi-Fi. The location is convenient with a 5-minute walk to train station and another 20-minute train ride to city centre. A few stops to OST Bahn where you can connect S1 or S8 to the Airport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A supermarket is just at your footstep.
The location was very convenient to me. Visited Campeon business park and this hotel was just 1 S-bahn stop from there, so there was good travel connection. The surroundings of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, and there is a rewe supermarket next to hotel building. Services in the hotel are in high standard.
Great location, clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast There was an issue with a key card not working leading to a member of the party sleeping in reception and some confusion resulting in the party taking 13 rooms rather than the required 12 but I don't blame the staff entirely. They were much better at English than I am at German!
Good clean room, wifi in the room. The staff was helpful with maps. Underground free parking for guests. Public transport into the city is easy but we used car instead. Its not actually in Munich, but a suburb city, but very close. 10 euro per person breakfast is expensive.
It is a modern hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Nicely situated, not far from good and silent walking surroundings. In average the personnel was friendly and polite. I needed to be at Campeon, and this Hotel - one S-bahn stop away - is fairly situated for that purpose. There was no attention payed to visitors during breakfast. My room had a bit of a dangerous ceiling (diagonal through the room).
Very efficient and functional. wlan was functional and fast. Free garage so no parking problems. Would definately go back.
Nice confortable rooms, free internet
The location is a little far away the city centre, however in a quiet but safe distrcit. The tram station is within 10-minute-walk max.
Comfortable, Clean rooms, modern decor and facilities. Breakfast is expensive.
it has a convenient store down stair. they didn't have the room for us. we have to change room three times. the staff was not accomodating and there is no apology.
Good service from the personnel. Very clean. Well equipped room. Wlan signal was weak in my room (4th floor)
Cleaness and breakfast
Functionality and effcient service prepared to meet business client expectations Access to internet cloud be better
The hotel staff was nice and helped us with the metro however they did not have any city maps. It was only about 30/40 minutes on the bus/train to get downtown so not bad. They had an awesome breakfast layout for free. They offered a computer to use the internet but there was only one. The room was very nice and stylish. They charged us for things we did not drink in the minibar. When we booked they forced us to wire the money and could not pay by credit card. I feel we were treated a little different because we were younger.
Excellent breakfast with personally cooked hot breakfast. Excellent choice of things to eat.
Nice staff, clean Rooms, incredible breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who are traveling to Münich and doesn´t mind to stay a few miles outside the city centre. They have no wireless internet unless you´re already a customer at the german T-mobile company. They do have one computer with internet that all the guests can use for free.
The staff were really really nice especially since we checked in and arrived back really late on both of the nights we stayed there. Breakfast was also good, when it ended they didn't immediately put everything away so if you were a little late there was still a chance to get something. The four person room was a little cramped and one double bed was a pull out sofa/couch thing that was perhaps a little too small for two adults.
Great location with a bus stop directly across the street and a very short walk (500m) to several very nice resturants.
We had to leave at 6:45 am due to an early flight from Munich, and were not able to get anything to eat prior to leaving.
We loved the quaint little town out of the city spotlights. The staff were so helpful and most spoke English. The restaurant was on site and excellent. The breakfasts were also very good. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable place to stay. Also Aying was on the S-bahn so we had easy access to Munich.
Very clean well furnished hotel with character, very pleasant staff.
Beautifully decorated hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Excellent cuisine. Easy train connection to centre of Munich
Friendly people, great dining, nice sauna, peaceful environment.
Very fine hotel and the coffe at the breakfast now it's very good.
We had a very nice room and opposite the hotel they also have an excellent brewery serving the local beer with superb food and very well known in Munich as a place to eat. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts I have had and I travel for work every week and stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. It also has a very family friendly.
This was an amazing place. It was charming, room was beautiful and huge. Probably the best hotel experience ever including cost. Would prefer non smoking every where especially dining room.
I liked the breakfast dining room and the breakfast menu was quite good. The atmosphere overall is very nice, warm, family friendly. It is quite isolated. It does not operate a restaurant (only breakfast) so you cant get a coffee or anything else during the day.
Very clean and nice rooms. The wireless internet did not work and staff could not assist with the problem. They didn't seem to care that it didn't work. Additionally, we needed to catch a train early in the morning and although food was already set out for breakfast, we were not allowed to have any due to being outside of published breakfast hours. Rude and indifferent sums up the staff experience.
Clean rooms, and convienient location None
staff was very pleasant and helpful; best breakfast in our entire three weeks in Europe;very convenient to getting downtown Munich by public transportation.
Nice quiet area, 10 min walk from station which is only 15 mins on train from Ostbanhof. Brilliant breakfast and very friendly staff.
Breakfast was extensive, anything you could imagine! Too far from S-Bahn with infrequent bus service. Front desk only open until 10 pm.
high standard Not English speaking
clean.nice area, away from the Octoberfest crowds. king beds were two singles not joined just pushed together.only 2 staff members were friendly.what was advertised on kayak was confusing at best had to pay more once we saw the single bed in the room.
Staff very friendly, nicely decorated, very clean and excellent breakfast
The hotel is well maintained, comfortable and very clean.
