nice design and excellent food. The staff is brilliant
Countryside location, great pool. We were astonished by the beautiful hotel site. It looked like in a fairytale! We had to pay for the towels in the pool area and it was required to buy bathing caps for use in the pool. The breakfast and dinner was good, but the catering staff did not appear extremely motivated.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful, professional and polite. The Masseria is amazingly beautiful and charming and the location is perfect as it's located few kilometers away from any of the Salento's most interesting villages and towns. Unfortunately, our bathroom was quite old (I would say about 20 years...) and the shower had a carton instead of a door. However, both room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The breakfast was good but not very rich in quantity and quality. We were expecting typical products but a part from the cakes and the pastries, the rest (jams, honey, marmalade, yogurt and juices) were from mass distribution.
The room was spacious, impressive murels on the ceiling. Nice pool area but not many chairs if it had been very busy & no umbrellas. Food very good and staff especially on reception very helpful & informative. Beautiful buildings. As it was isolated, it was disappointing there was no bar/lounge area serving all types of drinks hot & cold drinks & snacks other than crisps during the day & evening. During the day it would have been nice to have a sandwich & latte but there was nothing available. Also nowhere to relax after dinner.
Masseria Appidé is a beautiful and peaceful hotel in the middle of Salento's wonderful countryside. Excellent position between Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli for those who wish to discover the delights of Salento in few days by car. The hotel is so clean that you have to wear a swimming cap in the pool...
Stayed 3 nights in August 2010 for an average of 180€/night breakfast included. Very nice modern hotel ideally located in Corigliano d'Otranto in the heart of the Salentino peninsula. 2-stories suites are clean and spacious with a queen bed, a sleeper sofa, a dining table, large closets, a full-sized bathroom with shower. Bar fridge & tv. Free wifi on request. Facilities include a restaurant for breakfast & half-board dinners, a large swimming pool, a magnificent garden, and a horse center. The staff are extremely helpful and speak good English.
Excellent. We were treated very well from the moment we arrived until we left Superb room and surroundings Difficult to find even with GPS,should have sign posts from the town
Unforgettable experience, altough it is not perfect (what do you expect from a building from the 18th century), the enviremont, the pace, the friendly staff and offcourse the fantastic kitchen blowed any critic away. For us a small paradise!!!!
The staff were lovely and most helpful a charming little village away from every thing. Katia is a delightful young lady and a pleasure to deal with. There is not much to do in the way of entertainment but if you emmerse yourself in the local village it was great Directions it was hard to find and is a little way out of Lecce, But the rooms were lovely and clean and the one we stayed in was a reasonable size but not huge. Katia Directed us to a beautiful restaurant within walking distance which was fantastic (they speak no English)!!! The Tannery itself was interesting and the renovation has been done to a very high standard.
very friendly staff, nice & clean room, generous breakfast
Having no half or full board.
This hotel is really nice! The rooms are very cute, the person in charge of the breakfast is very kind. Everything is very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you intend to do a trip in Puglia. Maglie is very close to Otranto, Lecce and the south, so very convenient. The hotel location is also very convenient as it close to the main shops street. It was much better than I expected!
Staff was really interested and helpful. Beautiful location in the old centre. Apartment are located in an old tannery with some typical elements still remaining. Not easy to find good restaurants in maglie.
Location to the centre of town was good. The quirkiness of the hotel was interesting being part of an old roman building. Difficult to find as street is not shown on sat nav and the hotel is not signposted in the town. No facilities at the hotel other than breakfast and there were no local bars near by for a drink after a meal.
Staff was extremely nice and made always extra effort to make us enjoy our holiday. Room was wonderful - a bit different setting than previous hotels we have stayed in.
staff are kindly. breakfast is late. internet cannot available.
I liked this place because it also had a museum and very interesting history behind it. The hotel also had modern touches, which I liked. The breakfast was poor. Could of been better.
We enjoyed the nice ambiente of the hotel and the very friendly/helpful service of the staff (esp. From Katia)
Quiet surroundings and beautiful garden. The swimming pool. Directions but that could have been my fault. Breakfast could have been a little more inspiring.
the surroundings breakfast could have been more varied
Hotel owner was lovely. Drive through the olive groves very pleasurable. Breakfast quite under par. Very little day light in the room. A bath would have been nice as it was a suite that we booked. Would possibly recommend as a summer location but not winter.
Room is out of date
swiming pool area except week end because they let people from the village to come in. swiming pool too crowed on week end. rate is a bit expensive for the area, 98 euros. our room superior only nice but standard normal, not too big. Breakfast very poor and staff not too disposed. Some areas of the stairs to the swiming pool really dusty. Room decoration is a littele barroque
We enjoyed our stay at nicolardi's because of the level of service and cleanliness. The kitchen is outstanding serving local specialities but also the classics if required, and this at a more than acceptable cost! It is a perfectly situated hotel for excursions either to otranto (east coast) or gallipolli (west coast) or s.m. di leuca (south cape of the peninsula)
Absolute must go: don't sleep anywhere else ! Very confortable beds, quiet location, brand new hotel, spacious rooms, very clean and absolute personal care by the familial managment - feel like home atmosphere if you have a car, go to that hotel, perfect central position (gallipoli-otranto-s.m leuca)
garden, cakes wi-fi
Great place. Great, very helpful and very friendly owners and staff. Outstanding hospitality. Beautiful garden – real peaceful paradise. Excellent location for visiting Lecce and all amazing small towns of Salento . Splendid (English) breakfast. No dinner on-site but in the neighborhood you can find quite a few local restaurants with fabulous local cuisine.
beautiful lush gardens, great pool and very friendly staff who are willing to do what they can to accommodate or help you. This included letting us stay on through the day after we had checked out of the room to make full use of the pool before leaving. family room had bunk bed for children but there was no safety rail for the upper bunk. We got round this by putting the mattress on the floor.
Very nice and beautiful place. The staff was very very welcoming and helpful. Nice rooms and good beds. Best krouasan in breakfest.
Beautiful property, very nice accomodations and staff. Quiet area, the ideal place to relax and to enjoy Apulia.
A nice location. A very nice welcome. Good advise for trips. Very relaxing. Good breakfast.
