Pros:
Anna-Cristina was very helpful and patient even though the line was long and she was the only attendant due to COVID regulations.Cons:
I wasn't aware that I needed to retrieve the car at Hertz at the Cagliari Airport even though I rented from Dollar (unless I missed it in the fine print somewhere, but it wasn't obvious). Another attendant would have been helpful as it was quite a long line and I waited over 30 minutes, but I understand this may have been due to COVID regulations for staffing. The check engine "(!)" yellow light came on a few days before my return, and the roadside assistance employee told me over the phone that I should explain this to an attendant upon return. I ended up returning the car 1 day early before the scheduled time, and wanted to confirm the early return/ensure that I would be charged accordingly, as well as explain the check engine light situation, but no one was there when I returned the car and I wasn't sure which number to call since I made the reservation through Dollar but it was actually via Hertz.Thrifty
