The view at the sea, the servis of bar. The english language of the staff (few personnes speaked english)
Everything was good. restaurants on the high italian level
Spectacular location, friendly staff, breakfast room with sea view, reasonable prices in bar, Hermes shampoo ;-) some details hair dryer, some furniture is a little outdated but the location and service make up for this.
Beautiful location, stunning views, private beach. The restaurant by the beach was very good. Room was tiny. Service patchy (especially at breakfast). Not great value for money overall - didn't feel special enough to justify the room rate.
Attentive staff. Fantastic location and views of the view and town There is one road sign that sends you the wrong way. Its a little expensive
Beautifull location, very well presented room. Staff very knowledgable and most helpful. The promenade at Camogli has some excellent cafes and restaurants. No
The whole stay was made pleasant by friendly staff working in a wonderful setting serving quality all the way.
Location gr8. Little things like service numbers on phone to call wd b better. Got accused by ohotel kulm that we didn't cxl booking and asked to pay. V rude reception lady!! This was cxld thru booking.com b4 leaving 4 trip and rebooked cen de d, so bkng.com didn't communicate to hotel of cxl and rebooking. Not professional. Also was booked in2 room overlooking carpark which I specifically asked booking.com not do. Hotel accommodated thankfully so booking.com needs 2 communicate w hotel more!!!!
Location, pool, reasonable size room. No
Location and views, amazing! Recommend eating in.
location and view were great, the staff was friendly but not very good English. We loved the room, it was good size and fantastic view. No
Relaxing, on the beach, close to restaurants & shopping , great location .
I am a Camogli lover to star with. The location is beautiful by itself and the hotel is a typical Italian style with class. A romantic place to go. The rain
We had a snall, but comfortable hotel with a great view of the sea-good value for the price. Very friendly, helpful staff There was were steep stairs gong down to get in hotel. which makes getting luggage in and out difficult
Our view was spectacular. Location was central, near the train station, the beach, and the restaurants. no elevator
Having a corner room with lots of windows (including a seafacing bathroom), gorgeous views, beautiful parquet and enough space to walk around in. No elevator.
Environment, location No
very near to the beach
Delightful Staff, very friendly, accommodating, helpful and informative. Lovely open lounge and well tailored clean rooms. Oceanfront rooms are lovely.. Deliciouos and ample breakfasts available every morning with a view of the coastline. Highly recommended ! Nothing to dislike !
Location is fantastic A bit pricey for the services and overall quality. But as mentioned the location is second to none.
Excellent location and fantastic view. Camogli is very pretty and you can see the entire water front from this hotel. A great place to stay, vey near railway station, but quiet.
the rooms were quirky and lovely. The high quality fittings and furniture in both bed and bathrooms located with great care and attention. eating breakfast on the quayside outside the door was a real treat. breakfast was good, but having to pay an extra charge for items ordered was a bit much.
very charming, dircetly on the Camogli port calm despite its central position
The two young women at the desk who received and took care of us, one blonde and one dark haired. Gentile, courteous and caring. The location is mozzafiato, perfect. The plastic covered caved in mattress, the marks on the walls, the lack of lobby spacde, the orange decor and the plastic covered chairs. The shower was capricious.
The location was perfect, the room was ideal and the view was to die for. The reviews state the hotel is perfect for a romantic weekend. It is perfect for anyone.
The position of the locanda is lovely, just a step away from te town center yet very quiet. Staff is helpful and nice. The room was perfect (amazing view) and although the bathroom was actually quite small it was fully equipped and very functional. n.a.
I liked the location of the hotel very much, close to the marina, beaches, old town, railroads. I like the small size of the hotel, only 5 rooms which creates a very cozy athmosphere. The staff was very good and helpful. The repertoire of breakfast foods can be increased.
This hotel is in a superb location with rooms with close views over a very picturesque harbour in a stunning town.
