Their breakfast and social hours are always a hit. Great food and cocktail with friendly staff.
First, our non-smoking room smelled like stale smoke. It was definitely smoked in previously. I did get a text asking about our stay, and I mentioned the smoke smell. To the front office credit, they did offer to have us move rooms. We were already established in the room and really didn’t want to move...however, at this point we were unaware of the rest of the problems I will discuss below. In hind sight, I wish we had moved. Second, the room temperature was unacceptable. My wife and I struggled to sleep as we keep our home cold at night to sleep. I attempted to cool the room by keeping the windows open, which led to us being kept awake from the sound of the traffic. I asked the front desk about room temperatures, and they said the air was switched off. They were going to switch it back on for our second night and if they did, I’m here to tell you, it didn’t change a thing. We had 2 sleepless nights. Third, the water pressure in the shower continued to fluctuate. It would go from normal pressure to essentially off. It would do that randomly throughout the entire shower time. Fourth, the safe/vault was locked and not usable. I imagine that the previous guest left it locked. I don’t blame the hotel for that; however, we asked for it to be remedied/unlocked at the front desk so that we could use it later. It was not remedied. It is still locked. Fifth, upon check-in we were told about the shuttle that could bring us into downtown. We were excited for that amenity so that we could enjoy your social hour and then catch a ride into town. On the night of the 29th we were told that the driver went home already and the shuttle was not an option for the rest of the evening. Why bother even telling guests about it?
sad and dissapointed
went to relax in indoor pool cause im disabled and could have some fun with family. and for two of the 3 days pool was down. broke my heart and families too only live an hour away but wanted to relieve/relax so pressure off back and actually get to play with kids. paid an incredible amount to stay was basically our vaction for the year cause cant afford another. Pool was down all day on two of the days. All management said you booked 3rd party and its out of our control . well thanks for nothing but heartbreak and depression setting in killing me inside literally. dont know how much longer i have on this earth to spend with my kids and wife, but this is not what i need mentally
