Only had smoking rooms available
Staff, cleanliness, and easy access to nearby attractions. NA
Easy to find. Clos to location visiting. Truck drivers sitting out front drinking beer. Made us very uncomfortable.
Liked the location it was close to most of our destinations. Breakfast was great. Enjoyed the hot tub. In our room we had a couple issues with crickets in the room. Which was kind of unappealing don't know how they would have got in the room on second floor. Also the shower head had a leak and would spray the roof. Other than those two minor things over all it was decent for the price.
The staff really made my stay awsome, they were beyond polite and really focused on customer satisfaction. From management down to house keeping they made an effort to greet with a smile and ask if there was anything that they could do to make the stay better. The rooms were clean and modern. All in all a really great experience. The only complaint was that there was no literature on the local businesses in the area that were guest friendly. Ie restaurants but that was quickly rectified by google. And that for some reason i was never able to connect to their wifi but that may have been operator error seeing as I did not address this to the staff.
Hard to get find, get you. Once moved in, locked out for over a half an hour, as no one had access to any sort of master keys. Had to wait around until a night shift gal came in, and then it was another half hour to get it fixed. Make sure you bring some slippers, as you, for sure do not not sent to walk on the "variety" battlefield Bare footed. Cost more than the Hilton, and was one of the worst around! Would never consider staying there again. Sorry for the honesty!
Newer construction so the hotel was decently appointed and clean. The evening staff. Despite having checked in earlier in the day we were refused keys despite pointing out my signed check in form along with ID and payment method. It took nearly a half hour to convince her to give us keys to go to the room.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice breakfast selection and free WiFi. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The pillows were too firm and made our necks sore, but otherwise the bed was comfortable.
Cleanliness and quietness. Our son-in-law has brain and spine cancer and been in and out of the hospital since last February and we live in Oklahoma. We have been down many times in the last 10 months and were very tired and needed a good nights rest, No. We stay in LQ often.
Could choose better food in breakfast area

Comfortable room, location was perfect for our visit. Our check-in front desk clerk was awesome - kind, greeted us immediately and assisted us promptly! Room/maid service was kind and did a very good job also.
Clean Breakfast items
The hotel had a very efficient check in process. Staff were friendly and welcoming to me checking in alone with two young children. The casual restaurant in the hotel had good food for the price. The room was clean and functional, but some of the touches in structure of the room felt industrial. The extra lock on the door didn't work as well. It was not the right size for the bulb of the locking mechanism.
I like that this place was minutes from the airport. They have monitors everywhere telling you flight status. The rooms are spacious, and modern/newly remodeled. Place was affordable... Was only $134/night compared to others near the airport were asking $175-250/night. There isn't any signs at the airport that point you to Hyatt Regency only to Grand Hyatt which are two different places. We flew American Airlines and got off at Terminal D at DFW and the best thing I can advise is walk to Grand Hyatt then make a left to go outside, and the Hyatt service guy will call a Hyatt shuttle to get you to the Regency (takes 5min). Lastly don't order room service late night unless you're willing to dish out $$$. The fine print on the bottom of the menu says they charge you 21% service fee and tax/gratituity, so when the guy comes DO NOT TIP again like we did. They're getting twice the tip.
Great service, room was nice, excellent steakhouse..service at steakhouse excellent and host is outstanding and great sense of humor..would come back just bc of him Snack items in lobby coffee shop very overpriced..4 dollars for little bag fruit chews..should be 1.5, chips etc were all overpriced
Efficient staff, all expected amentities available and excellent food options available! Nothing
Free shuttle to and from airport.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Only issue I had was that I filled out my breakfast order form for in room service. I hung it outsider my door before 12am liked it said and it was never picked up. I was in a rush that morning and it would have been great to eat breakfast in my room. Mister Gs is excellent. A hidden gem I'd say My room service tag was never picked up
Our flight was canceled and bags lost, and it was after before we got to the hotel. Staff was super helpful to get us some basic items for the night and get us checked in. Great service and super clean rooms!