It's in a fabulous location right in the midst of the old port, yet provides ultra modern facilities and an intimate atmosphere. It's not very convenient for accessing by car, since temporary parking is only possible 200metres away, and long term parking rather further. Also the reception/breakfast bar area is somewhat cramped.
The location was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Parking and getting bags to the hotel was expensive, time-consuming and difficult.
Fantastic location and facilities. Only disappointment was the Lord Byron Restaurant. Food disappointing and given the cost very poor value.
Staffs are nice, the food is good. View from our room is fantastic. The mattress is too soft
Location and lovely view from hotel room window. We were there a very short time so did not get to use all the hotel facilities. We were very disappointed with the meal we had in the Lord Byron restaurant - not value for money. The courses were very expensive but the food we had was very mediocre. Breakfast was good however.
A really beautiful hotel with charm and courtesy. The staff were very well mannered and attentive. The views from the dinning were stunning and the food excellent.
We enjoyed the luxury in the hotel, and the great view from our room, the beautiful swimming pool and the friendly staff. Rapallo is a lovely town with a harbour and some nice restaurants. Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligurie are around the corner, so great hotel to stay if you are visiting Portofino and surroundings.
Everything was Perfect!!!!
We felt very welcome and enjoyed every moment. The view and the friendly staff were just wonderful.
location we stayed at this hotel purely because it advertised a swimming pool . Only to discover that you have to pay 36 euro to have access to the pool , per person per 24 hours . A complete rip off . Have never experienced this in any hotel world wide . The service is Not 5* , Front desk staff answer the telephone whilst attending to a customer, anyone in the service industry would know that this is a definate No No ?? for the price of this hotel for one night you should be able to get 2 nights at an equally nice hotel . If you want 5 star service and facilitys forget Italy , Go to Dubai ...
A wonderful hotel in every respect Very minor---At breakfast each day, the eggs, and bacon were cold even though I was there quite early (between 7 and 8).
Very gorgeous hotel -- perfectly appointed. the height of luxury and very nice staff.great breakfast bufffet. loved the health spa and pool area. lovely clean rooms -- just perfect in every wat. My dinner of a very small amount of pasta (without meat) was very very expensive for what I got -- amounted to about $30. U.S. for a tiny bowl of pasta and no vegies or anything else with it.
perfect location...perfect views ...most luxourios in portofino coast but rooms to be renovated and there must be coffee an tea facilieties in the room but over all a very pleasent stay in great portofino..
Beautiful grounds, view from the balconies, and proximity to downtown area.
Location and ease of use
the grounds and view of the area the beds are as hard a wood.
The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very good. The best part was the beach area and the manmade cove to swim in. The views from the back of the hotel are fab and the grounds are very well kept. The car parking is charged at €12 per night and the beach chairs are charged at €14 per charge per day..... this was only explined to us when we were checking out and received a much larger bill than expected.
A Hotel with magnificant water views close to town beautiful gardens . "Just superb" Would stay there again
The location and the staff(and food) Rooms a little small and in need of refurbishment
Great location and great views across the bay. Bedroom was small and the hotel charged extra for sunbed and changing huts at €18 per day and we only found when we paid the bill at the end! In addition they charge a further €12 per day for a parking space!
friendliness and cleanliness
Terrible bed very hard poor quality mattress and pillows. Was told I could move rooms so packed all luggage up and told next day we would have to pay another 50 euros. So we kept the same room. Also very noisy doors slamming in morning.Very old cutlery and run down fixtures. Very expensive I have stayed in better 2 and 3 star hotels in Santa Margherita before
The panorama is wonderful. Breakfast was good. Parking service - good. Reception desk - fair. Everything else - less then poor. Rooms (we had 3) old and small. Service of staff - lazy and slow. Price much too high for what we got. Dinner at the hotel restaurant - simple but costly. Service at the restaurant - terrible (an hour waiting for first dish, served almost cold).
Everyone was very helpful. Parking was no problem. Close to the train station for the ride to Cinque Terre.
