The host is veny nice great breakfast with fresh fruits handpicked by he host big room
the bed was not very confortable. the bathroom smelled bad and the door of the shower was falling off
The owner is really kind and helpful as he can give you several advices on the area and the beaches but he should really work on improving his B&B.
The B&B is old and poorly maintained. We stayed in room A and it smelled really bad. I think there was an unfixed problem with the sewer. Fortunately we had to stay just one day but it was the worst of our 15-days trip in Sardinia. The owner should really reinvest part of his earnings in rebuilding and modernising the rooms. Our room was really old as well as the bathroom. The B&B is not so cheap to justify such poorly maintained structure. The breakfast was poor and the served croissants were old and quite disguting. You are not going to find an international breakfast here. Definetely the worst part of our stay was the bad smell from the sewer of the structure.
The price was reasonable for the area at the time of our booking. The host is helpful and makes an effort. The location is convenient for reaching most of the nice beaches in the area.
The wardrobe!!! The railing was placed 2m high: impossible to reach without climbing on a stool ... Wi-fi is terrible The place in general doesn't smell nice, our room showed signs of damp on walls and felt damp and not aired enough. A small shelf unit in the bathroom could be helpful in a room that can accomodate 4 people. The same can be said for few hooks to hang towels (currently only 1)
The host was the best. He is so kind and gave us a lot of infos about Sardinia.
Beautifully spacious n prettily decorated room, in a cute sleepy town. The managers wife was there in the morning and very sweet, kind and chatty. I asked to have breakfast earlier than the usual hour n they accomodated that no problem. There was a huge bowl of fruit to take from, which I loved. I loved the spaciousness of the room and the little shared patio behind it. Its a ten min carride from stunning beaches, and right up the road from local shop/coffee place w delicious pastries. In the town itself you wont find much, locals look a little disinterested, but its authentic and cute and quiet and millions of stars come out at night. You can also walk up n out of the town up a little mountain path, so quiet and beautiful.
Worst mattrass in the world, terrible acoustics (i was probably annoying others the most though; I had a bad cough), plastic plates and cutlery for breakfast (seriously...like a tiny plastic plate for a kids bday party...) I was shocked to see a tray w a plastic plate and mug with plastic cutlery, set out for each guest to use fr breakfast. But then it got weirder, when I saw the manager actually Washed the plastic cutlery to be reused. Very unhealthy (plastics degrade; plastics are unsustainable, unenvironmental), very unsanitary, very unapetizing. Also wasnt a huge fan of the manager just hanging around whilst I was eating. When I arrived no one really introduced themselves, they just ushered me into a room, in part due to their lack of english perhaps...then again, saying ones name and welcome/bienvenutti is quite an internationally given. The mattrass had a massive bump in the middle. You could only lay "comfortably" on the sides. I suspect they procured the cheapest shampoo single-portion packages available. Seemed expensive (40euro/night) for what it was. Id also suggest they remove some dustwebs from the ceiling corners.
With a stay at L'Onda Blu in Domus de Maria, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Baia Chia Beach and Spiaggia di Santa Margherita di Pula.
