10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and welcoming
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and welcoming; the really lovely service we received from one member of staff in particular was the highlight of our stay! The second highlight was the food. Very good cooked breakfast options included in the price, and the availability and quality of the evening meals was also an added bonus. It was really nice not to have to go into town for dinner after a long day and/or in wet weather. Great beef stroganoff!! :)
Cons: We visited in March, so still a bit chilly, and the heating seemed to be on a timer so wasn't reliably on. However, once on it heated up quickly, and when we asked about it at reception it wasn't a problem at all for them to put it on for us. The pressure in the shower could've been better, but otherwise really can't complain. We really enjoyed our stay :)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Plenty to choose from. All staff were friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking in fron or in a big carpark behind. Nice little cosy bar with a sparkling gantry.. Nice fresh bed linen and rooms were spotlessly clean.
Cons: Shower room was a bit tight to the bed end (but that was maybe just our room.

Cedar Cottage - Dunoon
12
9.8 Excellent (6 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Could not fault this cedar cottage in any way, it was like a home from home
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This house was truly home away from home. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked right down to tupperware containers of different sizes, which is amazing when you have to always have snacks available for three kids. We absolutely loved, loved, loved the fenced in yard. The kids and our dog had so much freedom. Dunoon itself is not the nicest-looking town but there were a few interesting shops to poke around in. Lots of hiking and walking to do in the area. Pucks Glen hike, which is literally just across the road is not to be missed. We loved it. We even went to Isle of Arran for a day but this is something you really have to plan well to make sure you make the ferries in time. The hosts are the kindest and loveliest people you will meet. We were very happy with our stay!

Cons: No paths on side of roads