The location was very good, being located on the shoreline and close to the market area . The staff were extremely helpful knowledgable and friendly and spoke English very well. The breakfast buffet was very large and full of fresh products. Our room was a good size and quiet.
location standard of the hotel
great service, gave good recommendations for dining and touring, great location
We loved the view and town of Rapallo. Expected less as the surrounding area is very well revered. Rapallo, however, is within one hour or less of all the important areas on the Ligurian coast.
Very good location and very good cleanliness of our room. Spacious room recently renovated wooden floor. espresso and cappuccino were no very good something happened to espresso coffee machine
Very nice hotel. The coffee was the best served during our 10 days traveling Italy.
Perfect location, comfortable rooms, helpfull staff, reasonable price (with seasonal discount). Once we asked for the possible extension of our stay we got a free upgrade to Superior Double Room. Staff was wery helpfool with planning of our trips to Portofino and beatyfull Cinque Terra villages
Very good location in centre of town - nice rooms - good view. Raphello is a beautiful place. Service was fine.
Excellent hotel - Elizabetha at front desk very friendly. great English - really great location, across the street from the sea, shopping right there outside the door. Plenty of restuarants within 5 minute walk. Parking across the street is 10 Euro for over-night, but very accessible. Be warned that the parking lot is used for market day on Thursdays and you are not allowed to park in that lot on Thursdays - don't know where you would park that day - maybe a daytrip added to your shedule so you don't have to deal with that. We only stayed one night - but wish we had stayed 3 days - it was a really great place.
Very nice room and facility, with additional grounds in small cove area. Great setting and simple walk to Portofino harbor. Staff was quite competent and efficient, but seemed personally aloof.
It was a excellent value for the price but certainly not among the better appointed hotels we stayed in during our trip. The location right on the road was dramatic and the access to a beach an unusual plus for Portofino. The staff was helpful but probably not that experienced in the hospitality business. It has tiny almost ship-like bathrooms. The front door is literally on the street which is narrow and treacherous and the parking is cramped and dangerous but space in this little hamlet is limited. The staff, although helpful, seemed inexperienced in the ways of the hospitality business and the bell man (if that is what he was) smelled heavily of alcohol. Breakfast was primitive and not very good (we decided to eat in town after tasting the acrid juice). This hotel probably needs more professional leadership and a facelift, but it was certainly relatively inexpensive.
We were upgraded to a room with a view over the water - it was fantastic. When we checked in they kept our passports whilst we were shown to our room, I would have preferred to be given our passports back straight away.
staff was very accomodating , helpfull and plesant. excellent location and we like the beach too. the pathway to portofino was a great advantage. the rooms were little dated , could do with a makeover.
Excellent location, although older style the rooms were large and comfortable - ours had a great balcony, lovely swimming beach, friendly staff - perfect for families or couples.
This was an excellent hotel with excellent staff. We were met at the car park and nothing was too much touble. The breakfasts were very good and the room was also first class with a wonderful view. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and location.
The room was a good size for an Italian hotel, and the terrace overlooking the bay was ideal. The breakfast needs to be improved. Packaged cookies / muffins and no fresh juice are sub-standard for a 4 star hotel. If the breakfast were to be improved I would have only great things to say about Piccolo.
Location; view; staff was very helpful and professional. It was a bit noisy, but it was located right on a roadway so it was to be expected. It could have had darker shades because it was very bright in the a.m. The place was a little tired and rundown.
great location and beautiful scenery. the only complaint we had is we were in room 204 and we could hear the sound of water pumps kicking in and out all night. the staff offered to move us but we had already settled in for the night. otherwise would highly recomend it see above
Our small dog was welcome and we got a room with a balcony. Modern and very spacious rooms. Old hotel nicely renovated. Wonderful location. 10min walk along car-less small pedestrian walk to Port of Portofino. -
all OK all OK
personel was veery well prepared for guests. I just want to heat up food for our son and when lift stoped on 0 porter have seen me with bottles. he ask somebody, no question to me before, to come and help me. thew manager, probably, ran to me, took all my things and ask: how long in oven? I said 30 sec. he said I am back in 50 sec. excelent. thanks. poor breakfast without any idea, unfortunately.
