10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!

Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

Pros: The room was beautiful and well stocked. Loved the idea of the continental breakfast already in the room so no need to meet others timetable. Grocery store and restaurant in walking distance. Owner incredibly helpful. Great experience!!
Cons: The ability to get ice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room at Rose Cottage - it is perfectly located near to the airport and felt like a small haven on our night before leaving Ireland. The layout of the room was quite lovely and the small kitchen area was set up with food and treats to enjoy so that we could make it out for our flight. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful - we had a major issue (quite out of anyone's control) just before leaving and they went absolutely above and beyond to ensure that our morning went smoothly and we made it to the airport on time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was the nicest accommodation I’ve stayed in for some time.Rose cottage was so comfy and luxurious. Everything was thought of. I would highly recommend it
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with all the amenities required. Food provided for breakfast was great. Very handy location to Dublin airport.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed our first night in Ireland here after an evening arrival at the airport and before driving out to the west coast. It was a wonderful stay, start to finish. The rooms are so thoughtfully planned, and had everything we might've needed and more (umbrellas to borrow! makeup remover! orange juice and fresh milk in the mini-fridge!). There's a nice walking path just outside the cottage, too - we went for a long walk in the morning before we hit the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A continental breakfast was provided that included coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, cheese and a variety of snacks that was great. A charming cottage on the outside revealed a luxurious and up to date room that catered to your every need and more. A wonderful bathroom with great water pressure, instant hot water and large shower with everything (shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner) you could possibly need brought this room to an excellence beyond a 10+ rating. All the details were there. We thoroughly enjoyed the room in The Rose Cottage. Plus the location was extremely good for access to Dublin airport and downtown Swords. The proprietor was wonderful, answered all our questions and was very helpful
Cons: Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dominicka was a gracious hostess, taking time to offer dining suggestions, explain driving directions, and show us the amenities. Breakfast far, far exceeded our expectations. We LOVED this place and did not want to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for morning flight back to the States. Very clean, comfortable with a continental breakfast setup in your room to make it even easier to get up and out.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with great facilities. Everything we needed was catered for. Very quiet location and great host.
Cons: Nothing - all was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Rose Cottage was exceptional. We were met by Dominika as we arrived, who kindly showed us to our room and advised of where we could go for dinner and where to leave the room keys when we were leaving (at 4am!). The room was very quiet, comfortable, and the breakfast selection was just amazing! There was plenty of choice and Dominika had very kindly included some alternative options to suit dietary requirements. We will not hesitate to stay here again.
Cons: Everything was great.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.

Thank you Mary and Jim for making us feel welcome. We will come and stay again.
Cons: Nothing it was fabulous
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying with Mary and Jimmy is like staying with old friends. They couldn't do enough....directions, eating suggestions, Irish whiskey before bed, choice of 6 or 7 things for breakfast. If we took the bus into Dublin, they were willing to drive us to the bus rather than leave a car. How many B & B do it?
Cons: They only own this -1- B & B. Would have loved to have stayed longer or in another city with them!

Pros: Olive is a wonderful hostess. We were greeted warmly on arrival & taken to our room. It was comfortable and cozy in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of options. When we left for the airport we were given directions that kept us away from early morning commuter traffic & that was a welcome time saver.
Cons: No complaints but visitors should be prepared to travel to town for meals, scenery, and events. The location, however, is only a quick drive to Malahide Castle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful hostess.
Cons: Bathroom was pretty tight but functional and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean B&B. Large selection at breakfast in a very peaceful room looking into the garden. My son enjoyed playing and running in the large garden. Olive and Henry are very friendly and hospitable and gave excellent advice. We also had a brilliant time at Malahide Castle which we would highly recommend.

