Pros: The location is really good, just 35 miles from Yosemite Valley. The staff was friendly. We stayed in a tent with shared bathrooms and price was quite reasonable. The bathrooms were clean. We are more likely to book it again during next Yosemite visit.
Pros: The food was amazing, which was unexpected. It truly looks like a small campground with cabins on it. I did not expect a 'food experience.' I also loved the rustic feel, the spa and closeness to Mariposa, for a lil day shopping. I loved it here!
Cons: It was great-its definitely rustic and quiet, so if thats not your thing, this is not for you. However, our room w 3 beds was charming, great water pressure. And again...the food, cheap and delicious!
Pros: Unique experience.
Pros: Everything! Beautiful surroundings, amazing cafe food, friendly staff, and cleanliness all around.
Cons: Gave us the wrong keys twice for one tent cabin. They were very quick to fix the issue.
Cons: I loved everything. I got a non-heated tent and I couldn't exactly bring my own heating device because I traveled from out of state; but if you do travel from in-state in a car and you can bring your own portable heating device, I advice you to do so!:)
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Cafe food was excellent. Spa nice addition. Staff very helpful. Loved being able to take a bus to Yosemite.
Cons: Exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Kitchen to store and cook food, location from Yosemite, the place was quiet.
Cons: Cafe had rude staff, one of the showers, Wifi doesn't work in rooms and isn't great in the cafe area
Pros: It was quiet and cozy.
Cons: Not being able to stay longer.
overall it was a great experience
Pros: the friendly and helpful staff
Cons: lack of parking related to where the cabin was
Pros: The computer system was down for check-in and when trying to order meals, Kitchen staff were a bit disorganized. Rooms were clean and nice to have shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap readily available. Overall, nice stay.
Cons: The kitchen staff were disorganized and had trouble getting meals completed on time. Kitchen helpers were distracted with each other. Otherwise, Chef was hard working, and food was exceptionally good.
Pros: People were so friendly. Food was delicious and inexpensive. Spa was fabulous
Pros: Guest kitchen
Cons: The amount of smoking, especially by staff. Walked out of room go to inhale the fresh air and boom second hand smoke.

The Red Rooster Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Coulterville. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 9 AM. A terrace and a garden are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Downfall was the fact they did not have wifi or a hot tub as advertised. Well, they had both but neither were working. Definitely a bummer considering that there's no cell service in Yosemite...
Pros: location : close or just outside the yosemite valley
Cons: bit of a odor in the room only 1 restaurant nearby. next one is atleast 10 miles away which was ok considering the proximity to Yosemite
Pros: Pool and jacuzzi and nice duvet on bed
Cons: old feeling mattress, cheap sheets and pillows. Loud mini fridge and sub par agent response when I mentioned it.
Pros: Room was clean and a good size. Friendly staff. Nice pool and restaurant nearby, and super close to Yosemite.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable -- they need new mattresses.
Pros: Our room was attractive, clean and comfortable.
Cons: There's only one place to eat nearby, the Buckmeadows Restaurant - avoid it! Bring food or plan to drive further outside the park for dinner.
Cons: no wifi, poor cellphone connection, poor mobile data access
Cons: No internet access. Pool closed during day hours opened gate at 5:00. Pricey.
Cons: No wifi
Pros: Near the yosemity, a good resturant near the hotel, silence
Pros: Its close to the park and on the road. motel kinda setup.dont expect too much.
Cons: No internet ,no cell reception, office hours from 8am to 10pm. No restaurants within 10 miles.
do not waste your money
Pros: near to the gate
Cons: no cellular. no wifi. no breakfast. can't choos the second floor.

Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool or grab a bite to eat at Buck Meadows Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a spa tub are offered, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Considering the lack of lodging options both and out of Yosemite in the high tourist season, Yosemite View Lodge fit the bill. We had a Riverview room and the river was indeed spectacular. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchenette well stocked, and the hotel is as close to Yosemite as you can get without being in the park. (It wasn't the hotel's fault of course, but the June landslide on Highway 140 did force us to take a two-hour detour through the park to get back one day, so that was unfortunate).
Cons: We were there for a family reunion and would have liked to have had our rooms closer together. We also didn't find a convenient place to gather our troops for our potluck dinner, but resolved that by commandeering a couple of tables at poolside one evening and it worked out just fine.
Pros: The river, the coziness of the room with a fireplace and a little kitchenette.
Pros: Pretty locations and easy access to Yosemite. Rooms are well appointed to make food. Liked large sitting room outside bedroom.
Cons: Carpet could use cleaning.
Pros: Location, next to the gate of Yosemite. Staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the rooms were clean.
Cons: Quality of maid service. Dishes were not clean. Did nothing much more than make beds and replace towels. Lock was loose and hard to open. They only provided one key because they were booked full and did not have enough key blanks.
Pros: Located just outside Yosemite entrance. Clean and comfortable, if a bit dated.
Cons: I called to change my reservation from 2 nights to 1 and the person on the phone told me I had to cancel the whole reservation and re-reserve. When she went to re-reserve a room for the one night there were no rooms available. Odd because I just cancelled the resrvation. Too bad the system doesn't update quickly enough to show the available room. Too bad I did not get to stay there at all. Very bummed.
Pros: Great location. Rooms have a small fridge with freezer, two burner stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and some pots and pans.
Large rooms and large balcony. We had a "mountain view" which was cheaper and looked towards the river, but with a parking lot and pool in between, but still lots of mountain to be seen!
Cons: Heat pump fan could not be set to stay on all the time so it woke us up over and over again throughout the night. Room became far too warm to sleep if we turned it off.
Carpets, walls, bathroom grout, etc. need scrubbing, but counters, sheets etc seemed clean.
Cons: Very old sheets, old Capet old everything
Pros: river view room was great
Cons: needs a little sprucing up-ice machines inoperative-general room conditions could stand some improvements
Pros: It is a beautiful setting. Our sliding doors opened up to the river. The pizza restauraunt was good. The breakfast buffet at the other restaurant was ok. We did not try more on the menu.
Cons: The place was in bad repair. One of the electric burners in the kitchenette didn't heat, and when I moved the pan, it sent out sparks. The people above us overflowed their tub. When I called to report the water coming through our bathroom ceiling, the said they knew about it, and were dealing with it. They never came by or called back to check the status of our room. I found a clothing article from a previous guest on the floor, making me wonder how thorougly they had cleaned. I found out that the washing of the dishes in the kitchenette was our responsibility, and that there was no professional sanitizing of the dishes between guests. This place looks like it was nice when it was first built, but now it is not properly cared for, and has sunk below the level of a motel 6 stay. The natural setting on the river is the only thing it has going for it.
Cons: We were originally given a room that already had someone in it.

Pros: My room was quiet and easy to access. The office staff was helpful and friendly. It was a beautiful location.
Cons: My room smelled like cigarette smoke, the shower curtain had moderate amount or mildew and staining, I had a lot of spiders in my room, the room was drafty, the bed was not comfortable, and I had no cell reception.

The All Seasons Groveland Inn is located on California 120 the best corridor from the north and west Yosemite National Park is easily accessible via this highway and is almost never* closed due to inclement weather or overcrowding *Tioga Pass Road may close due to weather or other circumstances.
Pros: I liked the overall comfort of all amenities hotel offers. And how inexpensive the hotel costs.
Cons: I did not like how staff did not inform me of restaurant hours and not very welcoming . Needs better staff attitude and more ways to inform public of their hotel amenities. Also there is no wifi and no cell phone coverage.
Pros: You could tell that the room was cleaned regularly, but everything (bed, chairs, shower, etc) was well traveled.
Cons: Quiet location with close proximity to the valley. Onsite dining isn't great, but the convenience is nice.
Pros: Spacious and clean room
Cons: No cellular service and wifi is not free after you pay $200 per night or more. After paying $10 for 24hrs wifi still it doesn't work well.
Cons: $1.80 for a cup of crappy coffee in the lobby. Why not complimentary?
Cons: Food at restaurant was so so
Pros: Had everything we needed in one place
Pros: Great location close to Yosemite park entrance. Nicely located across from the river. Pleasant outdoor areas, including the area on the river.
Cons: The restaurant was just 'okay'. Our delux room with 2 queen beds and a sofa had only one chair. We would have liked an option with one queen or king bed, a sofa , and a table with 2 chairs. We are a mature couple no children traveling with us. Also, the refrigerator was nice to have but very noisy. We ended up unplugging it.
Pros: Cheap price compared to the other accommodation. Pretty close to Yosemite. Easy check in /check out .
Cons: No phone reception . No wifi . The room is pretty old , but everything is working .
The fans and the heaters are really loud . Even if your neighbors turn them on .
But I would stay there again anyways .
Pros: The service at the front desk, store, bar, restaurant was all around excellent. Everyone was very friendly and super accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. Not too far from Yosemite Nat'l Park.
We go to Yosemite every year and I'll definitely stay at Cedar Lodge again.
Pros: I like the fact that it was close to Yosemite National Park and that it was about a 15 minute drive there. I enjoyed the look of the whole place especially with all the bears around. I enjoyed all of the surroundings view. The food there was GREAT!!! From the buffet to the bar and grill. Fast service and well worth the costs. The staff was great and gave out great information and did not sugar coat anything. Very helpful when it came to information. My wife and I really enjoyed the picnic are across the street we really enjoyed the river and the picnic table there. Very romantic and very quiet area.
Cons: I did not like the fact of paying for a king size room and getting a room with 2 queen beds and over the top of the banquet area where my wife and I had to hear the music and the actual party. They should have taken that in consideration when they gave us the room. i did like the fact of no cell phone signal let alone wifi that is as slow as dial up, but that has nothing to do with the lodge, that's just the location. I did not like that they did not have Coke to drink. A little more variety to drink would have been nice.
Pros: Room was clean and confortable
Cons: There was an extra charge for WiFi which was not disclosed until after you booked the reservation. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 7:30 and lacked variety in the choices.