Well situated short walk from city center and sea, free parking and baby bed.
Great location, and the fact it is a very old hotel that has been brought up to modern standards while still maintaining the old charm.
I liked everything about this Hotel. It is elegant, friendly, perfectly situated, lovely staff, lovely tranquil garden and a superb restaurant , Il Trattato, which serves imaginative food of a very high standard ( obviously a talented chef is at work here ! ). The wine list is a most comprehensive selection of Italian wines from all over Italy - big and small names - and was a joy to peruse. On leaving I said to the receptionist that all that was needed was a swimming pool ( an unusual asset in hotels in this area which are beside the sea and in the town ), wherewith she took out a booklet detailing that a swimming pool would be built this winter in the lovely garden. I shall return next summer to see and enjoy it and meet my friends there
The hotel was centrally located and the staff was amazingly helpful and polite If you get a family room the beds are not very comfortable also the spa is really non-existent and you have to book the sauna an hour in advance
The attitude of the staff no
The location was the best in front of the marina and within a short stroll to the centre of santa margherita. The room view was stunning looking at the marina and the bay. The room was spacious with basic furniture. The hotel staff was very helpful.
i thought the staff were articularly good and friendly and professional and very helpful, plus i had a very nice room for a very reasonable amount
The view from the room was amazing. It had a very nice feel about it. the dining area for breakfast could be updated.
The sea view of my room
Pretty much everything was excellent, except for the closed swimming pool... The personell is extremely nice and helpful... Nothing.
location excellation , close to everything , walk everywhere, great staff nothing a problem .. would stay thier again
The hotel is well located. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable Parking was a little expensive
great location automated breakfast area was not that great would prefer fresh juice and cappucino not from a mchine dispenser
We were delighted that the many poor reviews that we had read about this hotel proved completely untrue. Staff were helpful and not surly, rooms were spacious, clean and fresh and the facilities all worked without problem. Like everywhere in Santa Margherita it is very expensive when compared with similar hotels in other countries.
nice room food was not so good.
There was no internet access in the rooms - not good for a 5-star hotel
Poor air conditioning and no place to sit in room or lobby to read.
The best hotel we have ever stayed at. It is quite expensive but well worth the cost. We hope to return another year. Summarising - fabulous Only having to leave in order to visit Venice.
I think the price for the room was good and it was not too far from the center. The Hotel staff - at the receprion , the waiters, and esp.the barkeepers- was unfriendly.
very nice place good hotel
The location was both good and bad. Good due to the nice view of the bay of Santa Margarita and its proximity to town....walking distance. The road just below the hotel causes some noice as well as fume/exhaust issues..... See above...
Service was brilliant, everyone was so helpful. Food was really excellent. Really enjoyable. The only downside was the road noise, but that can be forgiven given all the plusses.
good staff wonderful food great view super bedroom but with frequent bad sewage smell fortunately able to leave balcony doors open
Villa Rosmarino is a beautiful, luxury Bed&Breakfast. If you look for a full service business hotel, don't come here. If you enjoy 'une maison de charme' run by people who love good food, design, art, personality and a peaceful environment, this is the place to be. Become a 'member' of the house, and you will have the most beautiful holidays ever.
The location, the building, the rooms, the service, and the owners...
Very friendly owners, very stylish throughout
intimacy hill back from hotel from town
Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere and good facilities in general giving you a luxury feeling. No TV in the house.
