Staff were very helpful, patient and pleasant. Food was superb - couldnt find fault with it. Pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. I didnt play golf on the course but it looked fantastic and many of our group did play on Saturday and said it was exquisite !
It was a dream, time away from reality. A real touch of class. Everything perfect. So impressed! So relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble. Yoy were treated like royalty. Absol. Nothing.
The pure luxury, restfullness and tranquility aided by the wonderful courteous staff. A wonderful experience. no.
totally relaxing badly signposted,no mention of Capella in Castlemartyr village.Finished up 4/5 miles beyond village before I turned back.
impressed from the beginning...
Mainly comfort and staff . Our welcome was effusive but on checking out we were left to fend for ourselves eg. find our car and drag luggage to carpark etc. A total contrast to our arrival. I was also quite surprised with the quality of the coffee at breakfast as one would expect a cafetiere of fresh coffee at least.
The Bed was most comfoable, the breakfast was good and the dinner in the golf clubhouse was very good and reasonable. Food in hotel was expensive
Warm welcome, comfortable rooms, beautiful location Queuing for breakfast
Impeccable service, beautifil nature, coastal- and cliffwalks nearby
Friendly reception; spacious room; no-pressure atmosphere; fine surroundings within the hotel grounds; what looks like a fine (anf challenging Golf course - I'm not a golfer!); very good food. Restaurant service very good but tended to be slow.
Hotel pleasant and comfortable. Staff friendly. Good location to explore east Cork area. Good choice of breakfast. Poor signage to hotel location. Bar food quite pricy.
Staff very friendly and helpful Cleanliness of bathroom wasn't always great
Nice hotel with a nice Leisure centre. Good for discovering the coast.Nice staff, good breakfast Our room was not "superior" the hotel was too expensive for a three star hotel
The hotel was close to the main Cork - Waterford road and close to a shopping area. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. No dislikes.
I really liked the staff. Very pleasant. i used the spa and found it very clean and enjoyable. If i had one fault on my stay, i thought there was no need for the heating system to be so strong.
comfort cleanliness of room friendliness helpfullness of staff would stay there again quiet room no
Good restaurant; good desk staff. Rooms were not thoroughly cleaned; cob webs (& spider) in lamp shades; light bulbs burned out; room doors make a racket when they slam shut; sink slow to drain; could use touch-up paint in many spots; should avoid guests in adjoining rooms when you can; makes things quieter (loud TV, etc.); not many hotel choices in Midleton.
Firstly weather in August excellent you got good view of countryside--also food served up excellent everything wasgood but I felt Coffee and Tea after dinner should have been included in the overall price
Seaview, ambience of Hotel, walks, athmosphere, staff The evening menu,
The location of the hotel is superb and it is well maintained. The food was mediocre but expensive, particularly room service when they lob on extra charges per tray they bring to the room. It should all be reflected in the cost of the food / drinks. The used dishes should be collected from the rooms after dinner rather than left overnight. The vegetables and salad were missing from both adults main courses. The baby cot and bedding was rubbish.
The view.Particularly helpful staff
We found the staff most helpful
The location is beautiful. The staff are efficient and friendly. It is very comfortable and the food is excellent.
I loved the beautiful view from all the rooms in the hotel and the easy going atmosphere in the hotel. No
Seaview, Cliff walk, Hotel athmosphere & Friendly staff . Bar Food excellent. Restaurant too expensive. Shower Curtain in bathroom should be replaced with a proper bath shield. Our room was on the Ground Floor. All rooms have "sea view" but when booking I'd suggest asking for a 1st floor room. Our room had car's parked outside, people walking past our window and half our "sea view" was of a hedge. However, we booked late and the hotel was fairly full so I think our room was probably the last ones that they would use.
Fantastic view. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant does not serve fries to compensate for their ridiculously miniscule portion sizes. Breakfast was good though.
