Situated in Demänovska valley, in the Low Tatras, Penzión Adriana is close to the famous Demänovska caves. It offers rooms with a private bathroom and free access to Wi-Fi. All traditionally furnished rooms offer satellite TV. Some rooms have a balcony. The Adriana provides a restaurant where breakfast is served every morning. An à la carte menu is also offered. During fair weather meals are also served on the terrace. Guests can relax in the garden. Several hiking trails are within the vicinity. The Jasna Ski Resort is 6 km from the guest house. During summer guests can bike in the Giant Bike Park Jasna or visit Tarzania High Rope Park.

Pros: We were greeted by the owner when we got there and felt right at home. The place is lovely and clean and we really loved being there. The family that owns the Penzión Adriana joined us on Christmas Eve and we had a lot of laughs and great fun. I would recommend it anybody who wants to feel like they are home. Thank you again for everything and being such amazing hosts. We enjoyed staying there and will definitely be back.

Pros: I like everything there. The most important thing for me, when I chouse this place, was cleaness and comfort. Really clean, nice furnished and cosy place. - When we stayed there, the weather was cold at nights -21C, days around -9C, but the heating works really good, it was warm in the rooms. - for breakfast we have payed additional. They were delicious and various of chose. - some people pointed about paid wi-fi, but you have to pay just 1euro per room, per all days you stay there. And internet traffice was good quality.
Cons: Probably, Adriana the first place I visited and have nothing to say here. :)

The Low Tatras National Park and Pavcina Lehota Tourist Path are just a 10-minute walk or less from the property. Studios at Skipension Jasná are spacious and have a kitchen, a bathroom with a bath or shower, and satellite TV with 80 channels. The units have wooden furniture and enjoy mountain views. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The property has a large garden and pond, on which ice skating is possible in winter. A playground, sandpit, table tennis and badminton facilities can also be used at the Skipension. Sport equipment and bikes can be stored safely on site. Guests can buy fresh fish from the neighbouring trout farm. Produce can then be grilled on the garden’s barbecue facilities. Private parking is available in Skipension Jasná’s closed yard free of charge. The local bus stops just 50 metres away. A FFgrocery shop can be reached on foot in 3 minutes, and the closest restaurant is 400 metres away. A summer sled run can be visited 1 km away. Cons: We were a couple so it had no impact on us but the place is listed as a booking for 4 people. If you are a family with 2 kids that is ok but if you are 2 couples it might be an issue since there is only 1 bedroom, not for lack of space but for lack of privacy.

Pros: The appartment, including the bathroom, is really big. It certainly fits more people. The neighbourhood is quiet and the ski area and the hiking trails are relatively near.

Pros: I do not recommend ! A very small room, the noise from other rooms makes it impossible to sleep, greasy food, expensive drinking, very unwilling and unhelpful staff. It was my last stay in that hotel. Bad smell in the toilet :-(.

Cons: There is lack of space in ski room to put your ski shoes for drying. But you can carry them upstairs and leave behind the door of your room - many are are doing this.

Cons: - we booked for 3 people and discovered when we reached that we were not in the hotel but in the hostel next to it with a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms. For the price we paid we did not mind but we did not appreciate at all the fact that nothing is mentioned when you book the room --> I read other comments mentioning the same problem. The hotel should really be careful to mention when you have to share your bathroom with 2 other rooms, it's a big deception at your arrival. - the welcome at the check in was extremely cold with no help. We asked where we could rent ski (it's ski resort - we all come for that) the receptionist told us he did not know. As well no information at all about anything. - at the check out we asked to do it after dinner as we were leaving very early in the morning, the reception told us we can make it in the morning . And when we wanted to check out no one was at the reception, we had to wait for someone to come (not very nice especially when you have a flight to catch).

Pros: From arrival was such a cosy welcoming place. All hotel so clean. Lovely warm room but easy to regulate the temperature. had a view of the snowy trees from our bedroom window. Although it is right in the Jasna resort it is tucked away so feels like a cosy retreat, really peaceful. Food was amazing. we ate soooo much food at the help yourself buffet for breakfast and dinner. Waiter was very friendly. Hot tub and sauna were super. We would definetly stay again.
Cons: Room light by bed and phone was broken. We told reception staff on first night but it was never fixed or heard anything else about it.

Pros: The hot tub and the sauna were perfect. The dinner as well as the breakfast were great. The location is quite good, about 250 steps to the slopes. The room was nice but small. Next time I will choose a family room. The parking place is very close. The hotel has a comfy ski storage.
Cons: We got a room in a house where the bathroom was SHARED with other families. When I checked the room it was not mentioned properly, later i saw in the confirmation, and i wrote a question about it, which was never answered. For that price a shared bathroom is not acceptable.

