Cairns Motels

I think just ok, no outstanding points I want to highlighted to the hotel. The aircondition, bathroom, kitchen is just fair for living. The check in and check out time is not appropriate for guests, the check out time is 10am. When we checkout the hotel, we left some useless bags,foods in the hotel and not cleaning the breakfirst as usual, and they yelled to us that we made the room disgusting and let us pay 30 dollars or clean the room by ourselves!! I think it's very crazy to let guest clean the room on behalf them.

We enjoyed our stay the room was good and the staff very good. It was further from shops and beach than we expected but enjoyed the walks but not the rain. Wrong time of year for us. Breakfast tables were not cleared well and coffee was a bit weak

Nice self serve breakfast (cereals/toast), relaxed atmosphere. Safe in the room and pleasant staff. Air conditioning quite noisy.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was TINY. A little problem with small ants. A bit far from downtown. Pool was tiny.

we enjoyed the one night stay, my friend disabled and when the manager realised this he gave us special room for people with disabilitywhich actaully well equiped. the only problem we arrived late and difficult to find restauant open but we managed

Notthing! Run by amateurs: a family by morning and another by evening. The swimming pool is a tank of 3 by 3 meters. There is no space for every car in the park. You cannot use a usb pen at the guests computer and the printer doesn't work. The view from the room is to somebody house, there is no privacy, and it is closed with a flyes net, so if there is an emergency you can't jump through the window, thou you're in the ground floor. The room is very small, the is no space for the luggage. The internal door between rooms was unlocked. It is a family who does the cleaning, not a professional way. The name of the hotel takes the wrong way. It's a 2 stars hotel, not central and expensive for the quality.

Location was great and everything was within walking distance. It was great to have a refrigerator in the room for snacks. The front desk help was great - they always had good suggestions on what to do while in town. It was a decent little hotel. Only two things of note: there was a clump of hair on the bathroom floor, like a tumble weed and the neighbor's in the room next door came home at 2:45AM one night and proceeded to scream and argue for the next hour and half.

The night decorations were impressive and the staff were sometimes able to rectify problems. The bar and reception area were closed and alarmed at around 10.00 P.M. This was a big problem. I also killed 3 cockroaches in Room 17. I did not mention this at the time so as not to disturb my mother. Leaving used food trays in the corridor during the day seemed to me to be an obvious cause of the insect hazard.