Good food Bathroom too small, charged for bottle water, too expensive for level of hotel other than airport location
Pros- I've come to expect a certain level of cleanliness and comfort with Hyatt, and this location didn't disappoint. The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. The A/C was great, the room was sufficiently cool when we wanted to sleep, and warmed up quickly once we turned it off. At about 9am there was a very loud group outside our door, the walls are a bit thin and sound travels easily.
convenient next to airport, very efficient front desk staff, wonderfully clean and furnished rooms.
table with combs, razors, etc for stranded passengers room by elevator
The hotel largely serves business travelers who are stuck at DFW airport due to problems with flights. For this reason, the hotel serves an important need. However, it is very overpriced. There was a dead roach in my room.
Everything was great except the valet took forever & they almost had our car lost.
Not in Sundance Square as advertised
As always our stay was very satisfying. We love this hotel and it's amenities. The staff are excellent and the guest services, pool, bars and restaurants top notch. Though all of this satisfaction does not come for free. We look forward to our next stay in September. If you are a select guest member make sure to book your stay directly with the hotel. If you book through a third party you cannot cancel your reservation or receive credit for your stay.
Cleanliness, location, and comfort Concierge staff were good, not great. Hotel was too crowded and loud.
The hotel was clean, beautiful and very relaxing. Loved the beautiful well keep grounds around the hotel. Overall my family and I loved it. My kids didn't want to leave! That I booked a double but only got a single room. But was brought a roll out for my other son.
Hotel was very quiet , relaxing and peaceful. staff was wonderful!! Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
The room was as expected. The check-in process took 30 minutes. I was the only person checking in. The front desk told me that a computer back-up was taking place and that I would need to wait 10 or 15 minutes. I asked if there was any alternative and was told "no". The delay extended out to more than 25 minutes. A call was made to someone to help speed up the process, but they never answered. I just stood at the desk the entire time. It was my own choice to plan a schedule that was so packed I would have an abbreviated sleep that night, but waiting that long is unacceptable. If a competing hotel was nearby, I would have left and dealt later with a refund. I will not return.
Pretty much everything in and around the Marriott DFW was impressive,I would diffinetly recommend this location to family and friends. Just wish the rooms had either a mini fridge or microwave....but other than that it was all very nice.
The only thing that was convenient about this hotel is where it's located. Beds uncomfortable, switched rooms, still terrible. First room, our toilet wasn't working.
I liked being back from roads. I liked that there were cows you can see in adjacent pasture Pool and hot tub were nice. Paying 15 extra for wifi
The bed was comfortable, staff was very helpful and it was very clean.
This hotel is next to the Texas Speedway. They had shuttles back and forth to the track. It was great!
I stayed for the November nascar race. Friendly, very helpful staff. The people make the place feel welcoming. Loved the close proximity to the track. A short 1.5 +\- mile walk or you could take the shuttle service (golf carts) to the track. Faster to walk back after the event due to the amount of guests waiting to take the return carts. Very clean rooms thanks in part to a no smoking policy. The grounds are very well kept. Real nice comfortable atmosphere. I've stayed other Marriott hotels before and have always enjoyed my stay. No mini fridge in the room. They could use more vending and ice machines on all the floors. The choices of food were limited and not always available after/before a certain time. The food I did get was good. Continental breakfast would have been nice. This place does sit out away from everything. This is a good thing if you are golfing or attending an evet at the hotel or at the speedway and don't want to venture out but if you do want to go check things out have a gps device or a good navigator next to you. Texas is BIG. They needed to do a little wasp control. They had nests around the building which made it interesting. Free in room internet is pretty much the standard at most places. This ( like most things) was an extra charge if you wanted it, however it was free if down in the lobby area). Overall, these were minor issues and wouldn't stop me from going back. I do Wish I would have booked direct as the price would have been better than the 3rd party price booking.
The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast seemed overpriced.
Right next to convention center Rooms are sorely in need of renovation. There was a notice in the room saying they were in the process of updating, but I the price paid was not worth what I got considering the age of the room.
