Anonymous, Aug 2021 - Days Inn by Wyndham Downtown St. Louis
The location is surrounded by several empty warehouses, and the venue is nothing as represented in the pictures. I was given incorrect room key for a room that had occupants. The whole hotel has a rancid smell, the room was filthy, the towels and bedsheets reeked. The shower curtains were covered in mold. The AC was filled with dirt. There was supposed to be free breakfast but then they had inform...

Pros (+) The room was spacious, the staff was also very helpful.
Cons (-) I chose a non-smoking room but when I went into the room it still smelled like smoke. They charge $50 for smoking in a non-smoking room so I made sure I let the front desk know right away. They didn’t give me any issues which was good. The TV didn’t work in my room, it would turn on but then the screen would go blue. It wasn’t a big issue for me though so I didn’t ask for any assistance with fixin...

Pros (+) My husband and I are in St Louis 1 or 2 nights per month year round. But we will not be straying here.
Cons (-) Bed poorly made. Linins very worn. Breakfast have items that were watered down. Like the OJ and the waffle mix was watered down so much when cooked it fell apart and didn't have any flavor. My Husband is 84. They have an elevator but it is so fall from the lobby it was very hard for him to make it. When we got to our room the keys would not work. To far to walk back so I call the lobby on my cell ...

Pros (+) Normally you don't find a Days Inn at this level. It must have been a converted Marriott at some point. Clean, comfortable, spacious and good experience.
