There is no better place to experience authentic Balinese heritage and culture on this island of the Gods than the iconic Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa.
Built and opened in 1983, our hotel has welcomed kings and queens, presidents and other dignitaries over the years. Each guestrooms offers stunning views of meticulously manicured tropical gardens or vistas of the ocean from the terrace or balcony.
The wonderful architecture, gardens and swimming-pool, and the overview to the sea. We had a 3 days of pleasure and quietness, in the lovely Bali's way of living, with many good travellings around the island, and with all the help from the hotel staff. Very kind and friendly. Lovely restaurants, very charming and good food for reasonable prices.
No internet in the room. And, it was quite expendive to pay in the lobby. This is the only bad thing in Nusa Dua hotel. Otherwise, is perfect.
the palace club was definately worth it. the service was exemplary and there was nothing that was too hard or difficult for the staff to manage.
no problems with the stay although I wished the account was in australian dollars as I felt a little confused with the conversions
The location is superb - without doubt, this was the main attraction. The decor and features are very tired and appreciate that a big overhaul is in place - will stay on alert to see the improvement over the coming year.
The worst aspect was the poor internet facility - these days business people are not able to just switch off. Not only was the service bad but it was expensive - compare with j w Marriot where service is good, in every area and it is free. That would make my choice obvious. The other issue was the so called happy hour where the price reduction was only applicable to the local beer and not all drinks like the other Hotels along the beach - consequently after one bad experience, we drunk and ate at the other Hotels along the Beach front. The room decor was dark and tired and needs to be modernized and the volume of furniture reduced to make more space.
Very friendly staff, great room, incredible garden, brilliant breakfast.
Cannot swim in the water. I would recommend it to families as a 5-star destination, but not to young people in general.
location was great - very quiet and relaxing
Place Club, location of the hotel, very nice hotel
there was no sun protetion umbrellas at the beach. services (bewerages and food) at the beach were overpriced
Courteous staff and all the lil extras and attention by palace club staff. Plus buffet theme dinner.
Everything - the staff, the food, the room, the facilities are all 5 star
The hawkers on the beach seem to be approching you more often even when on the sun loungers
The food was more than excellent. It relates well to the beach; less cluttered and more spacious feel than the nearby hotels
The hotel location was away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the hotel we had stayed at in Legion. It was very relaxing. It was our favourite of the three hotels we stayed at in Bali on this trip. The main shops and night-life at Kuta were only a $7 taxi ride away. We loved the Japanese restaurant at Nusa Dua even better than the better ones in Tokyo!
the water was very shallow so not for snorkelling. However, a diving/snorkelling boat excursion could easily be arranged.
