The room corresponds with price. There were some ants and mosqitoes.
Super friendly host. Everything was perfect.
Very affordable. Location is also not that bad. You can walk to the old town in 10 min, or use a grab/scooter for longer distances. Places to eat locally nearby.
Room was very humid, and ceiling very moldy. Other than the cleaning lady, nobody is available at the desk if you need help or have a question.
I absolutely loved the location. Whoever says it's too far from things obviously just doesn't want to go for a walk. I could walk to the other side of the square in 30 minutes. Lots of food and shops near by. 7/11, pharmacies, markets, hair salons, spas, a hospital (which was a great place to get my vaccinations). The staff was extremely friendly. There were times when there wasn't any English seeking staff present but the non English speakers tried to use translator apps, as well as call an English speaker. The English speaker came over very quickly. Everyone was very nice. Beds were comfortable, TV worked well, AC worked almost too well. Haha. I liked that the toilet was in a seperate room from the sink and shower room. Had hooks to hang up our backpacks. Overall had a really good experience. We originally booked for 3 nights, then decided to stay 3 more nights.
Our first night we experienced a HUGE cockroach in the bathroom but it was the only bug issue. Everything else seemed clean in that area. A little bit of mold in the bathroom but I've had that everywhere I have stayed in Thailand. There are some roosters in the area, one specifically at a house behind the hotel that was INCREDIBLY loud. It was extremely noisy when the sun was coming up. And anytime any other rooster crowed during the day, it did as well to "claim domonence". Most annoying animal I have ever heard. The neighbourhood can be a little noisy as well, but that can happen anywhere. I believe there are 2 long term guests who frequently sit outside and I hear them talking often. The room is not very sound proof.
Clean, nice, calm, 5 minutes from center. The Lady at the reception helped us to get back our camera that we had forgotten in Pai. She was really helpful.
