proximity to airport and free/fast buggy transport comfort of room fantastic breakfast swimming pool
close to the airport and have a check in counter right at the laggage claim area light in the room is a bit too dark
First-class room ( free upgrade to Pan Pacific club) and excellent breakfast in delightful top-floor setting. Staff throughout hotel helpful and welcoming. Just the place to relax (nb. in quiet!) after a long flight and within a stone's throw of the airport and fast train into KL. It is a wonderful place to stay. The high quality of the accommodation is - alas - no longer matched by the quality of the food. Room service provided food that badly cooked (almost raw chicken) and cold, though they got it right second time. 'Degrees' restaurant served tired and dull food (a la carte) - not a patch on what it was a couple of years ago. I think they need a chef rather than just kitchen hands (but the service was fine).
Hotel staff is really helpful there. Price ;] they charge really a lot of money for their location.
Helpfulness of the staff and the service and facilities Only one armchair in a double room, two would have been better
massage im miss. but reservation name is mr.
The hotel's location, virtually within the airport, was perfect for our overnight transit.
friendly and helpful staff superb location for airport
The quality of the service and the food, also the friendliness
The room was very clean, beautiful and comfortable and the architecture was different to any other hotel I have stayed in. The room service was quickly delivered and the buffet breakfast at B's was delicious. The staff at B's were lovely and very ready to serve me early in the morning eventhough I was the only one in the restaurant. The check-in staff seemed a bit inexperienced and forgot to give me back my passport until I asked them. I booked and paid for a taxi to the airport only to be put in a car with another family that had also paid.
The quiet lakeside location.
Spacious and beautiful setting. Relatively close to all the government offices. Road signs that makes it easy to find. Arrived on a Sunday and no buffet dinner available in a 5-star hotel and the a-la-carte menu was very limited. No conveniences around therefore cannot go out to eat nor buy convenience resources. On-site convenience store very expensive.
The sarrounding is beautiful. Helpfull staff. It is spacious. Resourceful fitness centre. Good open air swimming pool. The provided shuttle service is of little or no use. Corridors, pavements, lifts, bathroom fittings, etc. are ordinary. Does not look like a five star. Should be rated four star.
The hotel has got excellent facilities but it looks as if it is not being managed properly It is far from the Kuala Lumpur city. It is very good for people who have to visit the government offices.
Its a poor hotel at any point you look at it ...
exterier, location, lakeview service is not for 4 stars hotel, staff doesnt care anything, even nobody helped to carry my luggage in the room, need to pay about 10 USD for internet per every day, need to wait for taxi about 30 min everytime, when u want to go out
The dinner at the village finding our way around
The aesthetic environment. The carelessness of the counter staff to charge me for an extra day of breakfast despite informing in advance that I would not be taking breakfast on the second day. Luckily, I discovered the mistake and asked for refund.
The room smells humidity, chosen material for floors looks like dirty.
Being Vegeterian the hotel staff did everything they could
The design and location of the villas is great. Rooms are clean as well. There's no guidebook in the room to introduce the hotel facilities, restaurants, room service number etc. We merely gotten a photocopied 1page phamplet showing the hotel map & restaurants. Restaurant service at the club house is poor and staff is not as attentive. For the buffet, there's lots of houseflies landing on and hovering around the food. Guests have to spend time swatting at the flies. Spa-wise, suggest body scrub to be included in the package. And to have some brochures on the spa facilities as well, we found out that there's steambath but was informed last minute that we will require swimsuit to use it. Some warning would be nice.
the room is very nice and well built for Malaysian standard in terms of service, there aren't any organisations at all. the staff are not attentive and slow, plenty of them but none seems to know what they are doing. when dining at the Sunset, one of the staff said they don't have a wine list, they just serve red or white if you want, but where are the wine come from? then she gave me a whole list of all you can have ! they really do attract whole bus load full of Chinese tourists... prefect for corporate events or people who don't really care about service...not even for a weekend get away, its a shame because they rooms are really nice, but should've known, there are more than 300 rooms! and there's only one tiny pool! being over looked by 600 people at breakfast time!
welcoming staff and nice view... no arabic food and no arabic tv channels and no ATM or shopping store at the hotel
I like to look at the sun set is a very nice view. Besides, the swimming pool is very nice especially at night. Hope customers can swim at night. Prefer that the premium traveller palm villas come with bath tub as well as i think with this price without bath tub is not worthly. Everything just fine.
Your Kind staff, helpfulness, polite is exc excellent! Food, restaurant is less and no good choice for the food.
Excellent, happy, and hospitable staff; great buffet selections for dinner and breakfast; free bikes; great sunrise and sunset views around the site; nice gym and pool; quiet and peaceful at night; comfortable beds; balconies for every room; welcoming for singles, couples, and families as guests. Can be romantic or family oriented as well as a relaxing place for group events. The rooms are vey clean, but some linens like bed skirts and comforters are a bit stained from previous guests, which is especially possible to occur since all types of people, including families with smaller children, are frequent visitors. They are working to improve on cleaner auxiliary linens.
The place was relaxing and I liked it that wifi and 3G was weak - so we could really put the phone down and enjoy quality time. The good was really poor. Hygiene a concern and the pool was overcrowded and looked dirty (murky). The Chinese restaurant sold mushy prawns, rotten mangoes in our pudding. Breakfast was dirty. Bowls were unclean with food still stuck on it.
Rooms are very nicely decorated. Excellent view of the Ocean. Liked the free activities like windsurfing, cart sailing etc I did not managed to log in to the wifi even after getting the hotel staff to help me. The then gave me a LAN cable but still can't connect to the internet. Breakfast has limited choice. The egg station is inefficient and have to wait long for an omelet. The beach does not looked very clean
I cannot give an answer to this question as we only stayed one night and visited friends in the evening. We may come back and spend some more time at the hotel.
