Comfortable clean room, tv and internet Breakfast a little disappointing
Really helpful staff, very clean, fantastic stay.
The staff is nice and able to speak english or french.
You need a clock in the room.
We have stayed for 1 night just to be near Marina De San Lorenzio. Rooms was modern enough, clean and spacious. Breakfast was so sad - limited amout to choose. No omlet or eggs. No fresh juces. In other words - just basic breacfast without any hot dishes at all.
Very nice placement, good price, wonderful confort. Average breakfast.
Comfortable room Lack of restaurant
I have stayed at this hotel quite a many times and it is the best hotel in Imperia.
Friendliness of the staff, terrace on the 5th floor Location: it was in the city centre, whilst the photos on the web made me think it was in a green area with a big park. I would have expected a car parking free of charge.
Service, continental breakfast Perfectible sound-proofing
private beach facility, buffet breakfast, pool area, balcony
the pool area really set this hotel apart from others on the beach. Hotel was ok, expected a little more but was comfortable. Breakfast provided in cost of room was excellent. We arrived at 7pm and the pool and beach area was closed. We expected to be able to have a quick swim after travelling all day so that was disappointing. Also, this hotel is not inexpensive, but they still charge 3.5 euro per pool towel/day/person which I think is not right if you're a guest, as well they charge to lay on a chair on the beach. Felt like we were always being asked for additional money.
Private car park, right next to the beach, reasonable access Hotel is at the sad end of Diano Marina. Our deluxe room with ful sea view was very small
The hotel was well positioned next to the beach and just far enough out of town to be quiet. The staff were very helpful and the room we had was just right. Breakfast was very good and the pool area nice and relaxing. The only real gripe is that when staying in a 4 star hotel and paying a fairly high price you do not expect to have to pay extra for sunbeds and beach towels on the hotels own private beach. At €3.50 for a towel and €19.00 for a sunbed per day this can soon add up. A beach chair and parasol is included in the hotel rate and the sunbeds around the pool are free.
The breakfast Room too small
Very nice Hotel with excellent service
The seaview from our bedroom (we booked a superior with full seaview) was superb. The hotel had a good swimming pool and garden beside the pool. The breakfast was very nice and there was a good choice of quality products. The a la carte restaurant was good. The bedrooms themselves were disappointing. Our superior room was very small and we spent one night in Suite 504 which had a very very limited seaview over the rooftops! Also you have to pay €3.50 per person per day if you wish to hire towels for around the pool/beach.
Good room if a little small - excellent view of sea/private beach. Good facilities - lovely dining room/breakfast terrace and private beach facilities. Good food - would have liked the option to book half board. Too far from centre of Diano Marina - long walk on a busy road to get into the town centre.
Great staff! Very friendly & nice people! Great location! Hotel parking included!
The hotel was a perfect stop for us but a little expensive considering the season.
We were very disapointed by the sea side and the situation of this hotel outside the town. Therooms are corects Too expensive by booking on your web site, The advertise of price was the same directly at the hotel or by booking.com
New hotel, excellent value for money. Staff were helpful but not very cheerful. Room quite small for a 4 star hotel. Fair walk into town and to restaurants.
Good location overpriced, air conditioning in room is not turned on until June
Nice outside area by the pool Bad breakfast and poor service from the staff. Extrimely small showerbox, just for children and skinny people. Not wifi internet
Swimming pool, bar for drinks and coffee at reasonable prices. Bikes for rent Breakfast was poor. Old or not tasty bread (hard to come by in Italy), lousy coffee, hardly any choice in jams, or meat, or cheese. We can't believe it is because of the budget, while it is so easy to get a decent breakfast using local alternatives. We were even willing to pay for it. Now we've taken breakfast a few times in town. Furthermore was the hotel visited by a group of elderly English people. All very nice and lovely. But their evening programm with quizes and bingo was scaring the other non-English guests away from the hotelbar. The diner menu was not attractive. We didn't eat once in the hotel, although we would have liked to. The other thing we didn't like that there wasn't enough information available for sseing things locally and in the surrounding area.
Hotel was perfectly nice but we were on the third floor with no hot water evening or morning. This obviously affected how we felt about our stay in this this very charming hotel. We had a good-sized balcony overlooking the pool area.
Swimming and position breakfast poor
We spend here only one night on our way to France. Everything was fair. No wireless internet
Nice small cosy hotel with swimming pool.
Owners are kind and the place is very well mantained and nice and peaceful. Heater not adequate during the night, it will be probably better from April onward
I liked how nice the rooms was.Staff was friendly and the service was good. The matress could have been a little softer. Anything else great.
the bed was uncomfortable
Good for summer but we whent on winter First of all the double bed was a matrimonial bed placed toghether. It was very poor the fact that the personal turned of the heat at night after 12. The shower was very small and it flooded everithing even the room. A disaster for a 3 star hotel
It was good location and good hospitality.
very helpful personel, wonderful place, private beach and perfect restaurant!!!!realy lovely hotel:))))
We liked the international flavor, the polite helpfulness of the staff, the good food.We liked it all and intend to go there as soon as they open after their well earned holidays in January. We cannot think of anything we did not like during our 3 day stay.
the hotel is in a great position. It is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Very good. nothing
Close to bars and restaurants. Close to station but not too close to be noisy No direct view of sea or beach. balcony views of the back streets of the town, noisy road outside hotel. Pigeons were allowed to run around the indoor breakfast area fowling floors.