Pros: The hotel has great location between slopes with parking. Ski slopes are several minutes walk. Breakfast and dinner were good, with quite a big variety of dishes. And the menu was changed every day, which is very appreciated if you are staying for several nights and don't have to eat the same all the time. Pros: The hotel is very beautiful with an excellent location, from the hotel terrace you can watch the skiers and the telegondola, just cross the street and reach the telegondola. The rooms are very beautiful and with a modern design. The hotel has all the facilities for skiers and I have nothing to say, it is the ideal skiing hotel in Jasna.
Cons: Breakfast may be more varied and tastier. Food at the restaurant is delicious and very appealing, but traditional foods are missing.

Pros: Very elegant hotel surrounded by good nature. Currently there is a lot of construction around this area which disturbs the peace a bit and also made us a bit sad to see how wood is cut down to free place for the touristic facilities. We had a stylish room and the food was excellent.
Cons: We were there we two kids (1 and 2 years old) and we have to say the hotel is not suitable for kids. There are too many things they can get in troubles with (the sliding doors ignore the height of the kids, the spa has candles everywhere and the floor is extremely slippery, the additional bed for my little son was very costly and there is nothing suitable to play for kids. So leave kids at home and u will be having a great time

Pros: This hotel is good only during winter season, the slope is just 3 meters from the hotel. Nice staff. After skiing you can chill at wellness area.
Cons: Not a single thing for free, not even a bottle of water. Cup of coffee 3 euros?! We were having breakfast and dinner included and after first day I was feeling bad on my stomach. Bed is not soft at all, I have irritation from sleeping on it naked. Doesn't worth the money we paid for it.

Pros: Landlord, Michal is a very nice person, and capable of communicating in English as well - here it is a rarity. He waited his guests, we have even got a welcome drink. My booking was modified according to my needs and his possibilities, I am grateful for that. The room was clean, warm, and I even had a television with many channels.
Cons: The toilet and the shower belonging to my room was on the other side of the corridor. It was only for me, but I didn't like the feeling. The shared kitchen means you have to wait for others to finish their meals - sometimes it can be frustrating if you hurry for the slopes. The landlord is living in the house, but separately. This house is better for a company of friends, when all the rooms are theirs for the period.

Pros: Very good place to stay for a ski vacantion. Located between Jasna ski resort and Liptovski Miculas. There are ski busses to travel back and forth between ski areas and the town(Tatralandia). Bus station is 400m far from the place. Friendly owner, cozy, warm and spacious rooms. There is a fully equiped kitchen, free prarking and ski storage room. Owner is a very friendly and helpful person. Great deal for confort vs money. We will definitely come back.

Pros: We were very happy to stay here, the pension and people are very friendly and charmante. From first floor you have a beautiful view on mountain river which is running a few meters from the pension. The pension is very close to ski resort Jasna where you can ski on both sides of Chopok (2024 m above sea level) from where you have amazing sceneries of mountains, sunsets etc. SKi resorts has many different lifts whic you can combine (within one skipass- which buy in advance for cheaper). The receptionist (with glasses) will advice you and was very friendly and he speaks english. Very close to pension is geothermal spa Besenova where you can swimm in hot water outside (like in Iceland :) and very close is Aqualandia - a water amusement park for kids and families.

I've asked the host via booking if there is a possibility to check-in later, he replied in Slovak (I had to use Google Translate) that there's a possibility to do that and gave me his phone number. In the day of my arrival, he called me, frustrated, that I should have called him otherwise I'd be sleeping in my car. The most confusing part is that, there's an entire system for people arriving late figured out - there's a box with code next to the entry door with the key inside it. The only thing I needed to know was the number of the box and the code. Host's frustration was redundant and unfounded, because we simply could have solved everything via email. We're living in 21 century and I'm using booking.com not to have to call people.

Pros: My names Vanda, my husband and I were staying at the hotel, and I decided to stay with a friend afterwards because it was so great. My friend was also very satisfied and will be staying there in the future with her boyfriend. It is the best hotel and restaurant in the area, everything was perfect, if there was a glitch then the staff were extremely helpful and solved in very fast! The restaurant was always on point, never had a bad meal. For lunch we also choose FIS Jasna because the other places were not so good but at FIS jasna we were always satisfied. The spa, bar was great and very relaxing! Cant wait to go again!

