Pros (+) The hotel was very convenient. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable.
Cons (-) The elevator was small and didn't have an updated inspection sticker. The microwave took a long time to reheat food/water. The cooling knob on our refrigerator was missing.
Pros (+) This was a great spot for our road trip. It's right outside DC. It's currently undergoing renovations and they are coming along great! The guy at the front desk was great. Very social and funny. The room was really nice too! I felt very comfortable during my stay and would definitely stay again. In fact, I tried booking it for my return leg of the trip but it was sold out.
Pros (+) The staff was very accommodating and the room had been fully refurbished. The breakfast had a lot of variety: eggs, waffle maker, cereal, etc.
Cons (-) The pool and the overall state of the property was in poor condition. Bare wires behinds lights, water stain and peeling paint on walls, rough cut dry wall around light fixtures. There is no mention of the renovation or the roughness of the hotel when I booked the room. Doors that have been painted over stick and are difficult to open. The general state of the place made me feel uncomfortable.

Cons (-) The shuttle took 40 minutes to pick me up one time, the entire 4th floor smelled like marijuana from one of the rooms by the elevator and the rooms were dirty and with no air conditioning. The thermostat was completely broken and the room Was overall awful, I will not be back or recommend this.

Pros (+) it's most convenient and valuable features is its shuttle service to the train station. not a long train ride to the city. the price is cheaper than other hotels but you get what you pay for. rooms were spacious and everything was clean. if you plan on being gone all day then it's worth the stay.
Cons (-) there is no air conditioning in the entire hotel! each room has a fan that circulates the air throughout the hotel. fan makes so much squeaky noise that you had to lower the settings. the warm are wasn't too bad during the night but it was very humid therefor always leaving a lingering musty smell. luckily we were gone most of the day so it was bearable.
