Convienent location Dreadfull catering & and catering staff
The staff is very friendly and hard working The trains are very loud
Clean and wide room very low water pressure from the tap
the mattress and bedding was excellent paying for the parking
Easy to find location from website and is signposted when on the approaching road. Polite friendly staff and clean hotel.
Charged for 2 breakfast but was alone. Should have asked me first before charging.
It's in a great central location, so you can go out in Crawley & eat/drink/shop etc. Even though it's next to the railway line, we didn't hear the trains. Hotel decoration lovely, very clean, very helpful staff and it has excellent facilities. Our room was very spacious & they'd thought of everything. En-suite was huge compared to other hotels, it had a separate bath & shower. Lots of thought had been put into the design & comfort of the room/hotel. Really pleased with the hotel & we'd definately stay there again, especially if we were taking our daughter, as there are connecting rooms. Also have a shuttle bus to Gatwick airport which is really close by, but again didn't hear any noise from the planes.
wide and clean room The reservation through Arora hotel web site does not work.
Generally good, but WiFi sign in system a hassle and card swipe door keys real pain rarely if ever worked first time and usually took 3-4 tries at least.
Very near the railway station -
close to station, high standrad of facilities, excellent food.
TV control doesn't work
the room was clean and tidy on arriving at the hotel you have to pay for your car parking even for the time you are staying in the hotel. The hotel even those it has a 4 star rating there is no one to take your bags and show you to your room
restful & quiet atmosphere, giving us time to unwind after a hectic 6week tour of the U.K.. Staff were helpful & very pleasant,& food was great.
Very close to Gatwick Airport. Helpful, friendly staff. Very nice hotel. As window didn't open, had to leave air conditioning on all night which was very noisy, so didn't sleep very well.
Location poor from airport ....No Air con in rooms and windows couldnt open .Water cold in shower ...a dreadful experience for a Ramada Hotel .
The room was very clean and comfortable. The que for checking in was quite long and we waited a while.
Absolutely aweful service, terrible customer relations, poor food.. no choice. Room service was a joke! Had to help other customers...
very clean / friendly staff limited wine list that was overly expensive.
It was fair stay but not comfortable......the service must improve ...also the menu must be changed and finally the stafff must inform their customers about the breakfast time,we asked the reception and they said breakfast is served till 10.30pm and when we came down at 9.30..they advsied that it's finished... service and menu....
First time I have had to pay for a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. The whole point in staying near the hotel is that normally you get free courtesy transport
Convenient location Noise of air conditioning system, inability to get fresh air into room, always having to wait for attention at reception
it was IN the airport terminal The terminal is DEPRESSING. No WINDOWS! It’s like a little luxury prison cell. There was no private area in the hotel to do online work, went to one of the more human feeling pub-like restaurants.
So convient in the south terminal at gatwick. Clean and everything you need for one night. Didn't hear any planes, which I was worried about.
Very comfy bed and very friendly staff! Shower wasn't separated from the rest of the bathroom, so the entire bathroom floor was soaked.
It had a quiet peaceful atmosphere and is reasonably close to the airport
Close proximity to Gatwick Airport pleasant reception area to relax after a long journey Poor reception on TV in rooms.I had 2 rooms and had travelled for more than 2 hours and we all wanted to unwind before eating
Location Near Airport, Bar Meals Available, Free Transport Pick Up Just Pay £4 pp For Hoppa Bus Return To Airport.Very Reasonable Hotel Stopover All Round Good Value Airport Overnight Hotel.
I Parking was next to impossible because of the number of cars belonging to people using Gatwick, cars were coming and going at all hours. Had I known it was a Gatwick Parking hotel I would have gone elsewhere. The hotel advertising should indicate that their main guests were people travelling through Gatwick.
Although we didn't use the car parking facility, it is very good value for momey. The shuttle bus was on time, clean and convenient. The bar prices were expensive. We had to carry all our luggage for a two week holiday upstairs as there was no lift
nice big rooms Reception staff could of been better, they put me in the wrong room twice!
I liked nothing about the hotel. The staff on arrival where rude and un friendly. The staffs attitude. We booked a meet and greet and ended up waiting a further 20 minutes for my car to turn up. This was even when we contacted them as soon as we had landed.
Large clean rooms with good facilities and hotel was easy to find.
