the room was clean, there was no hassle at reception everythig was in place. the room smelled a bit musty it needed airing especially as they knew guests were coming in.
Easy access to the tube Car park, could be cleaner, third floor room and no lift, no jaccuzzi
The hotel was situated close to the venue we required. The hotel room was tired, dull and not all together clean. The room was booked as a double but we recieved a room with two single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets instead of a double.
Very conveniently situated, close to tube trains, buses, shops and restaurants. Greatest boon for me was having a car park. Stayed on a very warm Saturday night, and was unable to keep the windows open because of the noise from the cocktail bar and night club.
The staff was friendly; I had a parking space; the immediate access to the tube (Central Line) and main roads for a quick get-away; the use of the WLAN; the English Breakfast; the room was clean; the bed was comfortable; the easy access from London-Stansted airport. Overall, I had a really nice stay and would come back anytime. That the bed rolled away when leaning against the wall to watch TV (just a minor thing that can easily be fixed by a stopper).
Het is een eenvoudig hotel. Onze kamers waren schoon, bedden waren goed. Prijs was in goede verhouding met kamers
it was good for the money. i didn't like the tiny bed
Great value and breakfast included in the rate.No aircon but windows opened OK. No parking available in hotel grounds - forced to park in public car park 500 metres away. Because windows opened for air the traffic noise was quite audible as room face the main road!
The location is good, very near to the tube station. Rooms are satisfactory according to the price. The staff on the reception was too rude and asked for full payment at arrival, although this was never mentioned earlier. We stayed there on the weekend and the music of the local pub was too annoying and we were not able to sleep
Friendly, very clean & comfortable and being able to park was a bonus, extremely good value for money. Breakfast was greasy & cold, and our table was not cleaned from the previous people, we went down for breakfast at 9.30am, there were no other clean tables available.
The staff were exremely helpful and cheerful. The breakfast facilities and food were of the highest order. Unable to turn off bathroom tap but contact with the main desk resulted in an immediate response and a satisfactory resolution. Did overhear French guests not being sure of the proceedure at the breakfast bar.
we had a pleasant stay the staff were friendly and polite and we would definitely stay there again. Powercut.
This is my third stay at this hotel it is well located for trips to London, Bluewater and Bexleyheath shopping centre. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. I like the fridge in the room and ice making machine in the corridor so you can relax with a glass of wine in the room. Check out is fast and efficient and breakfast is good. No complaints
Room & service No drinking water, fruit etc., in a premier room
The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean! Everything was very good on the whole
Very clean and spacious room. Good quality food. Hotel was going through refurbishment - it was no problem but meant it was not as its very best. No instructions on arriving by train - I tried to walk to the hotel from the station - a serious mistake!
The room was very nice and bright and very clean. we all enjoyed the pool. The electric went off in the evening till 6 in the morning, I was pleased we went out for dinner but on return to the room it was in darkness and had to go straight to bed because you couldnt see anythink.
Location & comfort
We stayed as I had arranged a surprise 95th Birthday Party for my Father. We found all members of staff to be most helpful and couldn't do enough to help us. The food was great on the evening of the party and the breakfast was wonderful. We has my son's wedding reception at the Bexleyheath Marriott enjoyed it so much we decided to do my Dad's partry there. Would reccomend it to others. No bad points.
Staff excellent Restaurant menu, limited choice of "1970,s" food. Disappointing for a supposed 4star hotel
Walking distance to London subway (10-15 mionutes), next door to gas and Tesco supermarket, plenty of free gated parking, best price around for a London area hotel. No air conditioning, and city noise is loud when window is open. Rooms are very small, no chairs.
Nice hotel and good value for money not sure that its 5* nothing to complain about
Staff were friendly and efficient
upgraded to suite
Clean room, helpful staff Too hot in room, as we were on ground floor couldn't leave window open.
Easy to find, staff very pleasant Room maybe a bit too warm, plus road noise problems
Excellent hotel, very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Staff all very helpfl and pleasant. Resurant is superb had a really great family meal.
the room was quiet, comfortable, and clean, as the staff were very helpful, there was a lovely park up the street and there was a bus stop near to go to the train station.Good value for money The part of the hotel we stayed at was not adjacent to the hotel it was accross the road and you could not sit in a lounge and relax with a drink in the evening. The impression we got it had grounds around the hotel but it is onto a street and so are the adjacent rooms
Jason was very helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a quiet room at the back of the annex, overlooking the car park, trees and squirrels. We thought the breakfasts were expensive so we chose to eat elsewhere.