The place was so easy to find. We used Waze app. Bed comfy and breakfast amazing. We stayed at 5 B&B in Ireland throughout the trip and this stay was the best out of all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great, and the little touches in the room made a nice experience into a lovely one. Mary and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant, we'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Dublin.
Cons: Off street parking was welcome, but limited. We had to block in another guest (luckily we left before them) and a further guest had to block us in - it wasn't a problem as they were on hand to move their car, but if they hadn't been we could have missed our ferry.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts! Great breakfast. Nice location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are very friendly and eager to make your stay very pleasant. Location is great if you are traveling without a car. The car parking is a little tricky but our host Eamon provided us excellent information on how to pay the parking fee of €6 per day. Also it was stated in the booking that there was no onsite parking but parking could be secured at the across the street parking lot. So we knew not to expect onsite parking before we arrived.
Cons: There was a TV in the room but we could not get a connection when we turned it on. We did not ask our hosts about it but I’m sure they would have helped if we asked. We just spent time reading instead. So not really a problem or something we did not like.

Pros: The owner is awesome. The quarter is quiet and you can park your car for free from Saturday at 7pm till Monday at 7am. The house is also high level.

Pros: Superb location (for us for the IRONMAN70.3 Dun Laoghaire), nice, helpful owners and a very friendly atmosphere. Full Irish breakfast or something lighter made by the owners; a great start of the day! We'll gladly come back again.
Cons: Price was relatively high for basically a bed, water cooker, small shower/bath room, wifi and breakfast. Room was facing the street side and people on the street woke us up several times per night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless accommodation , extremely friendly couple , couldn't do enough to make us comfortable ,went to a lot of trouble to provide alternatives for vegetarian breakfast . Very easy to find from Dart station ,given lots of advice regarding local restaurants and activities.

Pros: The location right on the beach and the quietness were the two main things we really appreciated the most.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The venue itself is very nice.
Cons: The staff in the bar manager was particularly rude. With the bar manager taking such an exception to being criticised for his manner by one woman that he closed the residents bar ridiculously early. If I owned the hotel I would be disgusted at a loss of income from multiple customers just because staff don't have the people skills to deal with people.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: quality of staff the decor of the bar
Cons: only had buffet breakfast could not buy a sandwich in the morning for golf golf course poorly managed - slow play , people cutting in in front of us

Cons: Breakfast was average at best
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Decor and location.
Cons: Very slow service in casual restaurant. No ala carte option in the formal dining room
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent!
Cons: I asked for a room with a bath and was put into a room with a shower that was also equipped for a disabled person. When I checked in my credit card was refused twice which was very embarrassing. When I telephoned my bank they confirmed that my card was acceptable and the fault lay with the hotel - apparently there was a change early September on how to put through credit card authorisation. I passed this information onto the receptionist who looked at me like I was crazy for daring to mention that they were at fault
7.1 Good
Pros: Location by sea
Cons: Average food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience was excellent. Staff friendly & very helpfull.Room fresh & bright.Bed comfortable & good size.Food very good
Cons: When you asked who I travelled with, you gave an option of partner, but not of wife. The option of family is a poor substitute. I do feel strongly about this omission. We have stayed with you on 5 or 6 occasions, but this may be the last.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the hotel because is elegant, comfortable and classic style!! It' my second time there, the atmosphere is familiare and we can also do some sport there. We love the beach and the golf field.
6.5 Good
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events. Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly. We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good. Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.

