Pros: Comfortable bed and quiet
Cons: The Ladies don’t smile
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious.
Cons: Loud music from the pool pation for mire than 6 hours. Staff not responding to requests for missing items for hours.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast balcony had a wonderful view in the morning. lush greenery and serene environment.
Cons: I would have loved some seawater in the pool instead of freshwater, but it was not out of normal to have freshwater.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel with good location
Cons: The night shift was a bit complicated. Maybe because they were tired
7.5 Good
Pros: The room size and views for the balcony
Cons: 1. The distance from the lobby to some of the rooms 2. Pool was a bit dirty Friday evening.. But was cleaned early Saturday morning
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the breakfast offered and cook to order eggs. The staff at this location was pleasant. The front desk staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We were provided the Presidential suite, but housekeeping didn't clean it well. We appreciate the kind gesture, but please dust and sweep the rooms.
Cons: The lack of elevators made our experience difficult. It is not okay to expect the guest to use stairs with heavy luggage. Please make sure the service lift is repaired.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, pool, room, amenities ... all great!
Cons: All the hotel staff were kind except for an odd one at breakfast who told me there was no juice left during breakfast, even when we saw her colleague bringing the juice (and then be sent off again without giving it to us). It was very odd.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of their way to ensure all our requests were met. They were helpful in finding tour guides and providing guidance when we wanted to venture out into the city. My son and I played pool for hours one rainy day. It was great.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
4.3 Okay
Cons: They messed up my londry. Gave me my changes not back and I cut myself in the pool cuz there are sharp places
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and ambience
Cons: A few tiles towards the pool area are coming off and I hope repairs are effected soon so we do not have the Ghanaian attitude of non maintenance.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The atmosphere was ok
Cons: They were lacking hygeine, water and transport means.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and owner.
Cons: Outdated
7.5 Good
Pros: The owner of the property was professional, attentive, friendly and very helpful.Joseph ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was tranquil and the layout of the pathways leading from the chalets encoraged a homly environment .
Cons: Due to the lack of staff members; the service at the restaurant was often slow and the atmosphere was often dominated by radio presenters, rather than relaxing/ uplifting music. Staff often lacked good customer service when the owner wasn't present.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view, right on the beach, staff were attentive.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was very quiet and peaceful. They try (and succeed) to make the place look good every day. The photos we see in the advertisement don’t do justice to the reality of the resort. It is way nicer in real life.
Cons: N.A.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Joseph and the rest of the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Rooms were spacious. Nice views from the restaurant (and better mobile signal too).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and cosy
7.5 Good
Pros: The location and friendly staff
Cons: The complimentary breakfast needed some fresh fruit and jelly for the toast, also some cheese with the omelette. Moree ‘Resort’ has tremendous potential...just needs some guidance. The near-by beach is beautiful; however, some NGO, govt. org., local businesses and land owners need to clean-up the large amount of plastic.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, location, location!!! Very friendly owner and staff. The food was delicious!

Pros: The
Cons: None at all. The staff will go the extra mile to please you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazingly nice and made us feel very comfortable. The dishes were delicious, and we enjoyed so much to eat in the garden. Last but not least, the bedroom was very spacious and cosy, with the biggest bed I've ever seen! We'll definitely come back to Kokodo :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, good price voor what you get. Some nice tourist stuff around the area. Food is served in the garden.
Cons: The visa card machine is broken, so have to pay cash.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: They gave me a very large room, with a very, very large bed, but the AC did not work in the bathroom, since the windows were left open (behind screens). Otherwise the AC worked well, and the staff were mostly very helpful. There really aren’t many options for hotels in Cape Coast, and this is definitely a prime choice. I stayed an extra night because I was so comfortable. Though it is too far to walk downtown, taxis are very inexpensive to most places you need to go.
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is on a hillside and this means there was always a pleasant breeze.
Cons: Credit card machine not working so I had to pay cash. Not areal problem but just a mild frustration
5.8 Okay
Pros: I liked the size of the room.
Cons: The group order our food at 6.30pm. Some food arrived at 8.30pm and some didn’t arrive at all. 3 people went hungry. Power cuts, meant no AC for 3 hours during the night. No sleep, long drive home!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Every one was pleasant and helpful. Great homely atmosphere. Tucked away amongst trees and nature. Food made fresh on order.
Cons: Food took a little longer to be ready because it was made from scratch on order.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Location of some rooms
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location just 5mins drive from Cape Coast Castle and 20 mins from Kakum National Park. Peaceful and tranquil. Bed was big and a clean bathroom. Excellent value for money and will definitely come back again!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Kokodo is located just outside of town. You could walk into town, but I'm guessing it will take about 25-30 minutes. I took taxis and they charged me 10 cedis, which was inexpensive. The room I got was huge and the bed was enormous - it was a double, but I think 3 people could sleep in it! Very comfortable. The room was very clean. The air con worked and there was a ceiling fan. The bathroom was large as well, and there is also a vanity. The restaurant was amazing. Everything I ate there was delicious and fresh. The restaurant is outdoors, but you can also eat inside. But it's so pleasant in the evening and there are many trees around, so you'll get a nice breeze! In the morning I had my breakfast in the front patio - very peaceful and pretty. The breakfast was an omelette, bread and Nescafe or tea and fresh juice. One of the staff, Diane, did a load of laundry for me and the cost was only 15 cedis! I would stay here again, absolutely.
Cons: The staff was lovely; however, they did not clean my room at all. I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Other than that, the service was fine.

