Wisteria House B&B - Cloyne - Building
1
9.5 Excellent (351 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful b&b! Very clean, rooms are spacious and lovely, beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We all had different items (4 people) and everyone raved about their food! The freshly baked scones were the best I have tasted. Arta and Albert are such lovely people, so welcoming and accommodating! I would have no hesitation in recommending Wisteria and would gladly stay there again!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every last detail was taken care of by two extremely gracious hosts. Could not recommend this highly comfortable, modern and well equipped B and B highly enough with lovely personal touches like freshly made scones etc
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great B&B in lovely Cloyne. Breakfast is top quality - a small but ample buffet with cereals, poached plums, delicious scones, and you can order a hot dish such as a choice of eggs with bacon, sausage or smoked salmon - all artisan products locally sourced. Rooms are beautifully appointed with antique furniture pieces and are very comfortable. Need a car to travel for dinner spots but East Cork is rural so without a car it will be difficult to visit all the lovely locations nearby. Looking forward to going back.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Setting was very quiet even though not far off the main road. We had ground floor rooms which was very good for us. Our host gave us some advice for sight seeing which proved very good and helpful. We also followed his advice to eat local in Midleton and was glad we followed that as well. Lovely garden surrounding property. Altogether a good experience. Good breakfast too.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing the hotel was outstanding my entire experience was fantastic and I will most definitely be back again !
Cons: Some of the staff could have been a little more attentive and professional but most were fantastic one manger in particular went above and beyond.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The old building is nice, if not exceptionally grandiose and seems devoid of essential period features such as an impressive staircase, gallery and full height Georgian windows. The setting is a little sparse, remote and like some of the front reception rooms - lacking the character & intimacy you'd have in say, the K-Club Hotel for similar money. However the bedroom was large and comfortable with a new TV & super fast internet for streaming live stock prices direct from New York.
Cons: The front desk are good, the food is adequate but the bar staff let the place down, nothing major - just hipster young fellahs who need more training to develop stronger interpersonal communication skills and c'mon,. the customer is always right - what kind of kip doesn't stock Jameson Black Barrel with the Middleton distillery only 2-miles down the road ? Barry Crockett would have been outraged too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Horses and the pool were amazing! Also the leisure dressing rooms were beautiful. The horse director was a lovely guy also.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was divine, especially the French toast!. We also received a card and chocs for our return visit. A lovely touch. Castlemartyr definately know the value in 'the little touches.
