Pros: I loved the room!!! It’s beautiful, full of history, very spacious and there is a terrace to the garden. Perfect!
Cons: There is too much light early morning. A blackout shutter would be nice to sleep a bit more.
Pros: We spent 3 nights at Critabianca and can only say we had a wonderful time! It's an old (16th century) family-run summer house just outside the small village of Cutrofiano surrounded by fields and private houses. It's ideally located in between the East and the West coasts so that in around 25 minutes by car one can reach Otranto and Gallipoli. The premises have been beautifully and attentively renovated by the Ghione family, who we found extremely courteous and attentive to their guests. At our arrival we were welcomed by the hosts, showed around and offered a typical "leccese coffee" along with a slice of freshly home-made cake. We stayed in the "Balcony room" which we found quiet, very clean and nicely furnished with local hand-made ceramic crafts. Breakfast was simply delicious: every day we could choose among fresh fruits, local products such as cheeses and ham, freshly baked bread and cakes.. Everything beautifully presented! Undoubtedly, Critabiana excels in both its attention to detail and care for its guests! Roberto and Nicoletta were very helpful in giving us useful suggestions about both the history of the region and what to do. We would love to go back!
Pros: Amazing hospitality from the owners, they go the extra mile to make you feel at home and happy. Attention to details and care for extra quality is visible across the whole property. Excellent breakfast and dinner as well, with home made and local products. Fantastic stay!
Pros: The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home, and they offered extremely helpful advice as to where to eat and what to see in the area. The plein air breakfasts were outstanding, with home-baked cakes and breads, fresh cheeses, fresh squeezed juices, fruits and homemade jams. This was an extremely special experience and one that we will treasure.
Pros: The hospitality of the family is unbelievable! Wish we could have stayed longer...
Pros: We were met on arrival by the family owners and during of three days stay they were the most hospitable , helpful and informative hosts . The fully restored country home offered an extemely high level of comfort. The food was amazing, in our opinion equal to Michelin standard. Breakfast and dinner primarily utilised local produce prepared and delivered with style and innovation. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable Salento experience .
Cons: there was absolutely nothing negative about this property
Pros: Breakfast was outstanding, ambiance was second to none, possibly the most hospitable, welcoming and elegant place that I have been lucky enough to stay in.
Cons: loved it all!
Pros: Words will never be able to describe the most amazing stay we had. The property is absolutely beautiful, pure luxury. So much care and attention to detail has been taken in restoring the Masseria. I was in awe the entire time at the beauty of the property. The overall experience is the best we’ve ever had. The entire family are the most beautiful people. We felt like we belonged and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner prepared by the family with produce from the garden was the best food I’ve ever had. The rooms and facilities are clean, spacious and simply stunning. I’ll be back to this Masseria and will be recommending it to everyone. It has been one of the best experiences.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfection!
Pros: A piece of Heaven in the center of Puglia
Pros: A wonderful family, the best hosts on our whole trip through Italt, marvellous hospitality and overall an outstanding experience

Pros: A truly Puglian experience. Fantastic hosts that did everything to make us feel welcome. One day it rained and they suggested plenty of activities. The evening meal of traditional rustic local food was fantastic and great value for money. We look forward to returning soon.
Pros: Massive house in the middle of nowhere. very clean pool, excellent staff very attentive homemade cakes etc for breakfast, and the evening meal was also amazing
Pros: We loved the location and the beautiful building which was full of character. The three sisters who run the hotel are absolutely charming and very welcoming. We dined at the hotel 3 nights out of 4 and loved the food. This is a truly special place to stay.
Cons: Nothing - it is idyllic.
Pros: Great home cooked dinner with local produce and wine at a great price €20 pp plus drinks €15 a bottle of wine
Cons: Travel adaptor doesn't fit in 2 hole socket!
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. Very traditional and fresh. The three sisters who run this property take a lot of pride in providing an authentic stay and sharing the family tradition.
Pros: We chose this place because it was near the venue for our nieces wedding. It was so peaceful, beautiful, clean and ran by three wonderful sisters. Top notch service, they were very accommodating. Food was all so fresh and delicious.
Cons: Nothing !!
Pros: Been here before with my boyfriend. Amazing place to stay. I love it!! Will be coming back soon. Warm welcome as always! Best breakfast i've had so far in any b&b. Top quality!

