The breakfast was excellent, with home made bread and granola. The owners were extremely helpful throughout our stay, offering good tips to get by smoothly in Cape Town. The atmosphere of the B&B was really pleasant and we have only good things to say about the B&B and our experience there.
The location is good in that it is walking distance to the center and to most tourist sites. The challenging aspect has to do with Cape Town itself and not with the B&B. It was extremely unpleasant to walk around the city, especially towards dark. Constantly being accosted and warned by everyone not to walk around after dark.
breakfast was excellent with a a choice of eggs cooked the way you like them. The bread was fresh and tasty. The coffee was good and the company and chat with other guests fun .
I was very pleased and comfortable so nothing to complain about
Very welcoming place - beautiful building and plants. Bed was very comfy and location quiet so had a really good night’s sleep.
Great property, lovely staff and host
The host was friendly and helpful. The bran muffins for breakfast were amazing! Just next to the wonderful Marca’s African Place recommended by the host.
Compared to the rest of the places we stayed this was very disappointing. Room was a bit shabby and poorly lit. The bathroom was grubby and only one small towel per person. AC heating didn’t work properly so we requested an extra heater. Shower didn’t work, owner had to come and fix it. Bathroom windows did not close properly which left us feeling uncomfortable at night!