7.5 Good
Pros: The man at the frontdesk
Cons: Television did NOT work
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: There was none
Cons: The toilet stunk. We booked one air conditioned room and two other single rooms and just got 2 double non air conditioning rooms. Not only that the rooms were not easily to vent so basically a sauna.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great room!
Cons: Not at beach. Noisy neighbourhood.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The room was spacious with a desk and a closet. Definitely good value.
Cons: It isn't as close to the beach and most restaurants as I would have liked. The facilities are simple but comfortable and clean. No running water in the washroom was a surprise but using water from the tank in the shower was not a problem for me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious room, good shared balcony with views over the city. The staff were great, helpful and welcoming. I liked the location, quiet in the evening and enjoyed the walk through different neighbourhoods to the castle area. Good budget option for solo traveler for private room with attached bath. Walking distance to station with tro tros and mini buses Kumasi.
Cons: Stairs up to property could be a challenge for some people.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Generous and interesting host. Went out of his way to make us welcome and comfortable and drove us around town. Nice view from location on hill. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Running water not always available. Large bins of stored water could be used for bucket baths and flushing toilet, but somewhat inconvenient for those not used to this.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was super comfortable - great bed, large room, kitchen and large bathroom. Air con was great and wifi was also available which we didn't expect. The best part was Sammi, who was super helpful and friendly and made every effort to make our stay comfortable, and Kenya, the owner, who was equally helpful and friendly. Kenya also owns a VEGAN RESTAURANT, Emperor Ital Joint near the castle which I HIGHLY recommend!
Cons: Unfortunately running water wasn't always available however there was a big bucket filled with water so washing was still possible.
6.8 Good
Pros: The View from the balcony is very nice, sitting there, feeling the seabreeze fantastic Not far to the castle, restaurants and shopping near by, staff very friendly. We will come again.
Cons: After a walk it was hard to climb the stairs, but then.... please see above comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The single room was huge with a huge bed and had an amazing view. The place is also very secure with an entrance only guests can access and as a solo female traveller that was very important to me. The location is excellent and so close to all the places you might want to go. But the icing on the cake is the manager Kenya. He is amazing and will give you tips on the best places to go or where to shop. He assisted me in getting to the hotel and made sure I got onto a bus back to accra with no hassle. He also has a vegan restaurant and he made me the most delicious groundnut soup I've ever tasted. You couldn't ask for more. Definitely a 5 star place at great prices.
6.8 Good
Pros: Big room and comfortable bed
Cons: No running water :(

Pros: Great beach front location! Many different room options for any budget- dorm style all the way to air conditioned suites. Delicious food (though overpriced). 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops, 10 minute walk to Cape Coast Castle.
Cons: Bungalows with shared toilet/shower facilities still relatively expensive. Hammocks are left out in the rain so they were wet/dirty when I was there. Ocean too rough to swim.

Cons: We got bed bugs and food poisoning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a really fun place to stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful, lots of flowers in the shaded courtyard and located right next to the beach and castle. The staff were prompt and friendly.
Cons: We were told when we got there that the room we booked was unavailable so we were moved to the dormitory. We were flexible, but a notification before arrival would have been appreciated. Also, the WiFi was not great outside of the restaurant seating area.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is great and the room had a beautiful view of the ocean.
Cons: The room smelled very bad and the bathroom was very dim. It wasnt cleaned very well and my husband had to ask the staff for toiletries which should have been there upon arrival.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The room had a musty smell.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Location is perfect: right at the Beach Front, just a quick walk away from Cape Coast Castle. Friendly staff is always up for a chat. Cons: Not much to complain about.

