Pros: All the staff was pleasant. We used the lounge for a late night family dinner. Kids loved the pool. It was warm enough with plenty of towels.
Pros: Nice size room. Comfortable beds.
Cons: We didn't receive room service for 2 nights. They didn't seem to care
Pros: Friendly staff and rooms were clean
Cons: Child had an accident in pool and it was closed. Not the hotel's fault but the pool was one of the things we wanted so our kids could play.
Pros: The room was clean and the furnishings were fresh and comfortable and the staff was helpful and pleasant
Pros: The staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Cons: Nothing I considered to be major. Overall, my experience was great.
Pros: Pleanty if space free breakfast my kids and I enjoyed ourselves.
Cons: Too much chemical in pool my son broke out in hives. His full body.
The hallways smelled fresh and not stale. The rooms were fresh smelling. My daughter and I were impressed with the linen! The pillows were exceptionally comfy and we both slept well. The location was great also. We were accessible to the expressway, a few stores and restaurants. The entrance and exit to and the hotel were nice as well.
Pros: That hotel was one of the most clean, friendliest and spacious place that I have stayed. I would highly recommend this place to a friend....
Cons: Not one thing!
Pros: the staff helped me find (wet-basement) contractors in the area by copying them from the internet. no phone books were available.
Pros: It's was a great getaway weekend destination and I will definitely be back to this hotel again.
Cons: Nothing.... Everything was perfect
Priceline's lack of interest in customer satisfaction was amazingly disappointing. I will only use the Priceline site to compare prices, then call the hotel directly and negotiate the same price in the future. Priceline lost a customer.
Pros: Friendliness of the staff, specifically the woman that managed the breakfast was the sweetest person.
Cons: Unrelated to Hampton Inn, what I didn't like was that Priceline was unable to adjust my request less than 30 seconds after I chose the wrong room configuration, even though the room I wanted was still available. No flexibility by Priceline.
The hotel overall is well maintain, cell room, with breakfast in the morning and in a great location. There is this one staff member that need some training on customer service and greeting customers. Fist she did not have a name tag on and the fist thing she said to my wife and I was check in is 4pm before she said anything else to us. It wasn't until I showed her my Hilton's Honor member card that she changed her mind and checked us in. I'm sure that Hilton hotels do not appreciate members of their staff that greet customer like this. Now, there was this other staff member that was very helpful to us later on that night when we were trying to find an address in the near by area of University Park. She gave complete detail information and even gave us the hotel's number for us to call if we had any other question on how to get there.
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the location in proximity of my business in the area.
Cons: The one and most damaging thing is the way I was treated when I arrived at the hotel to check in. My wife and I had been traveling all night from the west coast and arrived at the 1pm and the first thing we were told is check in is 4pm. No greeting.
General manager was there when we had a problem and was very unprofessional. Talked badly about priceline, and his staff member told me that they were at fault. Wasn't polite at all.
Pros: Room wasn't the cleanest. Pole was broke in closet and they had an attitude about fixing it.
Cons: Staff wasn't very helpful. I was charged an extra incidental fee. Very rude.

They had pancakes from 9:30PM-12AM. That was an awesome bonus!
Pros: Nice, spacious room. It had a desk and a refrigerator.
Cons: The sink was in the bathroom, I would prefer them separate.
Pros: all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was awesome they had everything we needed including green tea! Not one glitch the whole trip!
Cons: Nothing negative about it!
Pros: Loved the quick check in and check out, loved the room!
Pros: The room was very clean and the staff was very nice.
Overall the hotel was fine. the rooms could use an update, but it was clean and acceptable. The bed was comfortable. The internet was free, but slow.
Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. You can't ask for much more from a Holiday Inn Express.
Super friendly stuff. They helped us changed our rooms (king bed to double bed), make copies of our map, found our lost jacket, all quick and with smile. And, thanks for their recommendation we had the best deep pan pizza! Clean and decent rooms. Breakfast was hot and rich.
Pros: The stuff were super helpful.
Decent rooms, services and public spaces; nice hot breakfast
Pros: Decent rooms, services and public spaces; nice hot breakfast
Area is not good after dark unfortunately. If you stay right around the hotel and south of the highway your going to be ok. The hotel is fairly good even say night, just stay to the south side if you are not used to rough areas. Hotel was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful.
Pros: Service was good, friendly staff, breakfast was decent. Clean rooms, nice t.v. With cable channels
Cons: The couple who decided they couldn't go outside to smoke and chose to use the pool area as smoking area (indoor pool)

