The check in and room staff were all great, the location was ok with a tram just a few minutes walk away, convenient to the city centre and docks, although a taxi is recommended for docks tram point to ship.
We felt misled by the 'children opening hours' on the website indicating that children could use the facilities approx. 9.00-5.30pm, in fact children can only use the main pool during those hours, but can never use the gym or sauna.
Nice personell, car parking, swimming pool
Room too warm, non air conditioning available. Broken TV, WiFi disconnecting many times during day. Swimming pool is outside the hotel
Bar staff unaccommodating . Cocktails were served warm with little to no ice. Requests for ice were met with snide remarks about " drinks don't need to be that cold."
It has a gym and fitness center. It is not in downtown but can connect easily. Large rooms and bathrooms.
We had an issue with the shower tap. Hot water not working. At the second floor, narrow windows and low ceilings. Apart from that our stay was OK.
The hotel staff were brilliant and gave me a room on the ground floor that was better suited to my height as some of the upper floor rooms have sloped ceilings. Loved the smart TV with You-tube and Netflix channels. The fitness centre is just next door and although i only used the gym all the equipment was available in good supply and it was not too busy at the times i used it. The selection at breakfast was good and the surroundings were stately.
Room was slightly on the small side but there are larger rooms with dining areas available on request. This was the first time i had stayed here and will certainly be coming back soon but will request a larger room.
