Dunmore Town hotels

Pros: Location and rooms are lovely, particularly the ocean front rooms that have direct beach access and amazing views. Food was also very good.

Cons: Breakfast started late, 8am and was only until 10. Dinner was only 7-9 and they were pushing you to order if it was even remotely close to closing time. My husband had an issue at the beach bar when he tried to order some snacks at 337 and the bar was closing at 5. Initially, they did not want to serve him. Some of the staff at Coral Sands are not very friendly, however there are some good guys that were delightful. Can’t think of his name but the server at breakfast and lunch, started with a D, was very, Very nice

Pros: Staff is so friendly, everyone wants you to enjoy yourself, facilities are clean comfortable, convenient and the environment is so special.

Cons: Need to have access to coffee before 8am.

Pros: The resort is breathtaking ! The advertised pictures actually meet and exceed your expectations! Gorgeous beaches, pool and facilities. The resort has a full gym (it is a great touch that I don't think other resorts have on the island) The resort provides a continental breakfast complimentary to guests. It consists of either a fruit bowl or granola and yogurt. It is a nice touch however it lists for 18 dollars. There are other items listed on the menu for that or below and should be available complimentary if they are the same price or below. The staff (with exception of the below) are friendly and helpful.

Cons: The service to the room needs improvement. We had to ask several times for new towels and/or the daily complementary water. You shouldn't have to ask multiple times during your stay. Requests to the room staff were also forgotten or ignored. Once responding to the front desk or bar it was quickly rectified but a guest shouldn't have to do this much work for the basics of the room to be covered.

Pros: The hotel is more like an elegant home and you are treated like a cherished member of the family. It is peaceful and quiet in the day and full of diners at dinner time - anxious to consume the wonderful dishes they offer. The pool area with the private cabanas are comfortable and well maintained as is the entire property.

Cons: Leaving the Rock House!

Pros: Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very comfortable bed. Super room amenities. Restaurant serves excellent dinner menu.

Cons: Natural light in Monkey room was limited.

Pros: Annette did a amazing job serving us delicious breakfasts each morning out on the veranda by the lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic. From coconut waffles to french toast to egg wraps and bacon with fresh juicy fruit and amazing coffee... all was great! The location was only 20 min from the north airport. You must be prepared for the bumpy last 2 miles to Ocean Tally! There is a reason it is so amazingly private. The private Ocean Tally beach on the Caribbean side was pristine. Lots of green turtles, some small nurse sharks, and large red starfish populated the waters there. The sailing excursion Annette set us up with (Bob's Sailing) picked us up right at their Ocean Tally dock, 3 min drive down the road. Annette and Miles were very helpful for all our needs, from suggesting dining choices, to beach locations, to the sailing adventure, to the power boat excursion (yes, we swam with the pigs!), to general sightseeing suggestions... all were spot on! We have told all our friends about Ocean Tally and Eleuthera!

Cons: Some of the more severe potholes could be improved, still keeping with the rustic drive to Ocean Tally.

Pros: A beautiful and relaxing place full of good energy, ideal to disconnect and rest. Annette is a great host and helped us with everything!

Cons: The property is everything and more. I did not realize the island is so undeveloped. It took a while to find restaurants, shops, etc. The beaches are gorgeous, one after another, but do your research on where to find what you expect.

Cons: fix the road

Pros: - The location is idyllic. You could not ask for a more simultaneously relaxing and invigorating place to recharge your body and soul. - The cabins are minimalistic in the best sense, allowing the fresh air and breath-taking views to dominate. - Owner/manager/host Annette is lovely! Charming, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Also breakfast was always very good!

Pros: Very peaceful and secluded down a longish unmetaled track. Perched above the ocean with a natural rock pool below. Beautiful location and extremely nice rooms. The bar and breakfast room are in a large white tower which serves as a charming land mark. Access to the bay side for beach and swimming. Popular with turtles. Short water taxi ride to Harbour island. Very enjoyable.

Pros: Beautiful deluxe cabins that were stylish and very clean. The surrounding property was serene and private. The ocean crashing along the rocks was an amazing sight. The hosts were super helpful, knowledgeable about the islands and what to do and were a delight to see every morning at breakfast (which was also great)

Pros: The host Annette and Miles were fantastic. They were both here at check in for the warm welcome and made us feel comfortable and the check out was smooth too. They really made this place the best romantic getaway experience for us and we both will be back not just for the amazing place but also for the people and vibe! The best vacation ever!!!

Pros: This place is well beyond my expectation. The view is spectacular and we received plenty of help from the host. Definitely will come back in the future. Great place to go for relaxation and have some fun.

Cons: The ride to the place is pretty rough but you will get use to it. In general nothing to complain about

Pros: Everything is perfect during the time I stayed. Host and the neighbor are friendly, patience and accommodating.

Cons: The road is rough, but it's nothing compared to the perfection of the hotel.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating with getting us a golf cart on a busy weekend, shuttled us to the dock when we checked out. Cleaned our room every day.

Cons: Brackish, salty water (not the property's fault), guests upstairs kept us up all night with extremely loud yelling and banging on floor (again, not the property's fault).

Pros: 5 minute walk from the harbor (Valentines and Government docks, where there are plenty of restaurants). 10 minute talk to the eastern beach side. Set on a relatively quiet but central street.

Cons: Room was simple but got the job done. Plenty of space!

Pros: there is no breakfast at this hotel.

Cons: air conditioning mostly poor. ceiling fan ok. day-long brownout on one of the days, no power anywhere unless one has a generator, this hotel did not.