Pros: excellent value for money- reasonably lively- food so so- rooms a little "ancient", but adequate
6.0 Good
Pros: the staff were very helpful and friendly.the bar was cosy and well staffed food was good value for money and very nice with large portions.drinks were also reasonably priced.all round very enjoyable stay.
6.7 Good
Pros: The position overlooking the harbour at Dun Laoghaire is superb. The location is ideal for travel to Dublin using the DART and there are good shops and restaurants locally. The hotel can have local musicians performing.
Cons: The rooms at the front can be noisy from the trains and if there is an event on a Saturday night as they are over the bar. However the magnificent view out to sea is compensation. The maintenance of the rooms needed a little attention.
5.2 Okay
Pros: Great view
Cons: 2 single beds joined together with a lump in the middle which was uncomfortable. The room is advertised as a double but 2 single beds pushed together is not a double bed.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Seaview. Wifi in lobby work well. Plenty of parking space.
Cons: No wifi in room unfortunately. On arrival only one of four lightfittings in room worked! Implies poor maintenance. When pointed out to reception all were quickly fixed, though. Breakfast at ten euro very poor. Extremely limited selection and bad attention to topping up the buffet.
7.6 Good
Pros: Meals were very good and value for money and all the staff were exceptionally helpful
Cons:
4.8 Okay
Pros: Great location, handy for Dart and a short walk to the seafront and the centre of town. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We were on the back of the hotel and it was quiet for sleeping - no traffic noise and no noise from the bar. Breakfast was very good for the price with the exception of the coffee which tasted boiled. The location was great for the fast ferry terminal which we were leaving on the next day
Cons: Hard to get suitcases into the reception area through double doors and up steep steps. Carpets and fittings in the reception area are tired and don't give a good first impression. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling and tiles gave another bad first impression.
6.4 Good
Pros: The hotel provided all I needed. I was able to come and go as I wanted, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was fine and the breakfast was excellent and well served.
Cons: The only thing I wanted and couldn't find was instructions for working the television remote control.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: hard to explain
Cons: nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean rooms, easy check-in
Cons: CCTV all around premises without prior notice in the booking 0 insulation on doors so every word can be heard from living room Security alarms in place during night and in the morning until afternoon, made it feel uncomfortable to return to the premises during these times (although the option is there to disengage a triggered alarm with a code) - seemed very unnecessary in a neighborhood like this and with the abundance of CCTV everywhere
7.5 Good
Pros: The house is very close to the Luas and the Leopardstown Shopping Centre.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Very small. Bath room didn’t have towel bars, cups or bath soap. Walls thin when it came to noise. GPS didn’t locate it properly. A ways from the airport and city.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good place to stay. Good facilities and very clean. Loved it. Gonna come back again!
Cons: I had shared bathroom so in the mornings it got very busy for all.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to LUAS
Cons: Rooms beside kitchen noisy and lacking privacy. Non-smoking establishment but smoking allowed in garden where guests transfer fumes to inside. Rooms are quite small and linen/towels are not changed during stay. In those respects Tintawn is overpriced for the quality of service offered. Nevertheless Tintawn is very clean and offers reasonable facilities