Beautifully refurbished modern room and wetroom . Amazing views from the delightful garden. Freshly squeezed juice for breakfast on the terrace. Service superb. Located 10 mins walk down many steps to fishing village with good choice of restaurants, can't wait to go back.
the setting the sexually inappropriate art work in the room
Intimate accommodation with charming host and probably the best breakfast we have had in Italy. Camogli itself also lovely. nothing
Villa Rosmarino is a wonderful and beautiful place to relax and unwind. The hospitality extended to us by the owners and staff was exceptional. Due to the arrangement of the shared breakfast table (inside or outside) we met our fellow guests each morning and it was very nice to share holiday experiences with them. We hope to return to Villa Rosmarino and visit more of the surrounding area in the not too distant future. NO
the feeling of being at home, the breakfast, the care and attention of owners and staff, the interior decoration, the view, etc
I am 73 wijth a history of heart trouble. The information supplied did not mention that a ferry trip was needed to reach the hotel. There are 175 steps up a steep slope, and a 1/4 mile uphill walk to reach the hotel. The rooms were not airconditioned and spartan. The staff and administration were amateurish. The rates were wildly out of reality with the experience. We are owed an apology and rebate.Bill Cotter
An incredible get-away spot! Warm and welcoming staff, tranquility, beautiful setting, freshest seafood deliciously prepared, nicely renovated rooms. This hotel is difficult to get to but well worth the effort. Call and ask their advice on parking. Take the public boat or get their help to arrange a water taxi. Pack light, you must climb 50m of stairs.
Location is stunning and the hotel is really cozy. The room was a deluxe and it was truly charming, we didn't regret the lack of a TV. The sea is just a short walk away although swimming is not comfortable due to the access to the water. The terrace is just beautiful, drinks at sunset with a view is a delightful experience. The restaurant serves excellent meals a la carte. The instructions on how to reach the hotel by car are misleading, the only feasible way is by boat/ferry. However parking in Camogli can be a real nightmare and anyway one needs to climb 200 steps to reach the hotel from the peer. The staff is friendly but too informal at times. The breakfast menu is poor and the fact it's an extra is just ridiculous. Prices are too high
Definitely not for the faint hearted or budget conscious traveler. This means the hotel guests are not faint hearted or budget conscious :-) As one guest put it: Sometimes it is good to make it harder for guest. The first night's meal was exceptionally good. The nature and views cannot be beat. The rocky outcropping that serves as a swimming point (with calm seas) offers spectacular wave crashing views. Many walks into the beautiful nature reserve and nearby towns. The current owners have been running the hotel for about two years. The casual atmosphere breaks down and the lack of experience shows when things go wrong. On the second night we ordered a shellfish dish (specifically recommended by the waiter) that contained rotten shellfish. Our concerns and experience (child throwing up in the restaurant toilet) were either dismissed (flippantly pointing across the bay saying: "the hospital is over there") or belittled ("it is possible that eating the dinner outside in the cold night air could lead to feeling sick, none of the other guests have a problem") and they were clearly out of their depth in dealing with the situation. It should be said that swimming is only possible when the sea is very calm.
Overall it was very pleasant. Nothing stands out. We were astounded at having to pay €20 each for a water taxi to the hotel - as the water bus service had stopped. I would not have booked if I had known this in advance. Also the hotel website mentions that it is possible to walk from Camogli to the hotel in 40 mins... absolutely not possible with bags as there are more than 2000 steps. The staff are not very knowledgeable about the area - when we asked for a route to walk into Camogli a group of about 8 were invoved in discussions before someone came up with directions. Also we had a poor sea view considering we paid extra for a superior room.
fabulous breakfast and fantastic staff. Always helpful.
It is a family run hotel with many Italians staying there. Nice atmosphere; friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, simple and with nice view. Breakfast buffet at Camogliese is real good, especially since breakfast isn't regarded as important in Italy as in other countries (great coffees and focaccia).
very good position of hotel, clean, friendly staff, would go back!! nothing
Kind, natural & friendly staff. Location of hotel. Atmosphere. The location of parking - and it's price (15€) given that it was not secured. I imagine the hotel has to pay this price itself, given the shortage of parking, but I think it should be made clear that the parking is not secure but is simply a reserved parking bay up a steep hill (or many steps) from the hotel.
