Family friendly and cost effective Could not partake of alcoholic beverages responsibly.
I had no control of the air temperature and blower in my room. I don't want cold air blowing all night long. The noise of the air blowing and the cold temperature was very uncomfortable. I am not a child and should have control of my room temperature. I should have moved to another Hotel and just paid for an other place. Learned my lesson as not worth trying to save a few bucks.
Was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. N/A
Nice hotel.....having a car is a must have deal. Absolutely nothing in walking distance Great staff....very courteous and helpful Carpet a bit dirty, sink was cracked. Right off I-95. Minimal breakfast.
Friendly Service. This is a dormitory in an office building that has some rooms for rent. Old furniture and beds. Very odd vibe about the whole place. NO amenities one would expect at even the most basic hotel. For those on a budget at half the price it might be worth the stay, but otherwise, look elsewhere.
Value staff very friendly No counter space in the bathroom shower too small
Stuff were helpful and friendly We did not aware of that it is a renovated hospital, bed was broken
The air conditioner worked great! Hummed all night and never turned off. Perfect for keeping you nice and cozy. The room was quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and were very accommodating. Parking was easy and the hotel is close to the expressway. The room was outdated. The light in the bathroom barely worked and was practically unusable (they did offer to switch my room, but I was too tired and just wanted to get to sleep). The carpets were stained and dingy. The furniture was pretty banged up and looked like they picked up some pieces from a garage sale. This "hotel" used to be a hospital and still maintains that look and feel. Had I needed to stay more than one night, I may have passed. The no alcohol rules seem a bit odd for ANY hotel and to change a guest $200+ for evidence of alcohol consumption is rather steep. This appears to be a religiously ran facility.
Good value if staying in the area for a night. Not much around the area, more industrial. A casino is close by, but not much else. Not a family site as there is not much to this place, but a place to sleep. Rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly. I know most places do not clean the bed covers frequently. One of the beds in our room had stains on them that were quite visible.
Hotel was great, as noted by another reviewer, the shower was cold, but we found that the dial was backwards (hot was cold and cold was hot). Great hotel though, comfortable and clean.
Spacious room, safe building, cleaniness! nothing
This is really a hotel. It's an old hospital that's now owned and operated by some sort of religious organization. It was very weird lots of rules and strange keys to gain access to the room. I did not feel secure.
very clean and comfortable. The two rooms next to us had obnoxious families traveling together. After midnight they went between the rooms, slamming doors and talking in the hall. I called the front desk and it stopped. At 6 am it started again. Didn't sleep much that night.
Comfortable, clean and great customer service. Shout out to ansam atif fo being extra polite and helpful, really made our stay memorable!
My bed was very comfortable had a great weekend rest it was quite and peaceful I had no problems
They should have vending machines on each floor, lobby is way to cold
Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Room was a bit musty.
Quiet, good organised, helpfull personel By late arrival no possibility for refreshment and food.
The room was dirty, day and night it was a heavy traffic with many strange persons walking around.
Great room, good service,
Amazing place. Mattress could be more comfortable.
liked the pool, fitness center, and atrium. Had plenty of room to spread out. lack of cleanliness of room despite letting front desk know, some loose tiles around pool. Ripped bed sheets.
Beautiful restaurant at hotel Balcony was small
The service was very good. I missed having a Safe in the room. And the Lobby needed more seating.
The lobby and indoor coutyard was beautiful. Gave you the feel of entering a nice 4 or 5 star facility. My FIRST room had black stuff in the tub. My SECOND room had some nasty stuff on the toilet seat. My THIRD room was a handicap room. So sink was low and toilet. Very uncomfortable. At this time..it was 1AM. So we settled. You would think they would offer some type of discount. Would have been better off at a motel.
Facilities and room were good. 1. Hotel charged me a second time for a room already paid for and offered me meals as a substitute. I declined and requested a reimbursement of 2 of 3 days booked. Hotel agreed and three days later I was advised that the transaction had not started. 2. The maid did not clean the room properly. Garbage was still in the bins after cleaning. The used towels were removed, but wash cloths not replaced. 3. Maid service was very late in the day.
