It has was originally founded in 1951 and has undergone many renovations and upgrades through the years. There are 56 guest rooms featuring 12 suites, 6 one to three-bedroom cottages and 14 one to three bedroom Casita residences. Both the cottages and casitas include kitchens, living rooms, and outdoor fireplaces.
The lodge has a full-service spa and salon featuring salt rooms, 2 outdoor and 4 indoor tennis courts with a pro shop, and The Kissing Camels Golf Course with a private country club, driving range, practice green, and pro shop.