We did like the location very much; nearby the beach and the railway station. In the nights it was nice to eat a good meal at some of the very good restauants in the village. We would like to have a drink or a glass of wine outside in the evenings, and we were talking about how nice it would be with a terrace on the top of the roof of the hotel! -Crazy idea, but then we would come back next time! :-)
The room was well positioned and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were most helpful and attentive. The hotel is well positioned in the town of Camogliese for easy acess to restaurants, bars and sights. The lack of lifts could prove a problem for people with mobility or health problems.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast included in the price of the room was amazing each morning, with the best chocolate cake i have ever tasted, as well as more traditionally breakfasty foods. The proximity of the hotel to the beach was also very convenient and meant that our room had a gorgeous view. The town of Camogli is lovely too!
very clean hotel, renewed hotel a small loby would have been good
Great location, good food, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff
The breakfast choice was extremely good. The hotel was quiet with no disturbances at night - just the sea lapping outside the window. Shower was poor - perhaps a new showerhead might have helped.
Beautiful view, Clean, Friendly Staff, Great Location The shower was clean, but had very little water pressure.
Very central and convenient. Comfortable Room was small considering the price paid. The lift was so small we couldnt get in it with our overnight bags and the reception person.
The hotel has a great sea view & is very close to all amenities. Perfect location. The bathroom doesn't have a lot of space to hold toiletrees but all facilities are good. If booking a room with a seaview (with our without a terrace) note there may be noise from the street outside.
The location is fantastic! You are right at the edge of the water. Easy to get around from this hotel. Will stay again!! Staff was helpful and all recommendations were perfect.
Big rooms, excellent breakfast and good location
An excellent location to visit the magnificent sites along the coast. Views from our window were incredible. The staff were friendly and very helpful in many ways. The restaurant reservations were perfect! The street noise was our only concern, but the location and view were worth the noise.
It was a comfortable hotel with large rooms. Reception staff were helpful. Central location for city centre shops and sights. Walking distance from the rail and bus stations and the ferry terminal. A problem with the TV was quickly put right.
Truly excellent staff - very helpful and welcoming; superb location; wonderful views of the bay - even more beautiful than in the pictures on the website. Would like to stay at this hotel again.
very friendly staff, good breakfast selection Somewhat noisy at night due to beach front location
excellent view convenient spot for everything noise of traffic
friendly cozy comfy reasonable quiet location need facelift getting on...
We were offered an upgrade for a supplement which gave us a junior suite. This room was on the top floor of the main hotel building with 2 balconies looking out towards bay and sea respectively. The balcony was a wonderful place to take in a leisurely breakfast. The hotel has an excellent position and is within easy walking distance of the town. The rooms are certainly not what one might consider as 4 star and the downstairs area is certainly rather sparse. That being said this seems to be the norm in most of the 4 star hotels including those much more expensive than the Metropole.
I loved the view out of my room. I had Mediterranean at my feet, literally 5 meters away. It was unbelievable. Breakfast could be better. They might think of adding fresh juices to the menu and more cold cuts.
The hotel is, in general, good to excellent. Our problem was with our dog. They say that pets are accepted - but "tolerated" would be a better word. They did provide an evening meal for the dog (meat scraps + rice) - for a cost of an extra EUR 12 per night - but the problem is that dogs are not allowed in their splendid gardens nor on their (tiny) beach,In short, if you have a dog, go elsewhere.
I liked the park, staff was friendly, breakfast was ok Old furniture, noise from the street
Peacefull and relaxing atmosphere. Close to the shops and restaurants. Nice lunch restaurant overlooking beutifull bay. Nice staff. It was not annoying fir us but the average age was about 80! We made jokes about staying in a retirement home...
Hotel is very nice, location excellent, staff was helpful. And I can recommend room 181, two balconies, 1 of them quite big, and the scenwery was great.