Everything needed was there Expensive as breakfast was not included.
It was a nice quality hotel, shower and bed very good!!!
Warm wellcome ,very nice Hotel staff in All very satisfied Everything
Everything as it should be. Room was overlooking main road.Poor nights sleep due to traffic and police cars.
Very polite attentive staff. Made a point to check we were ok after small child was sick in the dining area
easay access to motorways /town centre
The lady at check in was outstanding, welcoming and really friendly and told us (me and my teenage daughter) all we needed to know. No bad points at all
Nice size room, clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff People smoking in rooms, incredibly noisey guests reurning to their room at 04.00 and then playing dance music and talking until 06.00!!
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The booking I made online for a family room (triple room) was not passed to Premier Inn as they had no knowledge of it and only had a reservation for a double room. Despite showing my printed reservation confirmation to them.
Could not fault our stay at this Premier Inn None
Too many to mention!! Review has already been left on trip advisor that touches on some of the low points!
The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel could be a little bit tricky to get back to using public transport. It was easy to get into the centre but not as easy to get back.
Value for money it is not luxurious but it is clean friendly with excellent breakfast. Water pressure seems vaiable over 2 stays
helpful reception staff
Breakfast Far from undeground, too cold in the room, absence of tableware
With the price you get this hotel room for, everything it offers is a steal deal. The hotel is located in a calm area but not far from the train station or the center of Ilford. It is very clean and the room service is done everyday. Excellent Wifi and that is free!! I will definetly stay here again if I come to Ilford and ofcourse if the room rate remains within the current range. [Note :The hotel may accomodate the guests in different buildings around the main building and you need to go to the main building for the reception or for breakfast which is like taking 20-30 steps from your room!! No big deal though!!] Nothing
the tranquility and proximity to high street and above to reaching the excel centre in time. saturday and sunday breakfast is servered earlier and the dinning room doors are locked very early in my opinion. I dont think it is necessary to lock the entrance of the dinning room. On wednesday when i was checking out, i went to deposit my case at the dinnig room according to instructions i got from the front desk but to my greatest astonishment i found a male member of staff smoking in the dinning room by the breakfast counter. I think it against policy.
Smoking allowed in room No bathroom. The toilet was in a closet, and the bathtub in the bedroom. The breakfast was very poor. You could feel the springs through the bed.
Nice friendly staff with spacious room. Excellent Halal Breakfast and free wifi+parking was a bonus.Close to Ilford Town centre and shops. Rooms could do woth some renovation.
Location, price Tv Reception very poor, staff could not cope with the amount of guests at breakfast. Therfore standard of food, replacement/ replenishment of jams , milk etc was poor. Only bath towel available no had towel. No phone to call reception.
location to shopping centre. value for money
Rooms clean and comfortable When I arrived at the hotel, there was no booking under my name. They didn't received any booking confirmation from active, but I did! I had wrote two emails at the hotel before my arrival to check the booking. The hotel received my emails (sent reading confirmation), but never answered me. I had the booking confirmation number and I had the print of the booking confirmation sent by active hotels! But people at the desk of the hotel didn't know anything about my booking. Finally I could have the rooms I needed (and the rooms were ok, clean and comfortable), but only because there were vacancies...
Check in/out very good, staff good room only satisfactory as hot water took a long time to come through, and when did,did not stay warm for long, causing problems with showering. Breakfast food very good, but was not in good supply and had to be asked for,and as it was only being kept warm, was very soon going cold as the plates to put it on were cold
Very Old fashioned
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, I particularly want to point out the night porter as I arrived very late both nights and was immediately identified by name and everything was ready for me
Easy to find, it's just off the m25. The Room was spacious and bright. Windows were of poor quality and you could not open or close them. Hot water supply was variable - sometimes there was ample the next second there was none. Make it difficult to have a shower.
Friendly staff at hotel, nice buffet breakfast, full english! Bathroom freezing, room cold even with 2 large radiators as the windows were very draughty and let all the heat out. Water not very hot and water pressure poor no bath plug and taps blocked so could only use the inadequate shower.would of been nice if bed was a bit larger just have small doubles.would go back in summer but not winter.
