very clean and comfortable, very nice location no soap at the shower, no food after 8.15 pm, closed after 9 pm, without noticing when making the reservation (we got there close to closing time)
The hotel is situated in a very friendly little Austrian town, close to the Hungarian border. The room, facilities and staff were excellent and the recepcionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pelntyful and good quality. My room (62?) looked brand new and very clean. As I was returning to my room very late at night/early morning, I specifically asked if that would be a problem, and I was able to get to my room even though the reception is closed at night. The only thing I did not like was that my room had no airconditioning, and it was a bit warm at night.
Nice surroundings - cycle routes, wineyards. We enjoyed swimming pool and saunas. Wellness was free of charge and open the whole day till 10pm. Everything was ok but we did not really like the room itself. Furniture seemed to be old and not like in 4*hotels and there was nothing else in the bathroom except shower gel and shower cap.
Seehotel Rust is very nice to stay for short weekend break. Location is just perfect for biking and any lake related activities. Food at the restaurant was great (so no worries for half board). Rust is very nice small city with beautifull (even small) old town area, good restaurants and wine bars. -
Location Evening meal (buffet style) making the main courses generally tepid rather than hot. Small car park.
This was a return visit; I stayed also in January 2009 and 2008. The wine list is much improved, excellent to have local wines and the wine service from the young man was very thoughtful. There seem to be fewer staff than usual whcih means they had less time to be friendly. We had to have all our meals in the same dining room - in the past we also had a chance to use the other dining room. The lobby was cold because the fire was not lit. There was nowhere for nonsmokers like ourselves to sit except in the dining room. The coffee machine does not produce a really good Viennese coffee!
perfect location, all possibilities to watch water birds in the wild, a wonderful selection of wines in the neaby cosy restaurants - all peace and quiet!
Hotel staff was excellent. Hotel charged us for breakfast for our 4 year old daughter.
Small family run hotel inside the village. Nice, modern rooms, very good breakfast and above all excellent wines.
Very nice, friendly owners. Quiet, comfortable and very clean place. Rooms modern and very functional. You will find everything you need for a good stay. Ideal for people who likes to start the morning with good breakfast and finish a day with the very good wine from the owners win yard. I used to travel a lot for the last 15 years and to be honest it's very difficult to find a place like this!!!
The overall family atmosphere
Cleanliness, modern and comfortable rooms, wine.
The hostess was very helpful with touring information and maps. The breakfast was excellent. It is a winery with 5 rooms, so there is much attention paid to you. We were able to do a tasting of their excellent wines and tour their winery and cellar, which is beneath your feet as you eat breakfast.