Very friendly staff. Good location. Nice gardens and beach area where our 4 year old could play safely (sunny though October!)
I liked the location of the hotel and the cleanliness. I also enjoyed the breakfast. Having been to Italy many times and having been to Rome and Florence prior to arriving at Santa Margherita, I was a little disappointed by the unfriendliness of the front desk staff. They were efficient but there was a lack of friendliness or desire to help. Never a good morning or goodnight unless addressed first by me.Upon leaving, we needed assistance to get the train which is only 5 minutesaway. The day we left it was about 40 C and it would havebeen difficult to walk the 5 minute walk uphill to the station with the motor cycles flying by. A taxi cost us 15 euros , a big ripoff and this something I feel the hotel should have helped the guest with even a small fee being charged. ( why not have shuttlegiven it is a5min. drive/
The hotel is located right on the waterfront, with wonderful views along the coast. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
The location is fantastic--right across the road from the Med Sea. It is a little expensive, but so is that whole area.
We had a beautiful view of the harbor from our room. Complimentary breakfast very good. Convenient location. Internet available on site. Nothing
The view The rooftop terrace was closed and the amenities listed were not all available. The air conditioning was too hot and we could not turn it down, hence we had to sleep with the terrace door open which was noisy, and the hotel staff told us the next morning that they can turn off the heating at the desk. The menu was too restricted.
Seaview rooms_Whirpool/pool area_Dining
Great breakfast, oceanview, friendly staff Pricey dinners. Internet access is expensive relative to other Italian hotels.
The hotel is well positionned The room was very small. The bed was old and the deco was old-faashioned
Nice private beach, close to town, rooftop pool, and beautiful views. We rented a boat from the close by marina and had a wonderful time crusing the coast including stops at Portofino. Santa Margarita is a wonderful town and has something for everyone on the Italian Riviera. Beds were very firm. We arrived by car, if you arrive by train with lot's of luggage a taxi would be a good idea.
it was great to have an ocean view room with a balcony for this price in this area various choice of food for breakfast convenient to have a busstop right in front of the hotel the room is cosy and very clean but decoration is a bit serious / business like for a resort hotel
We absolutely loved our stay here....hearing the waves at night in bed, view of the ocean from the balcony, choice of hot and cold breakfast, lunch by the beach and the staff!! We could not have asked for a more enjoyable venue! Nothing to not like! Everything was done with care and a friendly smile!
location professionalism and courtesy of the staff facility- beautiful and very comfortable food I liked everything about the hotel.
The access to the roof-top swimming pool. General location. The mattress and pillows were very hard. Decor in our room was dated.
The staff was able to speak English fairly well and was quite helpfull answering my questions. The airconditioned room was ok. The fitness and spa are both a joke and all machines are out of order. The hotel is situated near a busy road. I would have appreciated it if staff had shown us around. We had to find out the location of the facilities and the parking spaces.
Nice staff, very good cuisine, fresh seafood and gourmet dishes. The hotel is very old, the recent renovation is not in line with 4 star rating, the interiors are really poor, the bathroom looks like a bathroom in a budget hostel.
Good location - close to the beach, experienced staff, nice swimming pool, room facilities are good When we booked a standard double room in this hotel it was another kind of room on their photo, but when we arrived it seems they provided us with econom double room according to their photos
Helpful staff, large room, pool, retaurant, modern bathroom.
It was very easy to find and I just needed somewhere close by the motorway as I was on my way to Florence from Toulouse.
Innkeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and cheerful. Good location.
The location is excellent and the staff is the most friendly we have encountered. The area is beautiful and easily accessable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Centrally located in a wonderful historic town, nice & clean rooms, very friendly owners ... always again!!! Nothing
The Personal Touch...very helpful, family owned and run.
Owners were very friendly and helpful and took time to help us. In the reviews we had read I don't remember that anyone mentioned :
The hotel stuff was really friendly and the position of the hotel is great!