Carpets, furniture, shower curtain stained. Shower poor, grouting in bath poor. No freeview channels on tv
Tube Station adjacent to hotel Not all staff gave the same level of customer service
Hotel was only 30 mins from liverpool st station. It was good after spending all day in central london to get away to Redbridge. beefeater next door was ideal. We have stayed in over ten different hiltons and i can assure you the breakfast was on a par with them. Our room was immaculate. Bathroom spotless. We paid £260 for 3 nights for 2 adults and 3 children. Really good value. The girl who served us at breakfast was really polite and courteous as were all staff. A really good hotel for a city visit. Check - in not until 2pm which I suppose is understandable but some hotels do start check - ins from 12 noon.
The reception staff were very professional and friendly. Bed too small in disabled room. My daughter's room on the other hand was very comfortable with a big bed.
the staff were very good, helpful and caring. no air conditioning, but a fan was supplied when asked for.
Excellent service and staff. Very attentive and friendly staff whom could not be faulted. Clean, comfortable rooms and suitable for a family of four and was excellent for the tube which was directly opposite the hotel which was a real bonus but it did take one change and about 30 mins to get to any tourist site in London which is just about acceptable I believe. Good value for money Room could be heated but cooling meant leaving a window open but not too noisy. The Inn was a bit out of London if that is where you want to visit but provided you can put up with a tube journey of 30 mins was not really an issue.
It was chosen for convenience, near to our son's student digs, plus right next to a tube station. Premier Inns usually do "what they say on the tin". The rooms are far too hot. No air con and if the windows are opened the traffic noise is very loud.
The friendliness of the staff both at reception and at breakfast. No
Extremely polite attentive and friendly staff.
Polite , easy parking & convenient
The staff were very polite and courteous Yes I am 64 and there was no lift and i had a very full case and a smaller one and no lift, blessedly enough although the receptionist was a petite girl she did help me up the stairs 3 sets of them.My room was near a very busy road and both sets of sliding windows would not get even close to closing to shut out the noise which was all through the night. So thank goodness I was only booked for 1 night.Besides those 2 negatives the rest was very good.
Good heating. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Polite staff. Cleanliness.Good car park. Evidence of gradual refurbishment. Hot water. Light and well carpeted corridors. Poor lighting in the bedroom as two of the three lights - including the bedside light - were broken. No BBC1 on TV. No chair in bedroom.
Availability of family room
45 minutes from center, but very good connections, bus and then tube (gants hill) central line. Staff and breakfast are OK, rooms are quiet old but value for money
Pleasant and helpful staff Infestation of bedbugs
although bar was closed for referbishment staff were all more than helpful
Correct staff, although the hotel highly needs some refurbishment the room was clean. Bed was OK. The furniture is a mixture of very old (and damaged) items of different styles.
the breakfast no chairs / seats in room; thin duvets; small sheets, no matress cover; portable TV with internal ariel - poor reception
fantastic breakfast its an old hotell who needs to be painted and other things. they have started but is far from finished.
in need of modinisation.
Location good, parking good, breakfast good We were locked out when we returned at 11:30pm (even though we were told that reception was manned 24 hours) and staff did not respond to the intercomm bell. After quarter of an hour another customer finally let us in (he was also looking for a member of staff) by opening a fire-door - which set off an alarm.
Really nice, sparkling clean room with quite luxurious fittings - I was pleasantly surprised at the budget price. Location is pretty convenient given the speed of trains from Liverpool Street to Ilford. Walls were quite thin and was woken up early by conversations at reception, and the staff's children running around. Breakfast was toast and cereal - more than adequate at budget prices but a bit unexciting.
New small hotel, quiet neighbourhood, good connection to London (train, underground). Our double room was really very small, but equipped well.
Staff was very helpfull Housekeeping needs to improve
I loved how stylish the room was I would have liked tetley teabags
Location was good. Close to the event. Hotel was noisey. You could hear guest entering and exiting rooms and in the hallway. Better sound insulation is needed within the rooms. Room was small and sparse for the money. Problem with flushing toilet within the room.
Recently refurnised Poor reacability with public transportation room smells smoky (cigaretes) no free internet
Local to meeting Staff had a problem with basic english The room had a put me up bed???? The bar was in the front of the hotel next door to reception could not hear yoyr self think basiclly the hotel fron hell
Reception very friendly and helpful; nice modern; feel rooms very tidy and comfortable; odeal for what I required Nothing springs to mind
Check in staff helpfull Orderd extra pillows at reception, for the room, nothing arrived.
breakfast wasn't bad. room quite dusty, resteraunt poor, people hanging around ouside main door smoking
Cheap and cheerful Not enough channels on the tv