They appeared to be doing some construction, but it was noisy and the overall facility seemed very worn in a little tired looking
Every visit excellent food!
Thomas was wonderful at the front desk. Since they could not find our reservation.
the staff was very helpful to my special needs. a little to far away if you are going to miami beach
Comfortable beds, although, room very crowded. Wifi good. Reception staff friendly. Included breakfast poor, paper plates, plastic knives and forks. Scrambled egg and omelettes probably the worst I have ever had anywhere, factory made I suspect and warmed up, even the airlines do better.
Very good breakfast set up. Very good coffee, available all day. also fruit basket with fresh fruit.
The hotel was adequate for our needs. Found some stray hairs in the bed sheets that didn't belong to either of the party and the beds were rather hard. The beds were hard.
Value Helpful, friendly staff Good breakfasts No frig in room
This was my first experience with the extended stay hotels and what an introduction to the franchise. The room was extremely spacious and the hotel staff was gracious and courteous. Everything was easy going and every morning the front counter attendant would say 'have a good day' as I walked out the door and 'welcome back' when I returned. The corporate office should be very proud of this location. My wife and I felt as if it were our home for the week and couldn't have been any more satisfied.
Good place, clean , quiet. Hard to find but not difficult to navigate.
The hotel had everything we needed for an 8 night stay. We stayed in a studio room and had access to a full kitchen (oven, burners, microwave, full sized fridge, sink, dishes and cookware). We had a queen sized bed, couch, and a recliner, also a full bath, closet, and dresser. The pool outside was very small as was the workout room, but I didn't feel that I actually needed any of these things being so close to the beach. There was also a dvd player with the flat screen TV which both seemed very new. When the dvd player wouldn't work, someone from the staff came down and replaced it with a new one for us and so it worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed something. The only weird thing we had happen was that we found a sparkler (firework) under the mattress pad of our bed. Parking was free and convenient.
Mini kitchen very convenient. Can store food cook in the room like home
Stayed overnight before boarding my cruise during spring break. The place was clean and quiet. The bathroom was super clean which was a huge plus since I have a thing for bathroom cleanliness. The housekeeper brought me my jacket I left in the room before I finished loading the car. It's not a hIgh end hotel but was worth the money. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but the linens were clean. I would definitely reccomend this spot for cruisers looking for an overnight stay.
Hotel was clean and tidy, well-equipped with kitchen needs.
No breakfast on weekends, but very convenient location & nice amenities
We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving night and checked out on Friday. (1 day later) The hotel was OK, but I would rate customer service very poor. When we checked in at 3:00 PM, the gentleman who worked at the front desk gave us a room on the 3rd floor. We rent to the room and it had an odor of strong burnt food. We went to the front desk and the same front desk rep said the following comment: 'Every hotel room has their unique smell from all of the previous guests and you just can't get it out.' In all of the years of staying in hotel rooms, I have never heard this comment. He did agree to give us another room. But, on the way out of the hotel for shopping on Thanksgiving night, he asked if the new room had a better odor in a smug way. We will never go back to that hotel if the customer service is that way.
Great, clean cozy place. Highly recommender. We will be back for any hockey travel game played an East Coast. Please keep this way. Father and 10 years Son
The entire staff was very friendly. We were new in the area, so we needed directions for shops, restaurants and church. The desk clerks helped us with maps and photocopies as well as suggestions. Everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast (grab and go) was adequate, except I would like to have had some juices; orange , cranberry and apple to go along with the coffee and tea as choices of beverages. We were always greeted with a smile. They really made us feel at home and very comfortable.
The room met our needs and the staff was friendly.
This was a secret value hotel that turned out to be an Extended Stay. It was previously rated as a Deluxe suites hotel and it lived up to it's previous rating. Very nice. We didn't make use of the full kitchen other than to make coffee, but this was definitely a suite that you could live in.