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, absolutely spotless bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of complimentary stuff in the room - coffee, tea, Nespresso, water, wine, crisps. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was also very good. This is a B&B to which other B&Bs should be compared to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary was very welcoming and accommodating, the staff were all very professional and helpful, the room was comfortable and the complementary snacks and drinks were a nice touch.
Cons: Nothing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was very nice and had everything you could need as well as two miniature bottles of wine!
Cons: I was taking my 24 year old niece away for the weekend to see the C2C concert. I am 52 years old and we both present ourselves respectably. We do not look like riff raff and nor do we expect to be treated as such. We arrived and were obviously being viewed on camera as Lulu came straight away to greet us. Parking is difficult as it's a small space, its made more difficult with trees and bushes that are growing into the car parking spaces and someone watching your every move. I asked Lulu to go in and we would go to reception when we were ready. She still stood on. She said she'd help with luggage, I said no, three times and she still insisted. I know she was trying to be helpful but if a customer feels bad about someone smaller than them carrying their luggage then they should be listened to. Lulu was lovely and respectful, but if someone says no, please listen. You do not need to be so pushy. I checked in and discovered the small print was wrong i.e. although it says they would take payment 3 days before arrival, and despite having my card details, they didn't. I had to hand over copy of my ID and then the card machine wouldn't work. At first I was told it was because my card was a UK card, then I was told it was because I hadn't told my bank I was going to a different country. Wrong on both counts. My card was a Halifax visa card that I can use anywhere in the world AND the Halifax no longer require you to tell them when you go abroad. We were then pushed for cash but I explained if I handed over all my cash I'd have nothing left to pay the taxi to town later on. We agreed I would pay 100 euro cash there and then and pay the balance on check out next morning. I called my bank when we went to our room and they confirmed no connection had been made and the fault was the card machine itself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This really did over exceed my expectations. With a beautiful seaview room, amazing breakfast (catering so well to my dietary needs) and staff where over and beyond helpful. Mary the owner was just amazing. Attention to detail was incredible. Will definitely stay here again!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was nicely furnished and very clean with comfortable beds, robes, and a generous supply of tea and coffee. Mary and her staff could not be more accommodating, both before and during our stay. (Can't imagine her being rude as indicated in a prior review.) We were provided converters to use and great free WIFi. The local shopping area and the bus to town was just a block away. Mary or her staff were there to help answer any question we had. We definitely would stay again if in Dublin.
Cons: Nothing. Though the location is out from City Center, it's not a major inconvenience. Our luggage was held until check-in so we could go into City Center. We were accommodated in extending our checkout time because of our later check in time with the upcoming cruise. Nothing bad or disturbing can be said about Beach House B & B.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best B&B ever, superb reception and service, top accomodation on all levels, nice spot to return to after a day and evening in Dublin. Their full Irish breakfast was a mind bender. Great people!
Cons: As we always sleep with open window the traffic was quite audible from the room, though never really disturbing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Guesthouse with lovely staff & wonderful bean an tí! We had everything we needed & more!! A lot of thought has gone into the running of Beach House & we will return
Cons: The only down side was we had no hot water for a shower but it was explained there was a problem that morning, these things happen!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, proximate to Aviva Stadium. If we were staying longer, would have benefitted even more from superb seaside walks. Excellent welcome tray, good choice of teas & coffees. And wine, now there's a first! A+
Cons: Nothing! Very pleased
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived I was late for a match in the Aviva stadium (next door) Mary took care of my car and allowed me to go on to the match . Next morning I needed away before breakfast time - no problem , early cooked breakfast-excellent service.

Pros: The meals were fine
Cons: The name and number of the property was not visible. There was a tent/awning in front of the property. We knew a bar was there but we did not know there was a running event on. The first receptionist was extremely rude but other staff were friendly. One room was so small that one could barely squeeze between the bed and walls.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was very impressed with the room service. When I arrived the maid was very helpful helping me to my room and kept me supplied with fresh towels and a clean room every day. She was great.

Pros: Was disappointed that breakfast was not served before 8.45. The location was good.
Cons: Was disappointed that breakfast was not served before 8.45 as we had to catch an early flight.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: First impressions were good but that very quickly changed when I realised the bed sheets contained somebody else’s hairs!! Sheets were not changed, room had no wall vents making sleeping very uncomfortable. Road noise high especially as property beside an extremely busy junction. Pedestrian lights were beeping all night. Accommodation management not very helpful and didn’t really care about the complaint I made the next day.
Cons: nothing, The room was modern but lack of cleaning like dust on top of high fixtures shows that the rooms never receive proper attention. Would avoid this property at all costs. Breakfast only starts at 9am!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Close to airport and had an interesting bar
Cons: It was not a Deluxe Bedroom. It was small despite the double bed and up a flight of stairs with a small bathroom. Although the staff were friendly they all go at night and don’t return until 9:00 am.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfy bed. Tasty freshly cooked breakfast.
Cons: No tea/ coffee making facilities in bedroom but communal kitchen beside rooms.

7.5 Good
Pros: The host was very kind, helpful and accommodating. She let us do a very late check-in (1 AM). Gave us good tips on getting around Dublin. Great location. close proximity to the train station. Breakfast was limited continental - bread, jam, cereal, oats, milk and tea. Nice, spacious and clean bathroom.
Cons: We were a party of 7 and felt the room was a bit crammed with 6 beds, a bunk bed and just one bathroom (one could imagine a busy morning). There was not enough space for us to open our luggage to get things out which was a bit uncomfortable. The air circulation was poor leading to sweaty nights. The room could use some standalone fans and ventilation.