Pros: Location! I stay in the area, so it's perfect for when I have out of town guests.
Pros: The staff
Cons: The location
Pros: location, free breakfast
Pros: Location. Clean and nicely renovated
Cons: Jacuzzi not working. Outside security door did not require a card key although the sign indicated you needed a room key. Landline phones don't work. This icoukd be dangerous in case of an emergency.
Pros: The room was large. The cucumber water in the lobby tasted good.
Cons: The entire carpet was very damp. Sofa bed was a joke. There was a lengthy and loud fight in the room adjoining ours; the guests repeatedly attempted to enter our room. I left my name and number, but the manager didn't follow up.
Pros: Breakfast was adequate
Cons: This hotel was far below expectations. Pool cold and had to beg staff to turn on pool lights. Hot tub out of order. Fitness center turned into a storage room. Hardly anyone in the hotel, but staff assigned us a room next to late night partiers. Ripoff!
Cons: Did not sleep at all. There were people shouting and partying all night
Cons: Next room a little loud
Cons: Looking cation on a remote service road
Cons: broken door handle, cracked up bathtub
Pros: The location was good, I was going to the Tinley Park Convention Center and it's only nine minutes away.
Cons: Arrived at the hotel after driving five hours & was told we couldn't check in because we were early. Wouldn't let us check in until 3pm. Carpet looked dirty and when we got our room it had stuff all over the bathroom counter, we won't use this one again.
Pros: I have stayed here on numerous occasions and I enjoy the location, price, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: They must have a problem with people stealing towels because they were very stingy when it came to getting more towels. Also, 1 of the days of our visit the swimming pool was closed as well as our room was not cleaned.

Pros: Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable bed, chair with ottoman. Priced fairly.
Cons: This is not the best neighborhood. (Think 24 hr title loan shops, shady characters meeting at the main highway crossroads on the south side of Chicago). But the hotel is set back well off the main road, the desk clerk has a view of the parking lot, and it is VERY well lit. This is a great place to sleep, not a resort. Manage your expectations thusly.
Pros: Staff was friendly, room was very clean and comfortable, it wasn't noisy...you couldn't hear the every move of other guests staying there.

Cons: Most issues could be solved with a strong vacuum cleaner, paint, and some attention to detail. Importantly, however, the bedding was fine and everything in the room functioned properly.
Pros: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING KAYAK THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND PROVIDED ME WITH NO ROOM BECAUSE THE HOTEL WAS SOLD OUT.
Pros: When i left.
Cons: The hotel price. Construction. Renovations. Air conditioner doesn't work.

Pros: Nice clean room. Great location. Close to tons of restaurants and fast food joints, the mall and lots of stores. Overall a comfortable stay. We missed breakfast the first morning and checked out super early the next day to drive back home before the storm came in.
Cons: First night, people were extremely noisy! The room above us stomped the entire night. Rooms close to ours were loud. Had to call front desk but nothing was really done. Second night was a lot quieter. My one year old was quieter!

Pros: The location was close to the interstate and hollywood amphitheater.
Cons: Room had no working phone
Room had no cable
Called front desk to see if there was another room we could be switched to the front deskman said no, so I asked to talk to a manager he refused said he could call the cops, in which I replied ok go for it. Police showed up and told him gives us another room, and then he some how had a vacant room. In the morning another couple complained about the smell of sewage in their room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel spend a little extra and stay somewhere else.

Pros: When we inspected the room......There was a wet stain on the sheets. Room spelled like a lit cigarette. Chester-staff on duty.....tried to imply that we put a wet spot on the sheets because the room had been empty for 3 days.....after being told thereporters was another double bed room...we are given "the jacuzzi suite" .....IT SUCKED!!!!! IT Was 1 queen bed and a big jacuzzi tub, which we were afraid to sit in because the hotel was so dirty!!!! Definitely DON'T recommend this place! !!!--AND NO BREAKFAST LIKE ADVERTISED......FALSE ADVERTISEMENT .....also we could hear the next door neighbors. ....

Pros: Counter staff were friendly. Cheap rate. Convenient location near major highway. Many local food options.
Cons: Noisy guests and groups of people / teenagers. People constantly loitering / hanging out in lobby, parking lot, doorways. Room smelled like cigarettes. Plexiglass barrier at front desk..? Rough neighborhood? I think so.
Extended Stay America Chicago - Lansing is a great choice for a stay in Lansing. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 6 AM and 9:30 AM. Rooms feature kitchens, pillowtop beds, and flat-screen TVs.
Cons: When we arrived after 10:00PM, fire alarms were going off and shortly after a fire truck arrived. Not a good start. And while it turns out the hotel was not on fire, it was still loud, and on for over 15 minutes. There was also a church service going on in the breakfast area of the hotel, and it was a very loud evangelical church service. So between the fire alarms and the sermon being blasted through a microphone this hotel was not particularly conducive to sleep. When we got to our non-smoking room it reached of cigarette smoke. The carpets, walls, and curtains were disgusting. I went to take a shower and noticed a sign that said something along the lines of "If you don't turn on the over head fan while you shower the steam will build up and cause the fire alarms to go off." I am disheartened that I paid for this room, and I am confused as to why this hotel has any positive ratings. I have lost faith with Days Inn as a hotel chain.
Pros: I only used the room to sleep and shower. If that's all you need its good for that. About 30min from downtown Chicago and very close to Indiana.
Cons: Facility seemed to be falling apart (my room didn't even have the number on the door because it feel off and was never replaced). Breakfast is free but weak and poorly stocked. Walls were thin and could here TV set in adjoining room
Cons: As a none smoker I had a non smoking room which smelt like smoke. You leave smelling and feeling like you smoked a pack of cigarettes. Drive a few extra miles to a nicer place.