Pros: I like the crocodiles especially the 47 year old with whom I took photos with. I also like the proximity to Kakum Park.
Cons: The hotel tried to charge us extra $50 for air condition rooms. Facilities at the hotel stated air condition but when we got there we were told the rooms we booked have no AC. Pros: I likes the serene atmosphere
Cons: The location is outskirt
7.5 Good
Pros: It’s a really cool place because of the crocodils. The people, especially the waiters were really nice and helpfull. We went to cape coast by cab, what was fine. We went to Kakum (amazing place) with trotro (Ghanaien public transport) what was way cheaper than the cab. The taxidrivers asking 150 cedi’s to take you to Kakum and back. But with trotro it is 10 cdc for two. The people at the hotel helpt us getting the trotro, if you are stuck somewere you can call them to send you a cab.
Cons: The bathroom is Ghanaien standerds, but with warm water. The food is really bad. We didn’t swim, because the pool didn’t looked that clean. Be aware you have to pay the room in advance when you arrive and in cash.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Staff
Cons: The rooms was not worth the money. The staff was good that's all. Pool did not look good. Water expensive. Bathroom had bad smell shower head didn't work well. Too many ants. The economy room was better than the room we upgraded to for A.C.

Cons: Hotel had a taxi which was expensive than outside taxi.

Pros: Location
Cons: Everything else but the location
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was helpful.
Cons: Worst experience ever!!! I traveled around Ghana for a month and I just had problems here! Everything is a lie!! NO internet, just one option of breakfast (eggs), NO hot water, the amount of water in the shower is a shame, the door of the bathroom and the door of the wardrobe don't work, really dirty, the neighborhood is dangerous so you need to take a taxi for 700 meters. The money I spent here is just not worthy at all!!! There are paradisiac places with quality around Ghana to go, also in Cape Coast but definitely not this one!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts always ready to go out of their way to look after us. A peaceful spot on the top of the hill without the pressure of city life in Ghana. Good for working peacefully in your room + access by foot to the University and the Cultural Centre.
Cons: Some days problems accessing wifi. The fridge didn't work.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staffs were friendly and facilities were also good. The location is a little far from the town, but you can charter a taxi if you need and ask the staffs. It’s comfortable to stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The decorations on the rooms were fabulous.
Cons: In Ghana in general we have found the bed sheets do not fit over the mattresses. This was the case here too. The road to the property is also tricky. This is obviously not in the property's control.

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The photos online are deceptive and the facility is older than it looks. There’s no point of sale available. Be sure to bring cash along.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The wifi was excellent and functioned without interruption for the four days that I stayed here. Let them know that you absolutely need access to wifi and it will happen. The two young men are always available and will try to meet your every request. They are a great team! The room was comfortable and quiet. Sometimes a nearby bar plays music at a high volume but not for very long; the bar always closes early. The location is very good and puts you within long walking distance of the castle and the hustle of downtown. I enjoyed trying different variations of the walk and all were interesting. In the other direction there are a variety of local restaurants within a shorter walking distance. I tried Becky Kay's which served good food and cold beer at reasonable prices. And also tried three restaurants along the beach near the castle, all OK but with great ocean views. If you do not feel like walking, numerous shared taxis drive along Jukwa Boulevard charging only 2 cedis (US forty cents). The price was very reasonable for the room which was large and comfortable with a good functioning shower effective air conditioning, a cold refrigerator and a useful ceiling fan. I would return.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good value room, nice staff, free breakfast in room was a good addition.
Cons: It's not in the centre but very convenient for the bus and trotro station.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable with super friendly staff (they got me a pizza and beer when I arrived late in the evening!) Excellent price/quality ratio for a room with comfortable bed, good shower and fan+aircon. Happy to book this hotel again for my next visit!
Cons: Breakfast served to the room was very basic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms with good facilities like Wifi and air-conditioning.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was well. The host was very nice with me. He helped me a lot to take transportation, he talked to the taxi drivers. I can recommand this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The host of the hotel was very nice, helped to get us settled in and the room was basic- with great A/C, great shower, and the breakfast was tasty. Will recommend. Hotel is also close to seeing the castles and nearby to the water.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, I don't recommend this hotel. It was extremely disappointing especially considering it wasn't particularly cheap.
Cons: As soon as we arrived the front of the building looked rundown and not like the photo. I thought we had booked somewhere decent but it was a big let down. Everything was old and falling apart. There was no dining room or anywhere to hang out and relax. They tried to charge ridiculous amounts for the water and drinks in the fridge as if it was an upmarket hotel. There was nothing upmarket about it.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything. Unfortunately, the room was as described and there was no running water. The towels were pure white and stained with brown streaks. The guy who assisted tried his best given the circumstances. He was accomodating. The facilities let him down.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good manager !
5.4 Okay
Pros: This guesthouse had the best location, water pressure and hot water. They also had a decent bed. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was old, no working WiFi or tv channels. They offered a very limited breakfast and the room (room one) needed some updates. The shower had this big step to get into it and it was tiny. The room smelled like moth balls and the scent just overpowered everything.