Pros: The staff was great, very friendly and helpful! The restaurant was always amazing, lots and of choices and all were great and delicious choices! The ski room is spacious, the ski bar has a chill feeling, with great food as well, and the spa is great, theres an outdoors jacuzzi and sauna as well which made after skiing really relaxing with the perfect vibe. The hotel looks very modern and its very clean, only the pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but other than that our stay was great, my wife decided to stay an extra week and invited her friend who also had a great experience, unfortunately the car got stuck, but the staff were very professional and had the car out in no time! The prices are also very acceptable. We decided this is the place we will be staying at for our long weekend ski days in the future, all we can do is recommend it!

Pros: Localization of the hotel is really great - only few steps from cableway. Also the ski slope near hotel is a slope that is open also in late houres. Another superb thing was a food. In hotel you will eat a really delicious meals. Room was very clean with comfortable bed. Bathroom's size was enought.
Cons: On weekend in reception was a person who can't don't know English at all. Antoher thing was parking witch was very small. The last thing is SPA. In my humble opinion it is quite small with a place for about 10 sunbed and little bit too small swimming pool, but the worst thing was jacuzzi - the smell of water makes me thing that it wasnen't change for too long time.

Pros: This is the 3rd year at the property and we have returned mainly due to location and the value for the money. We loved the wellness center.
Cons: The internet connection is awful in the rooms and as most of us use the internet on the daily basis this should be addressed. The staff can barely communicate in English. The breakfast was fine during the first days (Fri-Sun) but starting Monday the variety decreased considerably.

Pros: We really loved this place! After booking I've got a phone call from them about checkin details. The receptionist was a very kind and helpful lady, who gave us all information we needed. Location and environment is fabulous. Room and bathroom was perfectly clean, and in new condition, size of the room was normal, enough. Several parking lots for free. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best ones we tried in Slovakia!

I'd rather pay less for the same service in nearby places or pay a bit more for way better experience at properties beside the slopes.

Pros: We loved the location. It is very close to everything we wanted to see ( 10-20 min. the most ). Playground at the restaurant and also playroom at the reception were great. There was something for everybody. Small and big children. We loved the breakfast and the staff was really nice and friendly. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were nice and big, beds comfortable.
Cons: As i mentioned. The rooms were big but.... the fabric on the couch was peeling off and was not made. The kitchen and the chairs ... oh boy need to be replaced. Was not CLEAN !!! Cons: Breakfast - acceptable, but no more than that, almost the same food every day. It would be good to add some hot/warm milk to be used with cereals of coffee. HB option - drinks during breakfast are included while during dinner the staff offers them not saying a single word that they are paid. It's not about the fact that they are paid, but the fact that they hide this information and you find it out during check-out. Check-out - reception suddenly informing us that we should pay extra as we have booking only for one kid but we came with two kids, finally they figure out this is their mistake but we do not even hear "sorry" - not the best way to say "good bye" and encourage us to recommend this place The staff - there are exceptions, but the general feeling is that they are underpaid or overloaded. They just do the minimum they are supposed to do, but whenever you approach them you feel that they would prefer to be left alone. Personally I don't like to feel like an intruder and this is one of the reasons I am not sure if I want to visit this place again.

Lots of private parking - it's super important, because you can forget about parking next to the slopes. Great coffee at the restaurant. Rooms were decent, given the price I would totally recommend.
Cons: Found quite a bit o hair in a basket on the bathroom sink. Cleanliness could be improved a little bit. Breakfast were rather poor - not a lot of choice, the food wasn't very fresh nor tasty. You would think scrambled eggs are easy.. The staff is not very friendly, especially the men look down upon guests for some reason, some on them seem to have no idea what's happening in the hotel. Don't waste your money on the half-board with the hotel - literally 200 meters down the road there is an awesome Koliba with brilliant food. Pets - they are accepted, but only after booking and paying I was told that actually they'll have to move you to an economy room (same price). In the end it worked out well, as these rooms are not in the noise main building.

Pros: We were trying to book this hotel several times and finally we had a chance to stay in it. It's a really good place for family or romantic trip. Hotel is located 100/200 metres from "10" track in the center of forest. A lot of snow and trees around, and of course Wellness help you to sleep like a baby and feel reinnovated in the morning like you didn't spend previous day had a skiing.
Cons: I would admit that you should take off all beds linen by yourself so it will be changed. It's not convenient.