I enjoyed the room service. The spa was so good that I had three services done. I only had trouble because they didn't recieve the booking from bookings.com. They fit me in because they were very nice. I would like to have an appology from booking.com.
stayed in 521. rooms show their use and age. large TV in front of dresser mirror; mirror is now useless - get rid of it. bathtub drain needs to be cleaned out - doesn't drain easily. hotel shuttle doesn't take you to cultural district or stockyard area - not very useful. cleaners and rest of staff are friendly. could use a concierge who can give knowledgeable suggestions for restaurants - a handout sheet doesn't quite cut it.
Location is perfect for date night! Sun dance square is next door!
I thought it was a very cozy hotel. Very good location as we stayed there overnight after going to see Cinderella at Bass Hall. Very nice food options around the area and the accommodations were nice.
Staff were 'Texas-friendly' and had helpful tips for the out-of-towner. The hotel is well located in downtown Fort Worth and very easy to use. It is not so much a problem for the FW Hilton rather Fort Worth downtown is quiet on a Sunday and public transport not a strong feature of the city. Visitors should plan for private car use (hire) and parking costs factored in their travel plans.
Historic, yet updated hotel in awesome Downtown location. The price is considerably better than other comparable 4 star downtown hotels. Clean, easy check in, fast valet.
Homely environment. Very pleasing staff always there to help you.Meals were served without undue delay. The rooms were clean and tidied every day. None
Everything was great after they finally sent a tech that knew what he was doing to fix the AC! Good hotel, I will give it another try when I'm back in Cowtown !
The staff is extremely helpful and efficient
The location is perfect! Close to everything! We were able to walk to the water gardens just fine. Room service wasn't very good. The potatoes were gross and they kept messing up our order.
I had a screaming headache one of the nights at around midnight, the staff offered to open the small store when I asked if there was anywhere in the area to get some advil. Everyone we encountered was nice, and helpful. The breakfast though great was pricey if you are not a big eater. Also, I did not know parking was additional.
I arrived to hotel at 10pm my room was prepaid but they gave it away they sent me clear down the other end of the city I was looking forward to being right there in middle of sundance square to comf walk to various places. They paid for all accommodations but it still was not what I had set up to do.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Our valet had a great sense of humor, the staff personally greeted us as we walked through the door and we were on our way to our room in less than 2 minutes. The facilities were incredible w/ an awesome fitness facility, and outdoor tennis & basketball courts. They provided necessary equipment. Excellent location for families! We walked everywhere in Sundance Square which was extremely family friendly. If we ever go back to Ft. Worth, this is where we want to stay! That we had to leave after just 1 day!
I am a native of Fort Worth and was in town for one night. This hotel is awful. I stay in hotels more than 100 nights per year. The hotel promised a king bed and had none. The insolent woman at the counter did not care. I placed the breakfast menu on the door and no one collected it. This pretentious hotel was once a destination. It is now poorly managed with an insulting staff. Ed Bass deserved better as a centerpiece of Sundance. I will never stay there again and warn others.
Water Preasue in the shower very low. TV did not work all the time. Had to pay for Internet.
The location downtown Fort Worth so we could attend Main Street Arts Festival and have easy access to our room. Due to dietary needs I must carry certain foods and it would have been easier to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Right in the thick of a pleasant downtown. All staff encountered friendly and effective. Comfortable room with great view of downtown (our side of the hotel). Expansive lobby. Nothing
Service was great and attentive. Everyone was very helpful. The bed is hard as a rock. Walls are thin. Room decor is dated.
It was very clean. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The bed was amazing! Could not use the hot tub. There was a family of 12 in it. Including babies.
Courtesy of staff, good sized rooms, free shuttle to the city center
The property is clean, well maintained, and well staffed. A shuttle can take you to local attractions. The free breakfast is perfect, and even the coffee is good. I will stay here again.
Accommodations, staff, even breakfast was good While technically downtown you would not want to walk basically need to take cab or shuttle, which was great!

Location They put me in a closet for a room that had double doors that had a lot of hallway noice. No view of anything
Staff - nice and friendly rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. bathrooms were clean. Hotel was nice and quiet. Wish the hotel had a bar or restaurant. Hotel only serves breakfast. (Hence the overall expectation of star level for this hotel).
There is no 24 hour room service,,,, not even a bar,,, just a station to buy handmade light meals.... this hotel why nice should not be rated 4 star by any other standard of a 4 star hotel.... they only serve breakfast in room only.,,
Great location, helpful staff
Entire hotel staff were excellent.
