The location was reasonably quite with only a little aircraft noise from the nearby airport.

My room was very small and had a strong smell. However when I complained, I was moved to a double room. This had a small childs wardrobe that was not tall enough to hang my suit carrier. The bathroom was outside the room but private, except there was no lock on the door. The quirky furniture was not too my taste, but the bed was comfortable. Rugs on the floors were horribly dirty, and I made an effort not to stand on them in the bathroom.

The staff was very helpful and bent over backwards to help us when there turned out to be a booking mistake.

The website said it was only 1.5 miles from the airport, but that wasn't true and the taxi was expensive to get there. Also, although we made a booking over the internet, when we arrived the staff had no idea about our reservation. We were almost left with no place to stay. Apparently the boss wrote down the wrong date--and this isn't the first time. Always call this place to confirm, or you may be left high and dry.
