We liked all of the facilities and particularly the beach and the area around with spectacular views and ease of access to local towns. As a family with 2 children (13 &10 years) we found there was plenty to do and a good nightlife within and also nearby at Port Cala Rajada. The sound proofing in the rooms. It is a little easy to hear noises from inconsiderate neighbours!
great beach and very kid friendly the food in the Mexican and Poolside resturants was not very good.
Nice and peaceful place for family. Nature was near and the place was not too much normal tourist area. Beach and sea was nice. Hotell was fine and there you can feel that customer is important !!!
The hotel was very good although we had a problem on arrival with our room. I had booked for 2 adults and 2 children plus a baby, but we were told that the max occupancy was 4 so we had to upgrade to a superior room which cost us an extra 120 euro. I suggest our booking should have made us aware of this. Food and beach were excellent. Some of the blocks are rather dated. Stayed in the Viva Mallorca for a week before Cala Mesquida and that hotel is much cleaner and better value
The food is awesome. Really tranquil hotel. Perfect couples holiday
Good infrastructure, large rooms, nice swimmingpool Poor services. No place to eat after 9 pm, no room service,no mini bar
Pool, games area, food and evening shows. None
My main reason for choosing Vanity Hotel Suite was because I needed somewhere quiet to wind down after a very stressful and busy working year - it was perfect. Because there were no children, it was quiet and relaxing. All staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble; the food was plentiful, varied and well cooked. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant has a very high ceiling and is quite large. When it was busy, it gave me the impression of being more of a canteen. For breakfast and lunch it was fine, but for dinner I think many of the young couples may have enjoyed a more intimate atmosphere. This is an observation, rather than criticism - it would not stop me going back.
good service from hotel staff to many germans very few english although all the staff spoke english, the hotel was very good but the only problem was the resort next to the hotel called cala rajada was 99% german and very few spanish which was a bit of a down side.
Great location in a very quiet and convenient place with pines everywhere and a beatiful bay with a beach. The beach wasn't overcrowded, the hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful, but in fact we didn't have any significant reasons to turn to them after day 1. We didn't use hotel restaurants and didn't attend any sorts of entertainment so I wouldn't judge them. We should have understood it a bit clearer that it's a hotel aimed mostly at families with kids. It's a great place if you want to come and stay a week or two without going anywhere. Rented car helped us see lots of places in Mallorca during our week at Iberostar. Otherwise we would feel bored on the second day I assume, because the nearest towns are 2-3-4 km away. When we came to the place, got our keys and came to the room, we soon found out that the safe is a paid option (which is weird at 4* hotel and which we could have been informed at the reception as well as about towels). But overall impression was a positive one.
Perfect place to go to for a family holiday - our daughter loved Mini Club and the Animation Team who look after all the guests are great. Terrific food, great pools and it's right next to a lovely beach as well for a sea swim. Very good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, modern, fresh decor. Be aware that its 85 Euro in a taxi to get there (1 hr 15 mins) or get a shuttle for a lot less but it takes a lot longer. Very expensive wi-fi too.
The very personal and relaxed service og very high standard. The location by the beach....
Food was good quality altho limited choice, good swimming pool Smelly bathroom drains & dripping airconditioning unit
Staff very helpful an close to a lovely beach.
Everything is was great! The staff absolutly Fantastic!!! The gym is was not so nice.
its a very peaceful location in the mountains and its very close to the beach we speak english and most of the guests were german therefore i would not recommend going there if english/irish because it can be hard to communicate with staff and guests
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere..pool area clean with lots of sunbeds.basic room but clean..lovely small beach 2 minutes walk away.. Very outdated with furnishings etc but quaint nevertheless..pool area small with alot of it in the shade..no tea/coffee making failities in room and no entertainment on night..immediate surroundings are very quiet, not many bars or restaurants
Nice and relaxing stay with excellent views across the bay
Beach close and nice. Loungers at the adult pool very good, if you can get one. Appeared to be a lot of activities for children, so the resort would be fit families with small children. Paper thin walls, could hear neighbours playing music (sounded like a disco in our room) and children screaming up and down the halls at 8am. Room looked very nice and was updated, but beds were old with springs sticking up. No night life whatsoever. Nightly entertainment runs from 9pm - 10pm. Nothing other than resort restaurants in the area - no bars with live (or other) music. If you do not opt for all inclusive, you need to drive 20+ minutes into the next town for restaurants, if you do not want decent food and do not want to spend the expensive resort restaurant prices. There was ONE cafe in the area (Bar Menta) that was open for lunch and dinner. Decent food at very good prices. Staff (Louis) was exceptional.