Convenient. Secure parking. Helpfull, friendly staff. Excellant breakfast. Quiet, peacefull (inside).
We liked all the thing listed above, also the meals were something to look forward to,also the location.
The location and the meals were good They forgot to return our passports upon checking out, and it took us 5 days of pleading (and then threatening) to get them in the mail
One of the best hotels in the area. Perfect location.
Overall new refurbished structure with several facilities and free wifi. Nice room decorations. Breakfast: a lot of variety of food offered but overall poor quality.Poor soundproofing of the room. No sea view.
Very good choice for silent rest.near to the beach, near to departure from the town, many typical Italian restaurants around. Very cleanly, fine attitude of the staff. The closed parking
I enjoyed the location of the hotel, which is very close to the beach. I also enjoyed the friendly hotel staff. For example, they offered to keep our car in their parking garage on the day of checking out so we did not have to go and look for a parking space on the last day of our vacation. The walls between the rooms were not very soundproof. Our neighbour was snoring most of the night, so that was a little bit annoying.
Service and help from the personell. Unbeatable sometimes it was too warm...
Hotel Ariston is a Family run Hotel. They were very accomodating to every need. Best part was to find onsite parking at no charge and free wifi. I would definitely return when I am in the area again.
Location and help given
Well organized family-owned hotel. Staff speaks several languages. Breakfast ok. Good base for exploring the Italian riviera.
on the reception know more languages, that mean was easy contact! Free parking, and hotel lacatoin is super!
Comfortable and friendly
very nice and beautifull hotel, environment, very friendly staff, very good breakfast, which took place on the terrace.I can only recommend it, excellent. Nothing. It was very very nice.
The staff, breakfast and location suited our purposes very well. We enjoyed the old city of Imperia and Porto Turistico was very picturesque. Two thumbs up for Hotel Ariston! There were tears when we left.
Relaxing A little regimented regarding the poolside and sunbathing facilities
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Apparently a nice family business. Room well appointed, well serviced and good air con. Beach clean and well maintained and the swimming pool was large, clean and well appointed. Hotel close to restaurants and a wide variety of shops. A pleasant little community
the locaton is not too bad because it is right on the beach and in the center of the villate....except if you have a road side room. These are very noisy! Very noisy road side rooms, old fashend hotel, unfriendly staff. They even offerd us a discount for paying in cash! We left the hotel at midnight, because we could not sleep and they were not able to give us a quiet room.
stayed 2 nights, pleasant staff a lovely hotel by the sea
The view and location to town. Outdoor parking not gated
We got a very warm welcome on arrival . gracious hostess.A lot of the guests were quite elderely and seem to return annually.maybe not suited to younger travellers It was very comfortable hotel and very clean The breakfast was poor ,I expected plenty of fresf fruit only to get tin peaches and apples. The hot breakfast of eggs and bacon was in limited amounts.and you were waiting for them to be replaced .
Staff and facilities for the beach and pool. Close to town but not in town
Excellent situation, good room, pleasant balcony overlooking the sea, quiet and interesting village.
Very nice comfortable appartments with air conditioning set in a large well maintained mediterraen style garden. Friendly and helpful staff. 2 good sized and well maintained swimming pools was a hit with the children and there are several shady lounging areas. 15 minute walk to the main sea promenade and town and very nice clean sandy beaches with lifeguards. Good restaurants in town and can comfortably make day trips to Genova or San Remo, which are on the very scenic coastal road. Small things - fridge door a bit broken and freezer did not work well. TV was too small to watch and was located in a corner with a very short cable - so could not be moved. A difficult place to find first time - so get the local town map from the tourist office first.
A pleasant stay:very good supermarket near; helpful staff.specialist delicatessen nearby;station 10 mins. walk.good shopping 10-15 mins walk . secure parking.Good cooking facilities. bed cover, but no blankets. marble flooring a little noisy.
Big terrases, swimming pool, silence, supermarket nearby No room cleaning during our 10 days stay
I liked the location of the hotel. Even though it was not close to the sea, it was located in a very quite disctrict of Diano Marino. And what is more - we had a beutiful view from our terrace. The walls and doors seem to be not very thick, we could hear everything which was happening at our neighbours' rooms.
i liked the professionalisme and helpful staff. i liked the beautiful scene and sourroundings as well as the facilities in my room. everything was provided for me to have a very enjoyable stay. i will go back there and will recommend Diano Sportings Appartment to everybody. It was fantastic. Thank you everything was perfect
Very friendly staff, low price, garage availability. Difficult access to the sea, very limited breakfast, some unrepaired things on the ceiling and balcony.