Nice room to sleep in. Restaurent near by. Near the Autobahn A9. No
The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The staff were really helpful and although only one lady spoke some english, we managed to communicate! The hotel was really central for touring the area of Munich. We'd highly recommend the hotel, especially if you have your own car.
The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. The room was spotless and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!
Most exellent hotel especially for adult couples, exellent service, peaceful, good position. everything was just perfect.
Nice hotel, friendly staff.Breakfast was included and was very good.Next time I will stay again.
The setting and location were good. The staff - those who we met - were friendly. Breakfast was good. We were ideally suited for train travel in to Munich each morning. The journey was excellent and cheap. There were no bedside tables nor reading lights in our room. Just a table under the window. Water was cold on the first night, but corrected quickly. The staff (one woman) left during the early evening leaving us alone in the hotel which we felt was strange. This was a three star hotel and we expected more.
Very comfortable accommodation, friendly staff in a quiet location. Short walk to S Bahn station, 20 minute ride into city centre.
nice comfortable room, really friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, i would highly recommend
Pleasant ambiance with rustic architecture Booked 3 double bed rooms, not available on arrival
Nice hotel with traditions and quite placement.
Power plug availability in room poor. Extra fair for Wifi.
Although I paid for included breakfast I should pay extra 10 € because the hotel staff was not able to find the reservation details (and I did not print them...)
Very efficient breakfast service and check-in / check-out Sometimes slow service during evening meals, especially when there are large groups also present resulting in less attention given to solo guests
Very friendly well appointed main building. The guesthouse bldg. Where are room was located was not all that impressive. The price on the room plackard stated 79 Euros for a double, we were charged 119 Euros because of Octoberfest. I believe that given the location they may have been charging too much.
Excellent breakfast and very very charming girl on the reception the hotel have not one aperitiv bar for drink
Superb dining experience, thanks to maitre d' recommendations. Excellent service throughout. Easy to find, situated in beautiful countryside. Quaint and charming. Large room.
Very typical restaurant with pleasant welcome A little bit noisely (Road in front of Hotel & Boiler under the roof)
Good position for ISPO fair visitors, friendly staff, very good kitchen no
Frindly, knowledgable staff. Young lady at front desk spoke perfect English. Room was very clean and comfortable. We had lots of luggage and it was heavy hauling it up the stairs but we knew ahead of time there was no elevator. It may be a good idea to ask potential guests if they prefer a room on the ground floor for that reason.
Peaceful environment, easy reachible. Traditional Bavarian arhitecture. Every time I came the restoran was overbooked :)
Excellent breakfast - wide choice the extras you had to pay for parking which was charged per person but we only had one car.
As I did not speak German, it was difficult to understand the staff, as well the menu.
Location convenient to where I was working. Big, airy bathroom. My room faced the road, and the road/tyre noise of cars passing by was loud. This was particularly hard to ignore in the late evening and early morning. The noise was much reduced with windows closed, but still...
Size of the room
large rooms on the 1st floor
Hotel Grasbrunner hada very nice location in a small town outside of Munich. It proved all the ammenities, It is setup for the budget minded. stairs, stairs, stairs
breakfast church bell ringing all night, every 15 min ...
Very nice family room and brekfast was very good!!
the owners are very friendly and helpful. they were also very informative and spoke english well, their dining area is very quaint and welcoming.
Good breakfast, clean room, cute porch. Staff speaks no english, very hard to communicate. Hotel is a 40euro cab ride away from Munich. There is a bell tower that chimes every hour.
Lovely hotel and cleanliness of room and bath . morning breakfasts were very good and pleantiful. I'm a Sr. citizen and having to carry my luggage two flights upstairs to my room was very difficult. I was also disappointed that no one spoke any English (not even a little bit). Communicating was a little difficult.
Ok, but no more I asked for a baby bed to be set up, but this had not been done.
Large, convinient room. Good, typical Bavarian food in restaurant. Excellent breakfast buffé. Good service with a little bit extra... we got painted eggs for breakfast on Eastern.
Ottmar Schüller was an excellent host - he exceeded our expectations as did the tasty breakfasts - especially the omelette! The hotel was an excellent base as we also wanted to do day-trips to Neuschwanstein, the Bavarian Alps and northern Austria and not just stay in Munich. S-Bahn is several minutes away and car-parking is free. If you want to avoid the hotel chains for the masses then this is it.
The hotel host was very helpful with information and his english was good. He always made a point of asking each day if we needed any help or information and was very friendly, Incidently, the breakfast each morning was complimentary and had a great choice plus drinks and fruit are made available with carrier bags for setting out on daily trips. Bottles of mineral water (again complimentary) along with tea/coffee facilities were in the bedrooms as well as a mini-bar.
The breakfast was fantastic No very happy - we do realise Munich is an expensive place to stay
The Shuller family were warm and inviting. Always happy to help with travel and touring plans. Ths was my second visist and would return time and again.
Friendly service, quiet place (while still having excellent public transport service to city centre). Bathroom was a bit small, soundproofing from other rooms could be better.
Very good breakfast. No lobby. From 10.00 a.m. the hotel is closed: you need key to enter.
Information show free internet, actually it is a charged WLAN. Far from city center - if not for Okotoberfest, I will not choose it.
