Pros:
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to COVID 19 restrictions. Though the company claimed they gave full refunds if cancelled prior to the reservation date when I tried to cancel the reservation online the website would not allow me to do so. I contacted their customer service and was told I could only do that 20 days before my reservation date I said this was unacceptable as that is not stated in the contract. He said he would put it through yet I recieved an email in early April asking me did I still want to cancel and if yes I would get my refund. This was at least 1 month after my cancellation. Then on the 2nd of April I received this email Dear Customer, We’ve received your request to cancel your booking. Your refund will be processed in 20 business days. Get more to spend on your next trip We know travel plans have been disrupted by Covid-19. If you are going to rebook your trip in the future, opt for a voucher instead and we’ll give you up to 25% extra. For example if your original booking was €200 we’ll give you a voucher for €250. The pleasant counter agent who was apologetic and niceCons:
Inability of europcar to get its act together. Left me on the street with no transportation at 11pm as other rental agencies were closed or closing. good thing one of their competitors provided a extremely good, helpful, quick replacement. What a relief and contrast10.0 Excellent