Very conveniently located and food was good. When we first checked in, the TV didn't work and it was no trouble for staff to change us to another room - we were staying 4 nights. Mattress on our bed was not comfortable and bed creaked every time we moved - not good for a mature couple.
ease of check in and airport transfers stairs to rooms
Location, comfort, friendly atmosphere. I liked everything.
quite and welcoming, staff were helpful. Limited parking
Excellent service - nice clean room Difficult to find - put the full address on the website
Good location and price. Good Friendly Service None really, although it would have been handy to have a mirror on the dressing table
The staf were very pleasant and helpful, the room was comfortable and warm and certainly value for money My bed was not made at all or the sheets changed in the 3 nights I stayed there and neither were the coffe/tea replenished. I was surprised that they did not have wifi or free to view TV but only the 5 Terestrial staions.
Friendly and helpfull staff
staff was nice all the time. A bit of a language problem I guess. Had a problem to get to operate the safe but the gemtleman could not figure it out, but no big deal anyway. and 2. the wide angle lens of the camera sure does a good job in disguising the truth. The room looked spacious on the website, but once we experienced it , was a different story. Quite small I must say but it was clean , just that one gets a different impression when you see the pics on the website.
Very friendly staff. Overall this is a hotel whose staff are trying hard to do well and getting it right.
Very friendly people.
rooms were great, clean & tidy plenty of Tea & coffee resonable room service if required nothing
We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a club room which was excellent. Also good value for money
Shuttle service to Gatwick airport not frequent enough
I wish there was a shuttle to transport you to and from the airport
Location and price - clean and very good and professional staff
The hotel was excellent, I would recomend to a friend
Very clean , very good service , near to main shops etc. The size of the executive rooms .APPROX 9 FT SQUARE ! We could hardly get our suitcases in to unpack ,take turns in moving about the room . Having paid top rate for this room I did not expect a box room .
I was upgraded upon arrival
Easy access, good value. Restaurant food was quite expensive, and food sounded good, but was plain.
I thought the rooms were fantastic and I really liked the small lavendar spray. Its the little things that can make a difference.
Leisure Facilities were good & Courtesy Bus Bus was Handy & on time! Food in Cube Restaurant was poor & didn't fit the description of it as on the Menu. Also paying 2.00 per person for Bread was a bit much as it should come with the meal (especially as we had the Chowder/soup!) I've also put some of these comments on the questionnaire that was in our room.
Conduct of the staff, & condition of the room
lack of air conditioning meant a choice of a noisy fan, personally over-heating, or opening the window to significant road noise.
Large and clean room, late check-out Transfer from airport both ways cost 28pounds, so total cost of stay equal to 4 star hotel in airport without transfer.
Good service, clean room, nice sized comfiy bed.
the staff were exellent, very helpfull and friendly!!
Nice bar, friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent service, good size room, plenty of parking A little difficult to find but only because google maps showed it in the wrong place!
Reliable comfortable clean modern accommodation. With a 'Good Night's Sleep' policy. The choice to pay for any luxuries rather than built into the cost. Busy road outside but it didn't keep us awake.
Friendly staff and very helpful. Great room, clean and tidy. If you are eating in the evening be careful with your selection. Some of the meat cuts leave a lot tobe desired.
I thought the whole experiance was very good. The staff where really lovely and very friendly, I would highly recomend this hotel.
Very comfortable and clean hotel. Breakfast was the worst part. poached egg was over done and cold.My friend had a fried breakfast which was also cold.
, quiet, clean short staffed took 20 minutes to get my bill after dinner
It was convenient to the airport and offered free parking. It was relatively inexpensive and comfortable. I had no problems at this hotel.
This is a brand new Premier Inn. Everything was spotless. Large, free car park. Helpful young man near the automatic check in desk, providing advice on how to use the machine, though to be honest, it wasn't difficult and if he hadn't been there, I could have managed! Spacious room, well designed...Premier Inn with everything clean and in perfect working order. There was even an ice cream machine...yummy! Nothing to dislike about it!
The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay for an early morning flight from Gatwick. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean & comfortable, the usual high standard I have come to expect from premier inn. Nothing at all, it was perfect!!
Breakfast was good and reasonably priced Hotel staff on hand but had to check in via computer; booked a quad room, placed in a double room; quad room was a double room with 2 cots, very tight quarters; gated entrance allowed all to enter but needed code to leave the premises which wasn't provided since not waited on by staff, had to walk back to the lobby since parking lot was a one way to request code
The whole place
Location was good for our needs. Good friendly service from staff all round. I have stayed here many times over the years and I still have the one same negative comment. It is the multitudinous fire doors. Yes, I understand they are needed, but: need there be so many, and even more important, do they have to be a strength test to open them! This hotel has the most entry resistant fire doors in the UK!!
Hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Additionally, it is ideally located for easy access to Gatwick Airport - good shuttle bus service available. nothing
quitetness of the hotel club room was a bit small
friendly, traditional English atmosphere A little bit in need of modernisation and full internet connection in rooms
Mould around the bath tiles - not what we expected from a four star hotel. Cot was a basic travel cot and not a proper one.
loved it not really i enjoyed it
Quiet location, easily accessible to Gatwick airport, breakfast choices plentiful, courteous and helpful staff. Our room had an unpleasant odor, as if someone had been sick and the carpets had just been cleaned and weren't quite dry. Just our impression, otherwise everything else was in order. Would have liked screens on the window because we had to air the room. No complaints.
Convenience, good staff, well presented, and guests reasonably quiet so one could get a restful stay Facilities around the hotel limited golf course, pitch and putt or something similar would be nice for those staying more than 1 day. Archery, suggest extend the jogging trial to a countryside walk etc.
quaintness of the setting and hotel facility. Closeness to the airport
Clean quiet room. Large room. No frills so good price. Quality of breakfast was average. But good value for money oif that is what you are after.
Nice and clean Extractor fan in bathroom very inefficient
We were very comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the restuarant had a good selection and the food was excellent. They made sure we had a wake up call and called us a taxi for our trip to the airport. nothing
Clean hotel, efficient, polite and very helpful staff - no quibbles in the slightest about my stay there. Plus the food at the Gatwick Manor pub is terrific!
Nearness to Gatwick Airport Heating system in room was poor
Clean, comfortable and spacious. None.
Everything was great, the room the staff and the food.
Excellent value, clean and spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff Check in was a little slow
Polite staff at reception, clean, close to airportand great restaurant No small van to bring guests to hotel bus leaves u on the road had to take taxi back please bring back the van
nice country house, friendly staff, cuddly labrador retriever greeting guests access is a problem, cost of single cab fare is 15 pounds, round trip from wirport brings cost to about the same level as the airport hotels with shuttle service.
Staff/Owners were very friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and in a fantastic location. Would stay there again The early morning flights out of Gatwick wake you up
Ideal for my overnight stay after a local wedding. Excellent staff and would recommend. Rather difficult to find after nightfall.
I spent just 1 night there as a layover. I felt very much at home. I wish that I had spent a longer time there to really look around.
It was only an annexe to Ifield Court but could not cope with catering in the evening; but was convenient for the airport. Friendly on Gatwick flight path and heating bwas inadequate.
Friendly, unobtrusive staff. Wonderful views at breakfast (spotted deer, fox and squirrels). Room 7 (next to the kitchen) was very noisy & to be avoided. Constant clatter of dishes, radio and voices seeped through walls. Also no towels in room but this I suspect was merely an oversight and not a big problem as I'd brought my own.
Excellent value for the price airport transfers and parking
My room had a great view of a field. I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the occasional deer come by. Also, they have several lovely acres to walk around.
The owners were very friendly. It felt very much home from home. Rooms were small, but extremely well equipped, so the lack of space wasn't an issue. We were only stopping over night anyhow.
very good value for money!!!
the rooms are quite spacious, beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water and the pub next door has great food. The location is great, exactly 5 mins away from gatwick south terminal no lift but the hotel has got only one floor up so shouldn't be a problem anyway
Perfect as a stopover hotel for Gatwick airport. Very handy for the Airparks Long stay carpark (only 5 mins drive).
The room was of a higher standard than expected. the public house next door offered an excellent selection of food for breakfast and service was good and the food hot. Food at the public house finished at 9pm, and could have been later or could offer bar meals for late arrivals.
The young woman at the reception desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet. There was no electrical outlet at the bedside for my medical device. The location of the hotel was very difficult to find.
pub next door, excelent breakfast, good value meals. bath/shower,for elderley people a seperate shower is a must, with a replacement hip it is not possible to climb into a bath to have a shower, this is something that needs urgent attention.
only an 0vernight stay but made most wecome by staff food excellent in pub will def use premier again thankyou
Spacious room All very pleasant and convenient for the purpose of my stay with a largish group of adults. Have stayed there before and likely to do so again. Only a duvet provided. The option of a sheet and blanket would be good.
