Pros: We just celebrated our 31st anniversary at the Distillery Inn and couldn't be happier with our choice! The room was so wonderful, with unique touches such as the stocked bar to make your own martinis, an awesome rain shower and luxurious bed linens. We really enjoyed the bikes and were delighted with the delicious gift of Moonlight Expresso from the owners! This place is a unique, personal experience, highly recommended!
Pros: Staff were friendly, courted and helpful. Location is great for ski in / out and 4 mountain sports on premise made it a breeze for rentals and gear transport to the other ski areas. Rooms are well appointed - we felt right at home.
Cons: Our room location wasn't the best - a little noisy at times - too near the lobby.
Pros: Had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, the waiter was well informed and willing to go above your normal expectations. The rooms were very small and even with very few people staying guest were all lumped together in one area of each floor. This took away any sort or privacy and quiet that you usually find at this type of resort in the summer.
Cons: Hotel front desk staff were terrible. They would not answer the phone they were slow to respond to any requests and appeared as if they all hated their jobs. Our check out and getting our car from valet was a disgrace on the hotel. Management obviously takes a break after the winter ski season which is not normal for this quality of a hotel. Perhaps some stock holders will look at this 5 star resort hotel that is being run like a 2 star mom and pop motel in the summer and turn it around. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility top notch.
Pros: Service was outstanding.
Cons: Restaurants very expensive.
Pros: Excellent staff and service, beautiful accommodations.
Cons: The first night the sheets had holes in them, the last night the bottom sheet did not fit and the top sheet was nonexistent. The hvac fan ran continuously.
Pros: The staff appeared to be friendly, the rooms appeared to be clean.
Cons: A smoke alarm caused a 130 am evacuation.
The explanation given was a "belt caught on fire in the kitchen."
I don't know what to make of the reason, but to the lay person it appears that it was caused by carelessness (by overnight staff?), or someone didn't attend to midnight popcorn.
Pros: The facility looks very nice and was. The service is the issue
Cons: The service ended up being terrible and has resulted in a disaster story to tell friends about. Just awful. First off, when I got there I learned there is only valet parking. I hate to have anyone else drive my car and being forced to did not get us started off on the right foot but is not a huge deal so we just moved past it. We got to our room which was nice and the best part of the experience. Then I got food poisoning from room service (Burger) so I could not sleep. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm when off. We had to go stand outside for 45 mins waiting for the fire department to get their and clear the alarm. The kitchen set off the alarm while cleaning. By the next morning I just wanted to get home but on check out noticed they charged a $15 resort fee and a $15 valet fee added on in addition to the tips I gave the drivers. I did not raise a fuss with the staff as they were already hearing from other guest and I wanted to get home. They did not offer any discount or anything for the fire alarm which is bad customer service in my opinion. So, to sum it up, I was forced to valet park, got food poisoning, had a fire alarm set off in the middle of the night, had multiple unexpected fees, and received poor customer service. I still can't believe how bad that one night when.
Pros: Staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. The room exceeded my expectations.
Pros: On my previous visit, I loved my room so I was really looking forward to my next visit... But my room was not nearly as nice, it was a handicapped room & so there was no tub & the coffee maker didn't work. Two of my favorite things... I was looking forward to sushi but you guys change the restaurant to a Gastro pub... Which is not a problem but what I did order from room service was no longer available so I was a little disappointed this trip.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and right along side the slopes for easy access to activities. Vaulted ceilings, open living space, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen were a plus.
Cons: No air conditioning in unit.
Pros: Parking was easy.
Check in/out was very simple and hassle-free.
Cons: Very thin walls with adjoining room. Heard a little too much during the stay.
Not a lot of food around the site.

Free WiFi is an added perk, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing. Pros: The shuttle was fantastic! Staff was very willing to help! Never made it to breakfast and soup for lunch but nice to have available. Traveling with special needs granddaughter and everyone was most helpful in accommodating her needs. Parking was very useful. Jose Feliciano was most helpful on our arrival getting our gear unloaded.
Cons: A few more utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful. Made a spaghetti dinner for 11 without anything that worked to serve it easily - spaghetti server would have helped. No spatula either. But at the end of the st these are minor issues!