Pros: Excellent central location for those who wish to visit all the wonderful southern "Maldives" beaches (between Gallipoli and Otranto) and to reach the nearby cities of Salento (Bari, Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto, etc.), which are all in half an hour to one hour of car drive. The location is specialized for the holding of weddings but please do not worry about the potential related disturbances, we have not experienced any. The location is very calm and relaxing, it is like a big farm (but without animals, of course, except for some cats) with superb natural environment. The indoor spa and the outdoor pool are both fantastic. Breakfast is perfect. Strong Wi-Fi is available. Hotel staff is polite and responsive. We have really had a great time here!
Pros: The staff were great - residents pool area was just beautiful and private from the other guests. Breakfast was a total treat and dinners served outside were beautiful. Quality of food couldn't be faulted.
Pros: It was a magnificent property and the staff were very helpful and listened to our concerns. They did their utmost to ensure we had a satisfactory stay.
Cons: This magnificent looking hotel clearly caters well for weddings but was very quiet, which we didn't mind if the facilities had been available for all guests not just wedding guests - there was no weddings being held during our stay? We were advised we could not use the main pool as that was for 'wedding' guests only? The 2nd pool was a 10 minute walk from the hotel which we initially struggled to find with no washroom facilities made evident by the pool although we were told at the end of the stay where they were??? We had to request a member of staff to serve drinks/food. The pool was not particularly clean either. No view from the hotel room and partner kept hitting is head on the low, curved archway.
Pros: The rooms were spacious, well furnished and deliciously cool. But the best part of the hotel was the pool, it was sheltered, heated, quiet and had a fantastic array of places to sit in and out of the sun. Finally, although a little way from the main hotel building, there was a member of staff on hand at all times to bring you food and drink. It was a spectacular way to relax.
Cons: Make sure your bedroom is away from the function room. We were initially kept awake by a wedding, but the staff were fantastically understanding and upgraded us to another room which was very quiet.
Pros: The resort is huge and absolutely great. You definitely need a car. Unfortunately the next restaurants are 20 minutes drive away. The restaurant in the resort is very nice. We stayed there for two days in mid of Septemer what was low season. There were only a few guests what was very nice also for using the Spa more or less alone. The Gym is well equiped for cardio and weights. At least: Breakfast was very good, large variety on cheese, cold cuts, cereals, cooked eggs and scrambled eggs on request.
Cons: nothing to complain
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the veranda was delightful with a beautiful view. The staff we very attentive and polite yet friendly. The hotel as a whole was fantastic, the food was delicious.
Cons: I presumed the booking included use of the spa but it didn't so we paid extra to use it. It was worth the extra money.
Pros: Good pool, nice well maintained gardens Comfortable bedroom but small
Cons: This is really a wedding venue, we were disturbed by the noise every night till the early hours once by unexpected fireworks, The restaurant food was unimaginative and repetitive.
Pros: Nice house.
Cons: The location is not very good if you want to visit other places, there’s nothing around. As we were there out of season, there weren’t a lot of guests and therefore the Spa was closed.

Pros: Very nice clean and comfort room, excellent breakfast. The hosts were very helpful and kind. The garden and the pool were wonderful. I will visit it again!!!
Pros: Beautiful laidback property run but fantastic happy hosts Clemy and Luigi. They went out of their way to take care of us, the kids and our mum. The breakfast spread was thoughtful and quite substantial. Clemy included heaps of local produce and special treats for our boys. The property itself is quite with a very relaxing pool, where we could laze around all afternoon before heading to a nearby town for Dinner. The pictures don’t quite do it justice- is was much better in person, lots of lavender and very old orange trees make for a truly special place. Very happy to recommend!
Pros: We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here with our children. It must be the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! It is always absolutely spotless, inside and out. The outside area is very pretty and quiet and the pool was exceptional - big and clean with lovely surroundings. Bottled water is provided free of charge and there are shared fridges, a lovely outside terrace and a drying rack for clothes. Very well located for Gallipoli and Lecce day trips. We ate out in Aradeo (very close) and also had a fabulous meal in nearby Galatina. Lots of eating choices. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee perfect, all in a lovely setting. Thank you to Clementina for her hospitality and flexibility, very much appreciated by all of us, we hope to come again.

Pros: Room opened onto terrace. Nicely stocked fridge.
Pros: Comfy bed Good breakfast served in the garden Parking was easy
Cons: Room and corridors were extremely hot. Anyway a/c in the room works perfectly and is quiet.
Pros: Proximity to the wedding we were attending and very attentive and courteous staff
Cons: Some of the breakfast items were uncovered and so there were some flies around the cakes , all items could easily be kept under covers or cake stands
Pros: Good value. Clean and as it should be. Lift (elevator) available. Town has the best pizza place ever.
Cons: A car is a must because the hotel is on the outskirts. The score is correct but overvalues the enjoyment, because in early September we were the only residents, so rather sterile socially.
Pros: Beautiful room in the centre of cutrofiano! Rustic and traditional decor, roof terrace for eating outside. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday with a real Italian feel! Nice restaurants & coffee bars 2 minutes walk from Otium House. Short drive (30-40 minutes) from Gallipoli.