Great location, cleanliness, beautiful updated decor. Valet only
Location, Staff, and Room.. All Excellent. And the breakfast was also good. Valet parking is expensive. Look for alternatives for your car.
Location We've stayed at the other 4 star hotels downtown and this hotel is not in the same category as the other two. This one should be bumped down to 3.5 or the other two should be 4.5
The girls working the front desk were amazing. They went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special. The location is GREAT, so much to do within walking distance! No complaints
Location, design, friendly service and cleanliness.
Loved it. Can't wait to revisit when renovation is done.
Coffee maker not working a breakfast. Ice Machine not on the floor indicated (only one for the property).
Old, run down, window A/C units, only one functional elevator...
The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Close to restaurants and shopping areas. Very nice breakfast. Also, also has Starbucks coffee. Definitely is a place for the business traveler. No negatives.
Comfortable beds, spacious room, decent breakfast. Staff was very accommodating in request to change rooms after we checked in due to strong stale smoke odor in non smoking room. Would return when in this area again. Elevator was very slow. Security lock on door was broken. Had to change rooms because of strong stale smoke odor in non smoking room. Kids running up and down hall at night being disruptive and noisy. Same kids that came to the breakfast area bare footed.
Great value and good location, stayed multiple times always good. nothing
Close, easy to book last minute for a quick couple night away. Good price for a room for what you get. But they don't offer free breakfast any more which ws we would have known that before, remove that from site! No free break fast as stated on site
NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Yes they did not let my husband in cause we could not find his I'd and only one person has to have I'd and they also thertend him to call the Cop because he didn't have it we did not stay the towels were dirty stained up and the floor smell Like moiled!
I didn't like anything about the hotel the outside appearance wasn't bad but once you walked in, it was simple horrible. I didn't like the fact how I had a room infested with bed bugs! :-(

The staff You could go out the side doors but couldn't enter back the same way
It was quite. This location started they hag a outside look and free breakfast. They lied! There was never any breakfast, they claimed they had some electrical issues and apparently the spot where the pool was was a cemented patio.
The place was incredibly run down. There was visible damage to walls in all locations. There were stains on everything. The room was not very clean. It smelled old and somewhat moldy. There is also no elevator.
Friendly staff. are wonderful. Housekeeping barely knocks on your door and just comes in unannounced to ask about needing cleaning service. Not really cool with that especially since I have a minor child in my room. But overall I say ðŸ‘
The Magnuson provided the amenities one would expect of a good hotel. Selected as a star level two, it far exceeded expectation. Check in was easy. Room was clean as was bathroom. Parking fine;free breakfast. King bed not like home but quite okay. Had to request a plunger for commode that was plugged up. Some nut case tried to flush a bar of soap that had swelled :( No fault of the staff. Only one handicap room ~ ours had excellent grab bars in tub. Will stay again when visiting family in the area
Location The room was disgusting. The carpets had debris on the floor and we're not vacuumed. The toilet seat had old urine on it. The hair dryer was very old and did not work.
I left my 100$ fire stick in my room I stayed in and called them after searching my everything and they can't find it so I know the maid stole it!
Staff was upbeat and helpful. Cleaning staff did a great job prepping and re-prepping the room whenever I left. Despite being a "100% smoke-free hotel," my room smelled like an ashtray. They were housing a couple Little League teams at the same time and the noise level was high. Once the Little Leaguers left, I was awakened early the next morning to a screaming toddler. Seems a fine hotel for kids, but not so great for adults.
The location was excellent because you can walk anywhere you want to go in Sundance Square. Staff was excellent. Sent chocolate for my friend's birthday. No hair dryers.
The location of the hotel to the downtown area, within walking distance of shopping, dinning and night life. The only parking available is through the Valey Service which adds a cost to the Hotel Rate. If you do not use the Valey then parking is either on the street which is very limited or a public parking garage that is 4 blocks away.
Everything I needed to get to was withing easy walking distance. Room service was fast when a request was made. The Manager's Reception was great and breakfast was fantastic! Not one complaint.