Having worked in the hotel business for many years, I know the ups and downs of staying in them. I was very surprised at how clean the room was. Bathrooms are a pet peeve of mine and tend to be the dirtiest place in a hotel... Not the case here. It was spotless. Bed was comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The young lady who checked me in was amazing and very occomodating. (Wish I would have caught her name... Fail on my part.) breakfast was good and the attendant was very friendly and talked to everyone who came in. I will be staying in the area regularly and will be making the LaQuinta my hotel of choice!! My only complaint would be that there was no tea bag in the room. I'm not a coffee drinker, so it would have been nice. But there were bags at the continental breakfast so I just grabbed a couple extra.
Customer service was good, at front desk, and the room were very clean,no bed bugs ,and it was comfortable in the room,me and my fiancee enjoyed the stay, and we looking forward coming back in two weeks. The breakfast need little more variety, especially need scramble eggs.
The staff was very friendly, the room was very comfortable. My family loved the breakfast and the pool The only thing i can think of is the elevator was alittle slow.
Very old and felt dirty. Shower hadn't been cleaned and walls seemed to have no insulation. We could hear everyone around us.
The location was great to get around. You could also walk to a variety of restaurants. No service! Very limited breakfast. Rarely enough coffee.
I liked the staff and the location Free hotel shuttle to and from the hotel and cruise port which was on time It needs to extent it's waiting area and separate the breakfast from that area too It gets really crowed and this seems real ackward in that area
It was clean and friendly staff It was clean and staff was friendly
Bed wasn't confutable. Ac wasnt good.
Nice pool area on a lagoon even if there is no beach. But not necessarily a kid pool. No slide but nice lounge areas. Love that parking is so convenient and no extra cost! Friendly staff with prompt response. Good location off I-95 even though it is in a business-like park area. Large and comfortable rooms. Can't say I have anything negative.
The hotel was beautiful just needs a few upgrades. I lived the pool area and the decor of the hotel. The hotel was beautiful just needs a few upgrades carpets and curtains were dirty, the elevators need some visual work.
The hotel was very nice. Very attractive. The staff was extremely rude.
Typically we love Westin hotels. This hotel should not be allowed to carry that name. The first issue was that the hotel was dirty. Not just our room but all of it. Elevators were slow and old. Lobey was not clean. The pool was nice but the health club was dirty. The hot tub was broken. The restarunt was way over priced for quality of food. We were very disappointed.
One of the easiest check-ins I have ever had.. Friendly staff and beautiful room. There was hardly any I disliked regarding my stay... Maybe more premium cable TV channels?
Very clean great valuee
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and we really enjoyed the pool.
It was just lovely
Good wifi Great place near 95. The wifi is good and the staff was friendly. The king size bed was comfortable. The restaurant was nice but not crowded. The business center needs an upgrade. Overall it was very good!

The wonderful lavish breakfast.the courteous staff. All the amenities promised on booking were provided. Above all ver hi fi locality location. Love to go again n again. Everything was good ! There was nothing to dislike !
Everything was a nice smooth process. It was more expensive than it should have been. Bathroom was a bit out dated.

I stayed there June 2th to 4th.Hotel Employee was very profecional. When I got to my room it was very clean. MY FAVORITE THINGS WAS BREAKFAST FOR ME AND I DID NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL TO GO LOOK FOR FOOD. PLEASE KEEP ON DOING EXCELENT WORK. I WILL COME BACK AGA I love everything about this hotel, outstanding WORK. I AM TRYING TO FIND THE SAME HOTEL IN SARASOTA CLOSE TO BEACH FOR NEXT WEEK. HOPEFULLY, I WILL FIND THE SAME HOLIDAY INN WITH BREAKFAST TO STAY FOR 3 DAYS.