The only thing as to why we marked this down was that the beds were not so comfy but we have been to Slovakia before and this seems to be a cultural difference. Cons: No room cleaning during the whole stay. The towels were changed only once on the first day (eventhough we didn't ask for it by throwing them into shower). Fitness center is a disaster - the equipment is very old and broken (eliptical). We were not able to open the window and there was no A/C so it was a bit like sauna in there. Wellness, restaurant and lobby are too crowded and full of shouting and crying babies - this might be our fault, I had no idea the hotel was THIS children friendly. If I knew it, I'd chose different one for sure.

Pros: The hotel is very nice and we got it for good price. We did not expect much, but everything exeed our expectation. Room - small but cozy, brackfast - ordinary every day but enough to be satisfied, diner - the best part of our living in this place, different types of very tasty dishes, which you always can choose according to your tastes and diete.

Cons: We asked for single double bed, but got two separate single beds that coundn’t be moved together. Don’t have hairdryer. Staff in restaurant doesn’t speak english. And you have to pay separately for drinks, even water, when you have dinner included in stay at hotel.

Pros: The hotel was located right on the slopes, with direct access to the ski lifts/cabins. The hotel itself has the distinctive communist era look and feel to it, along with all its quirks; so whoever wants to experience that - it's a good way to do it. The room we had was quite basic and small - but clean - and the beds comfortable. It's nice that all rooms have a balcony. One thing that is really outstanding here is the food. Great breakfast and great dinner (we had half-board). Simply delicious.
Cons: The bar itself was called "Caviar"... a LONG shot from what the name suggests :-) The staff were nice and friendly but they spoke little or no English, which made it hard to communicate. Also, one night we ordered some "cream caramel" desert, only to find that it came from a supermarket. That is contrasting the deserts we were served on dinner, which were made there (well, made wherever, but they were not bought from a supermarket :-) ). Also, the wines served were below average. I would have happily paid a little extra for some extra quality but it was difficult to change the options, in absence of good communication. Also - I lost the habit of packing toiletries with me, like soap or shampoo and I was a bit taken aback by the meagerness of what was offered (literally, tiny pieces of soap which I could easily lose in my nostrils, for instance, and a shampoo shot). However, it's a three star hotel so I guess this is to be expected. I have seen however better served three stars hotels.

Pros: Perfect location for skiing for a family with small children, very close to the ski lift. Last year we stayed at 15km distance to the slopes and we encountered a terrible traffic in the morning, especially in February. We had half-board included, meals were tasty, not too many options but acceptable variety.
Cons: We booked two rooms. In one of them there was a permanently bad smell, maybe from the carpet.

Pros: It's simple and cheap. The beds are comfortable, the location is excellent, the staff is polite. There is a little restaurant with average quality and low prices. If you do not need unnecessary luxury, and want a cheap solution for accomodiation, I recommend it. You walk 3-4 minutes to the ski-lifts. It could not be closer I guess.
Cons: The bathroom is small, and located on the corridor. But anyway, for this money on this location it worth this discomfort.

Pros: The atmosphere was very cosy and the staff was very helpful and really kind. Despite the thin walls people rather abided the night silence. It was quite comfortable to be just by the skilifts. Their restaurant is delicious and worth the price for the breakfast too. The rooms inside the building were quite warm. Lastly, i recommend trying out their homemade fruit tee.
Cons: Some doors were hard to close in the toilet, and the wc's were several times stucked by some people, however after reporting the problem they immediately solved it. It was not easy to use the bottom part of the Bunk Beds, due to too little space.

Pros: I mean, let me put it this way. You wont find a luxurious apartment here nor will you enjoy the most up to date facilities (forget about having your own toilet :) ). But what you will have is an unique experience being with cool people, doesn't matter if it's the staff or the guests, everyone is awesome and it's like spending a holiday at your Grandma. You eat great food, everyone smiles and is kind and helpful. And there is a great beer there, not to forget. I love this place, hope it never changes. (maybe except the bathrooms - but hey, my grandma only had a bucket as a shower and a latrine, so Zahradky still tops it :))
Cons: That I can't spend my entire holiday here.

Pros: The location of the hotel is at the very good spot - at the very bottom of two lanes of the lifts. Which works perfect both for summer and winter. A big plus is that you have a road leading directly to it.
Cons: It's very soviet-style inside with all those old unfixed furniture and communal facilities in the very bad shape. It doesn't matter very much in the winter when you're totally consumed with skiing and partying, but matters extensively in summer, when you want peace and pleasant emotions.

Cons: The staff ordered a taxi for us for the next day morning - we had a train to Bratislava. The taxi never came so each of us lost 20 euros of money and 2 hours of time. So don’t use the taxi number they have at the hotel.