We offer Free High Speed Wireless Internet, Free Daybreak Breakfast, Fitness Room, In-Room Coffee, Suite Rooms and much more. We are located near many area restaurants and attractions.
Pros: The location was close to where I was going and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Waking up and seeing many hairs in the bed I was in. Also, finding blood stains severely grossed me out. Also, waking up the overwhelming smell of pot being smoked from someone in another room down the hall. A large gap under the door, not private.
It needed some work done on the hall way floors, the bedroom doors didn't cone all the way down to the floor. I had to put the blanket down to keep the outside in! Oh yea,the water pressure was very bad.
Pros: The room size.
Cons: I didn't like walking inn and seeing a homeless guy just hanging out in the entry way. It want a good impression or smell, will not stay there again!
Cons: Heat did not work, When I called the desk attendant I was informed that I would have to come down and pick up an electric heater, People in the room next door to me has Pitbulls in the Hallway barking half the night

There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. Chicago is 20 miles from Beacon Motel, and Joliet is 22 miles away. The nearest airport is Midway International Airport, 14 miles from Beacon Motel.
Cons: One of the most disgusting hotels we have ever stayed at. Red splatter marks on door jam (blood?), burns in comforter, broken furniture, stains on carpet. Why is it listed as 3 star??? This is less than a 1 star. It was awful.
Cons: Toliet was clogged would not flush, stains/dirty walls, dirty carpet in hallways (not stains, clearly vaccummable), no hot water in shower.
Pros: Staff Was friendly.
Cons: Hotel was HORRIBLE. Hallway smells like weed. Room smells of musky damp dirt. In a HORRIBLE part of town. Lamps in the room had the buttons broken off of it. So couldn't turn some on. Bathroom counter was held up with 2x4s. Cracks in the walls. HORRIBLE
Cons: This place was terrible. Mold on the ceiling and around air condition unit.Floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. It is a non-smoking hotel but yet all you could smell was marijuana and all bedding had burn holes. Sink held with 2x4 no soap!
Pros: The cost and location
Cons: You get what you pay for. No breakfast and the hallways smelled like someone was smoking weed. The toilet plunger hadn't been put away and was broken. And there were beads from someone's hair all over the room
Pros: I was told it was getting renovated, and they were about to work on the floor I was on . The hotel has potential, I would like to see if will do what is needed.
Cons: The poor young lady was accommodating the best she could , the key coder didn't work. She had to take you to your room. The bathroom plumbing, water pressure, quilts dated, carpet worn. It shouldve been a --- dollar room with a warning instead of ----
Pros: It was 15min from where I needed to be.
Cons: EVERYTHING!!! It smelled like marijuana and people were smoking through the halls and in rooms on the nonsmoking floor. Blood on our headboard!!!!
Pros: I will never go there ever again and I will tell my family & friends not to go there.
Cons: Some of the staff are nice to have one worker and it works behind the counter she's nice but this one the boss  she had a nasty attitude she stole my husband's Apple Watch and we call the police and try to make it seem that he lost
Pros: The low price for a suite.
Cons: The window didn't open.
Pros: It was close to where we were headed that night.
Cons: Not very clean. One of two rooms smelled like smoke. No tv remote, no sound on tv. Toilet was stuck right after we got there. Not a pleasant experience at all. It was only a 3 star hotel, but it didn't meet 3 star expectations.
Pros: I hated the experience and they didn't have my reservation also my card was charged so I had to pay cash for the room and my card was charged
Cons: The hotel was terrible.
When you stay at Southland Inn & Suites, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks.
Cons: Room cleaning was not up to part. I have photos.
Pros: The location was excellent
Cons: It wasn't the cleanest, but they did say that they were renovating. I expected something nicer. My pillow cases looked dirty and they only had two bath towels in my room no face towels. The elevator and hall floor was not the cleanest either.
Cons: The room was dingy, so much so that I refused to shower there and had a hard time justifying to myself that I needed to sleep in the bed. Also, I needed to check out early,by 6:30am.There was no breakfast set up though it was supposed to start at 6am.
Pros: The bottom two floors were all motel style (which I don't like), but the third floor was all indoor hotel style (which I do like). I was on the third floor, so that was nice. The room itself was pretty spacious. It had a desk, microwave, & decent shower.
Cons: Summer & the pool was closed. The TV quality was bad. Whether it was the cable or the TV itself, everything I tried to watch was fuzzy. The guy who was there when I checked in had a thick accent and wasn't very nice. The guy there in the morning was nice.
Cons: Very dirty, breakfast is horrible and staff is unpleasent
Pros: This is an affordable stay off the highway.
Cons: This place was rough. The room was unclean, smelly and full of cigarette burns. The kind of place where they find a dead body in a detective show. The check-in desk is surrounded by surveillance monitors, suggesting that the place is not really safe.
Cons: Everything , It was dirty, there was a smell in the room, the bath tub and ceiling had mildew.