Spaciou Unclean, poor bathroom setup
There was not a close by CVS or Walgreens
the breakfast is very good. hard to find the entrance to the hotel at night. you have to go to a side street to get into the drive way. . .poorly lighted entrance too.
The cleanliness was amazing! Everything smelled fresh and clean everywhere we went... The breakfast was also great, as it included hot foods as well as the continental breakfast. Totally satisfied! The shower could have better water pressure, but everything was great!

The room was nice and clean. The first day we had no hot water. For showering. Very unpleasant considering I had to wash in cold water . I asked the front desk for a refund for the inconvenience but no response.
The hotel had cookies until Thursday. The hotel had laundry facilities for the guests. We almost got scolded in the shower...we asked that something be done about it, but nothing was done to fix the problem. The pool is located along a very busy, noisy road. The room was not done until very late afternoon twice...need more cleaning staff.
Room was clean. I guess. So I am writing this at 4:15am because this is the second night in a row that I have been awoken by noise. The first night was because there was a ghetto crew of people blaring music in the parking lot and dancing and haveinf a party. In the parking lot. Had to call three times to the front desk before they even sent someone down. The second night was awoken because a prostitute was so loud talking about where she "works" and her "rates" that I could not sleep. This place is a rat hole. Room smells like mold.
Worst stay ever front office staff marco rude never would recommend this hotel and free breakfast cold and nasty . Buisness traveler and this was worst stay I ever had .
It's around $50/night. Someone broke in and slept on our patio over night.
Pool and tiki bar Check in time and they don't advise during reservation process of money held in case something happens to room.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pristine condition of my room. It was clean, comfortable and close to the pool! I had a peaceful sleep and was impressed by the friendly guest service. To be honest I expected less for the price. My only concern was that there was nothing fresh offered at breakfast, a price of fruit would have been nice
I love it I love it all
When you first walk in it is very easy to be fooled. The lobby area is gorgeous but everything pass that point is absolutely disgusting. The room was moldy. The sheets were full of stains. Towels in the bathroom appear to have been used. Carpet was filthy. Whenever it would rain water came out the AC vent and sprayed into the room
Clean room Breakfast included Location near stores Free wifi Friendly staff Easy checkout and check in Smell in the room No variety in breakfast
I like how comfortable the rooms are...the pillows make you sleep like a baby. There was a moldy smell down one of the hallways but as soon as I reported it I was switched to a different room that happened to be better
The wifi connection
The bathroom was filthy, with flies and a lack of grout in the shower, mold, and dirt in the room. Disgusting.
the people were very friendly. it was clean and smelled very nice. the beds were slightly hard.
The room was clean and the bead great. Breakfast was included, though nothing stellar. We booked it for the price, but didn't realize how far from the port we would be. What we saved in hotel rates, we ended up paying more in cab fares to the port the next morning to leave on our cruise.
This was a very clean, comfortable, enjoyable, safe hotel to stay at. Lots of shops restaurants things to do all around the immediate area. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. If I'm in the area again a definite stay.
Everything was great - the service staff was incredible! the suite was gorgeous and very clean - loved it! Will definitely be staying there again! The only problem was the gym - it's way too small and claustrophobic. For a hotel this size - they need to expand this - I tried 4 times to use the gym and it was full - holds about 10 people comfortably.
We came here after leaving our first hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable and great view of the channel. Valet could be a little less.
Nothing at all . Poor raining and wait about 1,5 hours for check in due that the electrical system was down. Pretty bad for a chain of Hotel like that. Furthermore no internet connection work ... is good that exist some Panera Bread store in the area .. at least I was able to check e-mail and have a good breakfast. Next time I will stay in Miami. Unfurtunately nothing.
Right on the waterway in Ft. Lauderdale
Great value and an excellent location.
We stayed at Gallery one prior to boarding the Eurodam at Port Everglades. The hotel was a wonderful way to bridge the time from work to vacation. The location on the intercoastal, and its position as a stop for the water taxi, made the hotel a real treat. The nearby Galleria Mall was extremely convenient.
comfy bed, liked the separate lounge area, good room service, friendly staff A/c in bar was way too cold, doors to suites were very noisy in the morning the slamming woke me up when people left(maybe a bit of padding?)
