The room was very comfy and we liked the modern décor. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent...a great choice of cooked dishes as well as a good range of meat, cheese, fruit, cereal etc. The croissants were GORGEOUS! My daughter and I had come up to the theatre...this hotel was on the street opposite the theatre and in a perfect location to walk into the shopping area, castle...we loved our visit and will definitely stay there again.
Location was fine
Bar was expensive, faulty tap in bathroom, room very small for price and description, not a full mini bar compared to other guests
We had exceptional service from Vincent the head receptionist on our arrival. He could not have been more pleasant or helpful.
Very useful location as tram right outside for travelling to airport. Also near cinema and restaurants.
Steep steps to entrance - not easy with case, but maybe not allowed to create a ramp.
Location is good. Next to the York Place team stop.
Housekeeping don’t wear any kind of uniform or identification. On our first morning, I returned to our room and thought it was being broken into. A casually dressed male was in there. Check out is 12pm. So, why were housekeeping knocking on the door at 09:30? Surely they know which rooms have checked out? Given that the fire alarm had gone off briefly at 07:00am, hardly a relaxing start to the day! The room was tiny. The TV was at the bottom of the bed. View was over building works at the rear of the hotel.