The hotel is in a pleasant environment near the beach and some very pleasant restaurants. The possibility of extending the hotel rooms for air conditioning.
Very nice and helpful staff understanding needs of family with small children.
Sunbathing and swimming facilities and quiet location none
Pleasant quiet location yet close to town amenities, excellent buffet breakfast with helpful staff willing to please. The shower cubicle was too small.
The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I booked 10 rooms. All of the guests were pleased with the standard of accommodation and the hotel location/aspect. There were nice touches such as complimentary bikes and canoes. The cocktail waiter was particularly enthusastic, offering drinks "with a twist". :-) Parking is restricted to the street. We did not mind but people precious about their cars might be !
It was amazing. The place is beautiful in front of the beach. We had a great time there to relax.
Good well kept hotel - beautiful views over sea from terrace - pleasant sunbathing area - short walk to bars and restaurants if needed - rooms could be a little better for price but excellent balcony with seaview
Very nice hotel close to the beach. Very friendly and serviceminded family who owns the hotel. Good value for money
It was the first time we were to Imperia and we loved it very much. The hotel staff was very kind (it is a family managed hotel), the rooms were very clean, breakfast was fair, we couldn't use the pool due to the mid-august rain but we enjoyed the hotel location vey much. If you are a couple looking for a GREAT vacation - this is your place ! in the evening you can walk to the nearest restarant or take a short drive to the ciry.
Fabulous room and facilities - pool, restaurant, staff, food was first class along with service, Bit noisy at night from neighbouring bar although beside railway this did not spoil our enjoyment. The town of Imperia was a little disappointing but the hotel was so good it didn't matter
The location is super ( 50 m from sea). the ownes is one family. They work every day in there hotel. Very luxury fish restorant. Very convinient for staing with small child
During my stay at the Locanda del Mar, I enjoyed the cleanliness, the location (near the beach), and the hotel staff was very friendly.
the owners went out of their way to be helpful. They stayed up very late the first night waiting for us because our plane had been delayed. the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the grounds, though small, are lovely.
location, vicinity to sea, view from room balcony, local medieval town. Either be ready to dance along all night or take your earplugs; there are three disco bars next door to the hotel! Great location if you have teenage children.
The owners treated you like family. They were very accommodating. The food was excellent and all homemade Nothing
Quiet airconditioned rooms, even though the railway went just beside the hotel which could be irritating when outside A very nice pool that no one used as you had to have a bath cap on, even if you didn´t dive or had your head under the water.
The pool was very nice. the rooms were very clean and there was amply storage. I will start with early morning - very early morning! The trains start. The line is no more than 20 meters from the hotel and there are about 3-4 trains per hour starting at least 5am. The hotel states it has sound proof rooms! mmmm. Breakfast is a poor affair. The staff have no idea whatsoever how to make a cup of tea - OK but don't advertise to British guests then. Hot!!! not really, water came in a variety of utensils ranging from a jug to a coffee pot. All are stained and not very nice. There is no bar, although they will serve you with drinks when the restaurant is open. Next door is a very busy crazy golf bar where the holes are made of metal - back to the sound proofed rooms! Generally - it is very noisy.
The views from the room across the bay. My wife who has a slight back problem found the bed a bit hard.
Marvellous view to beach and see. Rooms are quite small.
close to beach and town no air conditioning, limited parking had to park 2 km away, loud party across the street until 4 am and high volume of vehicle traffic during the day
Very nice and friendly girls on the reception. Breakfast asortiments.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Constant noise from traffic especially mopeds did spoil our sea view room but worse were the late night beach parties that could last until 4 am. This did spoil our stay. The level of the noise was intolerable and impossible to sleep through.
The location next to the beach was great and the option to rent a discounted beach chair was nice. The internet service stopped at 9pm. I would have been nice if it had been available an hour or two later.
Homely and friendly WiFI connection is availalbe in the lobby only
Good location at beach side. Friendly image. Bad condition room. Too narrow and shabby. No good service and breakfast. It is make light of japanese, for example different from my request. (narrow sppace and not balcony.
It was central and easy access to Beach etc Having to pay to park the car
Fair location (just a busy street to cross to access the beaches and harbour) Staff was not at all welcoming - No help for luggage - Rooms, lobby, elevator and breakfast room very old-fashioned and cheap-looking - Hair-dryer broken - Restricted air-conditioning (we had to claim 3 times to have it working though the temperature of the room was very high)
I am a return visitor - several times, I think that says everything! Its perfect if you want to go to Diano Marina, San Bartolomeo, or Cervo as they are all just a short walking distance.
The private beach, beautiful gardens, swimming pool and courteous helpful staff The pavement outside was very narrow
view from room
This is my second time at the Eden Park and I will return, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the hotel and facilities very comfortable. The hotel is also nicely positioned for walks into Diano Marina ? San Bartolomeo and Cervo. All in all I have only good things to say.