I loved the duvet and cookies on arrival!!! and the concierge was just so helpful. The room was really nice, the website doesn't do it justice and the room service was excellent, food was great. oh and the breakfast was fab! Marie on reception was so helpful, she ordered us a transfer service to sawgrass mills for $70 round trip for the 2 of us. I thought this was great- thanks Marie! There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like. I would stay here again however I would hire a car, even though there are some things close by, we were a little tied unless we took a taxi and they are fairly expensive in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel had a fixed rate service called ATS which were brilliant and much cheaper.
The suite had everything on my wish list, compements to the staff who were more than helpful. It was further from the beach than I thought,
Very pleasant, friendly, courteous, helpful, professional staff willing to go out of their way to be of service. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice view from our balcony of the inter-coastal waterway and all of the boats and yachts passing by. Our stay was very pleasant from start to finish. Sliding door to balcony made a grinding noise when it was opened and we could hear the door above and below opening from time to time during the evening. The doors just need a little maintenance. For some reason the cleaning staff was short wash cloths a couple of days and we had to call to get them delivered to our room.
Was only there one night. Barely in the room. Nothing bad to say
Very warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival (the 'welcome' cookies are highly recommended!) and equally impressive service from the valet, bar and restaurant staff. The room (double suite with 2xqueen sized beds) was very clean and homely - exactly like the photo's posted on the hotel website! The water taxi to Fort Lauderdale beachfront and Las Olas Boulevard stops directly outside the rear of the hotel and is an excellent facility for guests who don't have use of a car and, with the commentary provided by the staff on board, it's also a great opportunity to learn a little more about the area on route to your stop! Order the Doubletree burger - tasting is believing! Only one minor criticism - having been asked to provide a credit card to secure the booking (by booking.com) and again on arrival at the hotel(i.e. two different credit cards), it's not good practice to assume the bill would be settled by credit card without checking the preferred method of payment with the guest first (which on this occasion, would've been cash). While the 'express check out' service is a great idea, this had all done by reception very early on the day of our departure (we were up at7.30am and the receipt had already been pushed under the door!) I would have preferred the hotel to ask me how the bill would be settled and if not by cash, to check that the card provided at check in, was the card to be charged.
the staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, pretty fountain in front and a nice lobby busy street , small pool
The bed was comfortable. Some of the staff was really nice and helpful when we voiced our concerns. I knew there was going to be a problem when as soon as we walked in and the front desk person didn't want to allow us to use the restroom when were initially checking in. Upon receiving the keys to our rooms we get to the our "non-smoking floor" and are overwhelmed with the smell of smoke and what seemed to be a stench of old rotten meat. Upon enter one of the rooms we find that the door knob was held together with TAPE. That's right Tape! We noticed that we didn't haven face towels or hand towels. When we ask for towels we were told that the lady hasn't done the laundry and we couldn't get any. And if that wasn't bad enough, there was an army herd of ants marching in our ceiling make there way through the bathroom like they were marching on Washington. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was so small you can touch all the walls from the toilet. The furniture looked old and stained. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. You have been warned.
I liked the rooms, the staff clean it everyday. Customer Service were very pleasant. The breakfast must have more variety. Althought is continental breakfast, the should be to have more variety and extend it until 10am at least.
in town on my first vacation and got a room late night online for $85. The room was dingy, sheets on bed were old, cock roaches, Windows had no screens, mold growing on the walls in the bathroom etc.....
Friendly and hard-working staff. Guests all seemed happy. Our floor was non-smoking, another floor was pet-friendly. Some late-night noise from state road, but not too bad.
