There was feces in our bathroom toilet, the outlets in the bathroom did not work, the outlets in the bedroom walls were not mounted properly, the hand towel rack in the bathroom was missing (there was just a mounting bracket), and the shower had a weird film in it.

charles, Sep 2020 - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis - Westport
Pros (+) Covid protocols necessitated offering only a minimal number of grab and go breakfast items. Those items included breakfast bars, coffee, muffins, yogurt, apples and bananas, but hot tea was not an option. All bar and restaurant facilities were closed during our stay.
Cons (-) The room had play-doh smashed all over the carpet in our room. In addition the closet door was removed from the track and leaning against the wall when we first entered our room. Our travel partners also had the same issue with their closet door. In fairness, the bathroom appeared adequately cleaned and ready as did the bed.

Brian, Jan 2018 - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis - Westport
Pros (+) The staff we interacted with were all great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice looking lobby bar with plenty of seating and the beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The hot tub temperature in the pool area was too cold. More like luke warm tub.

Pros (+) The location was great, just around the corner from the rental car lots with great access to St. Louis airport. I was allowed to check in to my room as soon as I arrived at noon, three hours ahead of regular check-in time. The lower-level restaurant had good food at reasonable prices.
Cons (-) When I attempted to shower at 8:30 p.m. the water was only tepid. That was disappointing.

David, May 2017 - DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis Forest Park
Cons (-) Front desk staff is clueless. WiFi is the worst I have experienced at a hotel. Some rooms overlook garage and should be severely discounted. Will never stay there again.

Deanne, Dec 2016 - DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis Forest Park
Pros (+) The hotel is connected to the hospitals, right by Forest Park Museums, unique restaurants. We were on a renovated floor, new subway tile, carpet, furnishings. Some floors are not completed but underway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast has hot food. We could see downtown and the gateway arch from the hall window outside or room on the 7th floor.
Cons (-) Wish it had a pool/ hot tub, but does have a nice fitness room. Parking is $7 per day, but there is very little free parking in this area.

Anonymous, Aug 2016 - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis - Westport
Pros (+) We had very little interaction with the staff. We checked in and the gentleman was helpful and polite. When you got to our room the key did not work and there was an employee walking by that used a master key to open it for us. The floor was wet by the a/c unit and the remote batteries were old and the remote did not work properly. We told the man at the front desk upon check out and he made sure ...
Cons (-) Remote for tv didn't work properly and the floor was wet need the a/c.
