Pros: breakfasr is good we can make it. its clean
Pros: The hot tub is a plus factor.
Cons: The services were not impressive and staffs were not very accommodating.
Pros: This condo is prefect! Well equipment and quiet place! The receptionist Ms Kathanne is a kind and professional staff. She has provided us with a lot of help and quickly solved our problems. We highly value her help and mobility!
Cons: No washroom on the first floor
Pros: The room was airy, super clean and had everything we needed. Staff is friendly. The hot tub is perfect after a full day of hiking. Underground parking makes life easy.
Pros: Great facility. Have stayed there many times and will always come back. Close enough to Canmore for a quick trip but far enough away from all the tourists.
Pros: Nice location
Pros: Staff very helpful in light of the unusual circumstances (power failure at original resort). Much appreciated.
Pros: The hot tub, newer room/furniture.
Cons: The hallways were dark and needed new carpets/ paint..
Pros: Upon arrival, everything was wonderful. Staff was accommodating, polite and knowledgeable.
Cons: Customer service prior to arrival had a few glitches. I contacted a manager who was polite, personable and professional, quickly sorting our concerns. From the moment we stepped in the door, our family getaway was perfect!
Pros: Easy access from Calgary and pet friendly accommodation in the mountains. Fully equipped rooms with nice kitchen and sitting area. Quick walk to trail along the river with scenic views, or 10 min drive into Canmore. Staff are very friendly and parking underground is nice in winter.
Cons: Wifi only good for the bare essentials.
Located in Dead Man's Flats, Big Horn Motel is a 2-minute drive from Wind Ridge Trail and 6 minutes from Stewart Creek Golf Club. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was convenient, only 5 minutes away from Canmore.
Cons: Restaurants nearby close down too early, have to drive to Canmore. Sound insulation between rooms is very poor, could hear every conversation from neighbors.
Cons: The front desk staff is not that approachable. She need more smile for customers..
Pros: for a last minute booking it was a good price
Cons: the room was clean and for a single night, it's okay but it's a quite old hotel, a bit noisy, with old stuff
Cons: Old dingy place noisy hot
Pros: no breakfast..no a/c but a fan..decent view..quiet not worth the money but it was the Rockies in august so what can you expect
Cons: Very close to the highway. The noise during the night was unbearable. Mouse ran away when I got into the bathroom at night:(
Cons: Cleanliness comfort price
Pros: Beds a little hard. Quite expensive for accommodations. Staff booking was like a robot.
Cons: The price. Treated like a “customer” rather than a “guest”.
Pros: Room with some view and quiet.
Cons: it is not in Canmore town center. it's far away from town center 11km drive. Carpet was old and dirty. A/C didn't work. The receptionist seems to lack a professionalism. Simple words, no smiles. bad communication skills.
Pros: Location was close to Banff. Room was clean.
Cons: No air conditioning. Internet so slow, not usable. TV reception was analog, 6 channels, poor reception. No bath towels in room. Door lock very hard to engage. Outside back and front doors had no security, never locked. Staff difficult to understand.
Pros: IT was clean. Balcony.
Cons: No air conditioning, not even a fan and the nights were warm. No towels the first night. Lots of highway noise from Trans Canada Highway 1, the busiest highway in Canada and just a few meters from the hotel. The price, US $160 per night, made the above particularly irritating. OK, it's high season in the Canadian Rockies and this was the cheapest hotel around by at least $50 a night, but is it too much to ask to have a fan in the room?
Cons: Fridge was broken. We plugged it in, and it never got cold.