It was a decent room for the price. Staff was rude. I had a man come and try to tell me to go back inside my hotel room. Kinda dirty
How close it was to where I was traveling On the reservation I put 4 guests.. tell me why in the room they only gave me 2 towels and linen for 2 guests.. when I notified front desk they took nearly an hour and a half to deliver the new items requested.
Cleanliness comfort Wifi , train noise
We only stayed one night and we payed $74. it was clean. The staff was very friendly. And checking out I remember Cay and Jefferey asking if there was anything else they can do to make sure we were good . But they were very friendly! But overall no complaints I found it to be very good ! I didn't like that the fact that no toliotries was offered, u know just in case for those last minute travelers who forgot to pack Something in such short notice , I also didn't like the fact that check out time is at 11:00. We barely had time to sleep in and use the pool . So I felt like I payed things I couldn't use. But overall the hotel was CLEAN and the staff was very FRIENDLY!
Nothing First of all, this is not a hotel, it is a motel. The room smelled like bleach mixed with cigarettes. The building was located a hundred feet from the train tracks. There was no hot water when I took a shower. Floor was sticky. Beds were noisy and uncomfortable. Overall you would definitely be saving yourself a lot of trouble by paying 10 more dollars and staying at a nicer place.
Great customer service great pool with great private sitting areas around pool great hotel w mini golf Never heard the trains had the account on and slept like a baby
The location, walking distance to restaurants and bus stop Poor consumer service Elevator was bad Wifi wouldn't connect
Directions were correct. Hotel is being remolded, bugs everywhere, no fridge in room, creepy people all around, security not at all, smelled horrible, paid online, still was charged at the hotel, elevators didn't work.
The room was nice and clean with all the amenities. We were given a room on the fifth floor where the elevator was broken. We cannot climb five flights of stairs. My husband had bad chest pains and I have COPD and a bad back. Our son had to get us both eyes water immediately as we were suffering from climbing five flights of stairs to a room with not a good view.
Nothing. When we walked in. The front was under construction which was fine; however, we were informed that one of the elevators was working off and on so to avoid it. We took the "working" elevator up which had a musty aroma and walked to our room which did not have correct sign to guide us there. When we finally found it, the room was humid. We walked in and then ok our shoes off and realized immediately why. The a/c unit was leaking all over the carpet. At that point, we decided to leave. Got a refund and left.
The room was relatively quiet. The pool was open 24-hours. Lack of communication; I had to voice any concern at the front desk. The days there was no hot water. When the elevator went out-of-service the notice was only no the first floor. There was no frig, no microwave, no desk, and no chair. The workout room had 3 machine and one was broken. I only found 2 ice machines for 5 floors.
The staff was friendly and very courteous N/A
It was the cheapest hotel around at $140, but elsewhere that gets you a lot more. I like the TV beach screensaver and the bathroom was ok! Ground was damp so we put comforters down on the floow so we could walk around without shoes on. I felt like something was crawling on my while I slept, and so did my roommate; it turned out it may have just been paranoia. We killed a roach crawling on the TV. I didn't really mind any of this as I knew going in it wasn't going to be great, but don't think you're going to get a nice place for this cheap.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked a non-smoking room but were initially put into a smoking room. After complaining, we were provided the opportunity to move to a non-smoking room if we were willing to accept a television that had a very poor picture. We agreed. We also found our room was missing a blanket on one of the beds, so our first night was somewhat uncomfortable. We remedied that problem by our next night, however. But there out to be a working television in every room. It doesn't cost much to replace a small TV these days, so there's no excuse.
room size was good. microwave and fridge was in the room. really comfy bed and up to date tv. shower, hallways, and elevator needs work.
Staff was great and eager to help Roach filled rooms, AC and TV that worked on occasion, and a toilet that was held together with a zip tie and had to be manually flushed by lifting the lid. The paper thin walls made us actually feel like we were being featured in the porno that must have been filmed next door...through all of this though, the staff tried to fix all the issues...
Staff was friendly. Good location for where I wanted to be. Cleanliness. Bad smell
