Pick up location was closed. Only a sign on the door. Had to drive across town to find other location. Luckily we went a couple days before to check on rental and onsure we were all set, otherwise we would have been late. A notice should have been sent to us thru reservation that the location we chose was now closed.

Made two reservations thru Kayak to Hertz and both times they stranded me with no vehicle. I can only give them a "F" on their customer service since I never got to drive their cars. Most likely the bumped me because I was Kayak and they had opportunities to get a higher rate from someone else....

My experience was ok. They didn’t have a full size car that I wanted so I got “upgraded” to a small suv, but that is not really an upgrade if the full economy is higher than what I wanted to have. It was only me and my wife. Also the vehicle was really dirty on the outside, the steering wheel was sticky and there was trash and food debris between the driver side seat and center console.

This place no longer exist! Please remove so others won’t have to experience going to pick up a car and the place has been closed down!

Our reservation was not available and I did not get a car the day I needed one. I spent three hours running around between two Hertz locations and on the phone with Hertz and Priceline. No one could help. I ended up with a smaller car and paid a higher rate at the counter. It is impossible to get someone from Hertz on the phone. When I finally connected with customer service, I was told there is something wrong with the reservation because it came from a third party site. Hertz would not honor the price I reserved through Kayak, did not have a car for me, and really didn’t care what that meant for our family vacation.

3 days after I returned the vehicle, I get a text message saying I did not return the vehicle. Trying to resolve their mistake extremely aggravating and I’m not sure if it is resolved

Comfortable and clean car. Easy pickup and drop off. I returned the vehicle with a full tank (also noted on the return invoice) and was still charged a $17.99 refueling fee. I called customer service and asked for a refund of the fee since they didn’t have to refuel the car. They promptly gave me a refund of the refueling fee. Good experience otherwise but it’s annoying to have to deal with the unexpected fee.

they say that they are open until 10:00 and they were not. We had to spend the night in a hotel and get our car in the morning.

Pros:

Yes staff was great. Drop off OK, although when the fourth floor drop off is closed and you have t o go around the airport again to get to the third floor drop off, they should put a sign advising you of this BEFORE you go up to the 4th floor! Otherwise, a piece of cake.

Cons:

Post a sign at FLL advising NOT to go to the 4th floor when that location is closed, necessitating another loop around the airport.

Pros:

Awesome vehicle. It was weird when starting because you did not hear the car start. pushed the start button several times but it was already started based on the lighted dial P R N D. Also sounded like the engine knocked out when idling but was still on.

Payless was alot cheaper than any car I searched at the time. The people gave good customer service and the car was clean. Thats all you can ask for.

The car and pick up process was excellent. Trying to contact customer service when I had a question was a nightmare. I played serial phone prompts for one hour.

I did not end up renting from Payless rental because the lack of car selection. I reserved a SUV class & when I got their to pick it up it was a crossover. That was the only car available. That did not fit us for our needs so we decided to go with a different rental company. Rental car companies should be more transparent, this will save time & money because the renter's know exactly what they are getting. The customer service at Payless wasn't great either & also played a part in the decision not to use them.