Pros: Booked a business trip but didn't book my hotel, so I booked Pokolodi at the last minute. Arrived about 10:40pm, 20 minutes before the front desk closed. Karen was so happy to check me in and explain everything, she was also happy I arrived in time. I didn't know they closed early, but that's because I didn't do my due diligence. I didn't take advantage of breakfast so I can't comment on that. Pokolodi is in a good spot, shopping and coffee, beer, food right out the door, and Aspen by free bus every 30 minutes is nice as well. Everything was clean and kept up, despite an older lodging. For the most part I was looking for a place to lay my head down for two nights and Pokolodi didn't dissapoint.
Cons: Not much
Located within a 10-minute walk of Snowmass Ski Area, Pokolodi Lodge puts you near winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes, and freebies like WiFi and an airport shuttle are great perks. Also, this hotel is within a short drive of Buttermilk Mountain Ski Area.
Cons: Horrible.check in experience. Extremely rude front.desk person named Beverly
Pros: BOOK HERE! We are very picky for budget travelers, and this place does not disappoint. We've been staying at this hotel for years, and never once had a bad experience. The rooms are so clean, in good shape, and QUIET! The staff is friendly, helpful, and cares if you have a good stay. The breakfast room is kept clean, and well stocked. The Roaring Fork Valley is a magical place, and your hotel stay should be be one, too. Sure if you can afford 400 a night, stay in Aspen. If you have a budget, but want to feel like you're having a more upscale experience, you will NOT be disappointed. Bonus- there is a paved walking trail right by the hotel.
Cons: There is no elevator, but the staff is happy to assist you upstairs with your luggage if need be.
Pros: I couldn't have been more pleasantly suprised. Once you walk into the building, everything is clean and up dated. The decor is nice in the rooms as well as public spaces. It is a great value for the money. I would stay there again, and recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Nice remodel.
Cons: The shower was a deal breaker. The adjustment was so sensitive that it was dangerously hot or freezing cold. A kid would scald themselves easily.
Also the construction of the walls leaves you able to hear the adjacent rooms easily along with outside parking lot noises.
Pros: Front desk staff was very attentive and directed their attention to us when we asked a question
Pros: All the staff we came in contact with was so friendly and eager to help.
Cons: There were some weird smells and the elevator was unbelievable slow.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were not open during the evening except on Friday and Saturday night. Since we were there on a Sunday night we were disappointed we could not hot tub. Wish we knew that when booking, would have stayed elsewhere.
The restaurant was very expensive. We didn't eat there.
Not many amenities in our room, no mini fridge or microwave. So not a good deal if you like to save money on lunch or breakfast.
Pros: We booked our room for my partner to run a half marathon. The start was in Snowmass and the finish was in Aspen. Great location, restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. We thought the price was fair and much cheaper than staying in Aspen. We will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but workable. Hotel was quiet , beds were really comfy and the restaurant was delicious.
Pros: Firstly the staff seemed really friendly, and that does make a big difference.
I thought we would not like the location because it was off the main area in Aspen, but it ended up I enjoyed the drive every time
Also we ordered extra coffee to the room , and the staff was really prompt to get it up to us
Cons: Nothing was bad

Pros: Nice room with kitchen pool and hot tub
Snowmass is relaxed setting but still close to hiking and Aspen
Cons: Wish we could have brought our dog

The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes, and freebies like WiFi, an airport shuttle, and self parking are great perks. An outdoor pool and a sauna are other highlights, and condos feature fireplaces and kitchens.
Pros: Location was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms and hotel were warm. No AC other than window fans that were extremely noisy. Hot tub was broken which was disappointing.
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: There was nothing to like. Old, hot, broken down hotel. Elevator broken the entire time. Outside door exposed cable and electrical wires. Bed had decent sheets but terrible mattress and pillows. Ants in room and big mosquito like bugs. Parking is in public lot not near hotel!!! Back door to lawn area sticks and broken. On and on and on. Terrible value.
Pros: Ski in/out, complimentary breakfast and lunch were fantastic, pool/hot tub on the slopes basically, super staff, incredibly close to the mall/shops/restaurants
Cons: Kind of noisy in our room (heard snow plows all night long), requested a king bed and were given 2 queens instead, very little storage/closet space, no fan in the small bathroom
Pros: Quiet, relaxing, easily accessible. Great customer service. No complaints!
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Bedsheet had holes. I could hear other hotel doors slamming and neighbors sneezing. It could be quieter.

Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout, and freebies like WiFi and an airport shuttle mean more money for fun in the snow. An outdoor pool and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and DVD players. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage and lessons.
Cons: We had to leave 4 hours into our stay because of noise and a concert, which terrified our dogs. Westin staff would have refunded our money, but the stay was purchased via kayak. Not sure I would use this site ever again. Next time I'll book via the Westin as they were willing to refund our money.
Pros: Good facilities in general and directly on the mall. Kids loved the pool.
Cons: Our A/C didn't work so well, it was running constantly but the room was never cool. The beds were also not great, I have experienced Westin beds in the past and these were pretty hard in comparison.
Pros: Very clean and modern rooms, every Westin I've stayed at has the same fresh smell. All of the amenities I needed. The gym was a good space, could have offered more variety for weightlifting,
Has cardio covered.
Cons: The staff was new in training, packages were delayed in delivery once reaching the hotel.
Pros: Upgraded us to a fabulous room!

