The restaurant was good (although they acted like they wouldn't have a table for me at first without a reservation), the hot tub and pool were nice enough, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was nice to have, the kitchenette was a nice addition, and it was quiet. The gym had a surprising amount of gear for a hotel gym.
For the price compared to other local hotels I expected a nicer place. It was nice enough but it was a little run down/not updated in the room. There were a couple areas of damage in the pool that should have been updated. The gym was nice but it looked like there were mouse droppings along the edge of the wall. I didn't get super close to it so I can't be sure, but regardless it needed a good vacuum. Also, when I arrived they said that my room wasn't ready and gave me a free drink in the restaurant while I filled out the check in paper. I was waiting for quite a while there and they didn't come for me so I checked in at the desk when my room would be available. They said that it was available and then proceeded to check me in. It seemed that they were trying to make it a fancy check in by giving free drinks at check in, but I just wanted to get to my room after a long day of travel. This was a delay in the check in process that I didn't appreciate. Setting up the taxi to/from the airport was nice but when I first arrived the driver wasn't there for about 15 minutes and it made me nervous that I didn't actually have a ride to the hotel.
Very much appreciated the help with booking a ticket for the parliament tour.
I was typing on a mini iPad4 and if you've ever had the displeasure of doing so you'll know what I mean. Due to a typo they expected me on the 25/09 when it should have been the 27/09. The staff worked it out and everyone was happy. Thanks y'all.
The WiFi was a little unstable. I was watching minis and docs on my iPad and it would cut out on me. No big deal though as I've learned to think on my feet and adapt accordingly.
Location was tremendous to get around the city and see the sights, and sample the nightlife.
The spa wasn’t as impressive as it appeared in the photos, although it’s a useful addition to the property and I used it every day.
Perfect location, comfortable atmosphere, good service.