Quiet surroundings, friendly staff and traditional pub adjacent plus within very easy reach from Gatwick Airport.
Freindly /helpful staff,good clean room,well priced,good reasonable priced food,easy to arrange stay,will use again.
Access to motorway & Crawley
Nothing stands out as being particularly special. The hotel was adequate for what we required, stop over for Gatwick airport.
The spaciousness of the hotel and its relative quiet. Room furnishings. Yes. the bathroom was not clean and had no soap, the passages and stairs needed new carpets and paintwork. There was no TV changer and none was supplied during a two day stay. Staff were reluctant to put meals and drinks on to the hotel bill and asked for cash. The carvery food was second rate by carvery standards. Check in was slow and confused.
Very slow service for bar food, which was of poor quality. Shower water was cold/luke warm.
used it as a stopover for an early flight the following day, good value with plenty of affordable holiday parking options
Clean adequate and comfprtable. My room was also very quiet. Nothing
reception staff friendly helpful and efficient. room comfortable and spacious, generous tea/coffee/toiletries. bar comfortable and relaxing, food good value, breakfast wide choice and well cooked. thought leisure facilities were included in price as in blackpool cliffs. disappointed to find they wernt. welcoming staff at breakfast was a little sharp in her interrogation of if youd paid. could have been handled, more tactfully.
It was easy to find.It was very close to the motorway and it was very easy t5o get away from The hotel was quite possibly the worst (decor, service, food, facilities, staff and parking) I have ever experienced-anywhere in the world.
We only used the Hotel for a stop-over for a flight from Gatwick. It was very convenient with the transfer bus and this was the reason we booked the Hotel N/A
Practical and comfortable
...only the kind staff Everything...except the staff. Old, dusty hotel. HORRIBLE rooms and bathrooms... Stay only if its an emergency and if you just need 1 night to visit someone around that area near the so called "hotel"...or maybe Dracula's Manor.
on both occasions the bathrooms were dirty. on the first occasion the wake up failed to matieralise.
The hotel was clean, room was quite spacious, clean and with good proximity to airport parking with free parking. The hotel was within walking distance to Crawley centre and there was a Harvester just outside the hotel.
Room was clean, comfortable and pleased that a kettle and tea were provided. Breakfast was more than adequate. Room was your best point. Check-in was nothing short of a disaster. I waited 55minutes before getting to the desk to check-in. There was only on person on duty and her workload was overwhelming. She had problems with your booking system and as the queue to check-in built, we were asked to take a seat and wait, while she worked hard to cope with every other enquiry that the hotel had. But, I have to stress she was doing her best and maintained as a polite of attitude as she could, despite angry customers. You must have at least two people on the desk at busy time and I blame you management rather that the girl on the desk. Not Good at all.
Good value for the money, clean room, good breadfast, free newspaper, nice tv, helpful, failrly friendly staff, good location to the train station to London. You know, I would have to dig to find them, say for instance, the eggs and sausages were not hot, hot, they were well warm - but this is not a complaint, it is the reality of the situation and I am so thankful to have a breakfast. There was not room safe, but we didn't leave any valuables in the room anyhow. Oh, no bus service to the hotel.
the friendlyness of staff and excellent service xx nothing, was perfect
Friendly, clean, good breakfast None
Very comfortable bed, smart decor, v smart bathroom, v quiet
Value for money. Location.
Clean and tidy room, good choice and standard for the 'continental' breakfast. Coffee very good, for a hotel. Hotel staff very helpful when the electronic door lock failed to work. Room walls thin... very noisy! Couple next door. Pillows very uncomfortable The electronic door lock failed locking us out.
Good price and decor Very near rail station Very good breakfast Value for money motel!! Good shower 1 tv Station seletion poor. Normal 1-5 station bbc itv etc about 4-5 sport then the rest seemed to be movie selection which had to be paid for a sure money maker for motel company given that there is a great many free channels that could be included 2 No heater in bathroom, and as there is air extraction it makes it cold 3 We were only given 1 'card key' and have to insert card into a card reader that lets you have power to room hence when one leaves the room and takes card key to go out for a meal etc all power is cut off, so room goes cold....not good 4 No info in room regarding local eating venues 5 No radio/ alarm clock by bed 6 No spare blanket in case of cold etc 7 As the motel shares parking with Harvester eating venue there may be on busy nights a lack of parking
Staff were friendly nd helpful at all times z