Cons: See above
Located within a 10-minute walk of Snowmass Ski Area, Snowmass Collection, A Destination Residence puts you near winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. The sauna makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are great perks. Condos feature bonuses like kitchens and washers/dryers, along with fireplaces and balconies or patios. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage.
Pros: No frills great accommodations for the price and location. People need to relax. Life is too short to require up tightly fancy things. A clean room, bed, shower, is all you need. Get outside of your hotel room.
Pros: Staff was friendly and did their best to be helpful. The location is excellent, and the shared pool facility could be quite nice.
Cons: Where to start? The wifi did not work for most of my stay - after discussing with the staff, they indicated that this has been going on for some time, and they attempted to help, but it did not change anything. The beds are horribly uncomfortable, the shower is old and falling apart (and had mold in the ceiling!), and there is a huge need for adult only time at the pool. At 9:30 at night, there were 5 children running around the pool deck, screaming and jumping/splashing into the pool (which shares a wall with the hot tub area).
This location would benefit greatly from even a low cost overhaul - new beds, refinished bathrooms, and an electronic key system (they currently use a physical key still) would be a big improvement.
Pros: Location for money is amazing. Definitely stay here if youre on a budget.
Cons: Wifi didnt work for most of my stay.
Snowmass Inn allows you more time for skiing with ski-in/ski-out access, plus you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Snowmass Ski Area. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes, and freebies like WiFi, an airport shuttle, and wired Internet are great perks. An outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool are offered, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves. Skiers will appreciate the free ski shuttle, along with access to ski storage.
Cons: Incredibly dirty air vents, a sink that wouldn't drain, light switches that do nothing, beds that chop you down at the shins constantly for protruding way too far out past the mattresses in tiny rooms.
Pros: It was right in Snowmass Village.
Cons: No AC in the room. You could hear EVERYTHING going on outside. Door looked like someone had tried to break in. When booking room, it said I would be charged an additional $25 at the hotel, checked my bank and they charged me $50.
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: No AC so room was very hot even with window open and fan on
Pros: The pool and hot tub
Cons: The extra fees and how our room was right outside of the shuttle stop where people were drunk coming back from wherever until 3am. Front desk did not seem to care about or ask about my stay.
Pros: The location
Cons: The room did not look ANYTHING like the pictures, it was old and outdated, the bathrooms were small & dirty. they did not offer breakfast as advertised.
Pros: The location was excellent, facilities were decorated festively, wonderful complimentary breakfast, great pool and hot tub facility, great lobby bar, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff!
Pros: Proximity to ski slopes at Snowmass. Value priced compared to others nearby, but given condition of facility not nearly low priced enough
Cons: Pretty much everything else. Poor upkeep; pool/hot tub were out of service; shower was hot and cold and hot and cold; noise disturbing sleep at all hours; staff seemed like they were working minimum wage at K-mart.
Pros: Location, location, location. Wildwood bar! Funky, cool, old-school Snowmass spot. Spartan, but very acceptable.
Cons: Bathroom's a bit old. Tub cracked and needs replacement. I had to move the bed platform to plug in the lights on the beside tables and to power bedside power strip. Plugged in refrigerator, very noisy, understood why it had been unplugged. Didn't mind doing any of these things, but a more attentive staff wouldn't have allowed me to be the one to do it.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Trying to find the hotel was a bit of a chore to say the least.
Pros: Retro look to room and location.
Cons: Early in the day a random family walked into our room because they were assigned the same room as us. Then the staff called 2 times from 10-11 at night asking to get our name for the room we were in. Then they came knocking on the door asking for our name again saying that the system was messed up. On top of that the people working the front desk and most of the staff didn't know English so it was hard to communicate.
Pros: Access to restaurants and ski area was great. Doesn't get much closer! Outdoor pool and hot tubs were comfortable and close.
Cons: A remodel job that wasn't really the best. Room didn't have great control over the temperature, probably just because it's an old building. Parking rates were not mentioned on Kayak, and that was $40 for a week, even though we only stayed one night. Check in process had my name right, but my address as something totally different, not even in the same state. I wonder if something got goofed up between Kayak to Priceline to the Hotel. Also, my biggest complaint was this was not a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast spread. They ran out of food, many people waiting, and front desk didn't seem to do much... Just shrugged their shoulders. A few upset folks, which is not typical in other Holiday Inn Express locations I've stayed in.