Nothing at all Very noisy dirty old rooms and un professional stuff
short but very nice, found the lobby area extremely large, not the same as other Marriott's I have stayed at around the world. We had dinner in the Italian restaurant, unfortunately found the menu a little over the top, service was not up to scratch, and there was not one Rose wine on the menu. If had been staying longer would not have reqented a second time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with complimentary bottled water and some fruits.
the garden the hotel staff
It is a spectacular hotel. The staff were very friendly and hotel very clean. Beautiful and well kept grounds. Nice varity of resturants. The general location is out of the way - too much. The drive to Kuala Lumpur is 45 minutes. The pool resturant/snack bar was closed on Sunday.
We have stayed in this hotel for the 4th time. It is one of our favorite hotels. But this time we were not happy with a few things. 1. We had a late dinner when suddenly all lights were turned on, and an army of employees entered the restaurant with carts and materials, making a lot of noise, cleaning the restaurant, and preparing the restaurant for next day's breakfast. Our dinner was spoiled. 2. Our room was not cleaned for two days in a row. Apperently we have to ask for this service. 3. we had to pay 15 RM for a bottle of water. Would be better service if it was complementary with a deluxe room.
Nothing except the swiming pool but no one to serve you any drink Food was horrible - no service - very far away from a real shangri la - dirty room
Best hotel ưe have ever stayed at in every respect. Friendliest staff, amazing room. Very peaceful. Ì anything there could be more Malayasian dishes on the menu.
Everything it was a great way to end my holiday
its in Exclent place no crowded... and it seam the place is for High class its far away from shopping center you need to book a car if you want to go...
The room was well kept and the room was excellent. The area was scenic and peaceful.
Romantic ambience. Car parking a bit far and inconvenient.
The hotel staff were not well trained and service was poor for a Shangri La hotel which is supposed to be highly reputable
The staff was very friendly and the view over Putrajaya from the main lobby is beautiful. Very nice bathroom.
Beautiful luxurious motel, away from it all and relaxing. Would have liked to have stayed longer.
The people action was great.
Very nice garden, nice room and great balcony airconditioned breakfast room with icy cold temparatures
If you fly to/from KLIA, fine. There is free shuttle service starting at 5:30. If you fly to/from LCCT (low cost airline), I would not suggest this hotel. It's 20 mins by car from the airport. It costs 2/3 as much as going to the city center. Normally, you only need less than 50 mins - 1 hour to travel to city center from the airport. I arrived to this hotel late at night and left very early so I couldn't see much. Based on what I have seen and experienced, it's quite overpriced.
Close to airport, free shuttle to airport, free wifi, good mixed of food, welcoming staaf
free internet service. 1) spent the night with flies and bugs 2) shuttle service finished around 12midnight and we had to take taxi from the airport. 3) more immprovement is expected on staff services
Convenience to airport, but even that wasn't as close as it seems.. They advertise free wifi throughout- when in fact there is NO wifi at all. The rooms are only SIMILAR to what is shown on website- it is an old run down hotel with a Horrible breakfast. I would never stay again- as a matter of fact, we tried to cancel the stay and go elsewhere, But since we pre paid through Kayak we were told we would lose our money.
Very convenient close to the International Airort with Shuttle bus !
Excellent Location & Free Airport Shuttle Pretty Lousy. Gave us 2 single beds though we were a couple. The room was not clean. Had to carry our bags ourselves. I would never stay there again.
Closew to airport being woken by workmen replacing a window frame outside our bedroom. This woke us up and ensured we had a bad sleep. When we spoke to reception they said "this is when we carry out maintainace". This is a very bad time to be carrying out this type of work as it disturbs guest who pay a lot of money and who need their rest after travel.
Close to airport. Very nice place to stay before a flight. Price is right!
There is only one other choice at present for an airport hotel and the Concorde was much easier on the budget. The staff at the desk was great. The airport is very modern and up to date, although it is a little far from the city. A train connects the city, but a taxi ride to a down town hotel is less $25 US. Nothing.
Wonderful. Very well located, excellent value for money.
Only 10 mins from KLIA airport. Staff very helpful. Very clean. Lovely outdoor pool - ideal for relaxing between flights. I would recommend an executive room, which is reasonably priced, but quite basic. Large, comfortable bed. I had difficulty finding the shuttle bus pick-up point, but maybe that was down to jet lag! It is, in fact, on level 1 door 3.
Having a bed instead of sleeping on a plane ;-)
the complete facilities provided in the room really satisfied my family's need.. nothing so far
Comfort and friendly staff and good breakfast Nothing
The breakfast, excellent food with personal touch Nothing really
Staff are very friendly, helpfull & fast reponse on request. Good breakfast as well The pillow
It's good for holiday & relaxing. The front desk Chinese male staff is very helpful & polite. Some facilities & fittings are quite old. Not convenience for guests who don't have transport.
The room was spacious, clean, neat and the furnitures are nicely arranged. None
Although it requires more talk of care and attention Building, furniture, hotel room and the old and bad - the smell of the room and disturbing Krihp - Mosquit despite the survival of many garden gate closed - delays in the provision of room service - breakfast and a few normal
Room is nicely decorated & spacious enough for 3, the spa is a lure but I had no time to try it out. There was live music/singing at dinner and it can be heard very well...can be pretty disturbing if one is looking at having some quiet time in the room. Also the location is stated as Putrajaya in the website and so we went straight to the precints, anyway, we had a hard time finding it as the road signs can be quite confusing.
