Evening Meal was excellent. Room huge
it is a nice and quiet place the pillow and duvet could have bee better
- nice location - bedlinen was not clean
We only stayed at this hotel on an overnight stop however found it pleasant and comfortable. Staff were most helpful particularly as they were under pressure coping with a wedding and a bus party.
Its a perfect hotel, it was my 2nd time there and a 3rd time is planned already, staff is just so friendly and polite, most of them speak English too which can help, the new comfort double rooms are gorgeous, breakfast is quite tasty, a lot of choice of different foods, we just love that hotel and its location, its peaceful, quiet, nice big forest just behind which is perfect to walk the dog, really nothing wrong about this place nothing, everything is perfect
Very good food, very poor room (no curtains, so no open window possible also no aircirculation: you'll receive muskito's all over the place)
The breakfast was wonderful even though a staff member slammed a pot of coffee down on the table startling both my wife and I. We shared a tiny balcony with the ajoining room and there was no partition or divider for privacy, only a railing.
The dinner!. We eat one day the buffet, but because we are later, the food was in complet disorder. I sugest that use small "pan" in the buffet, and them , when is necessary, complet wiht another full "pan".
Hotel staff was very friendly, room spaceous and clean. Very flexible with different dinner wishes.
There is a problem with the parking over the night! They do not have so much places to park your car.
The rooms need to be modernized a bit, they have 80ish looks, although they are very clean
The Hotel was very clean and the staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the service was great. If you are looking for a wonderful quite location to relax and take in the beautiful country side of the Eifel and stay in an excellent hotel then this would be the place to go. The rates are very reasonable for the accomodations that are provided.
Lovely bright, light rooms - most helpful, friendly staff, good breakfast.
The hotel decor is cheerful and friendly and the breakfast presentation was very well done. Also our late arrival was handled well. Bathroom large and modern and beds and furnishings very good.
The staff were incredibly friendly. The terras and the room have great view of the mosel The TV was not bigger than a beercard.
The atmosphere, river view and surrounding valley. Good food, lovely friendly staff.
Very friendly staff, good food. Of course, not everyone can have a room with a view on the river...
Very helpful None
the service at the hotel was excellent, staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. excellent location. couldn't be better.
The staff were very helpfull and friendly. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The location and view wonderfull. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room.
It was a really relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.
It was only for one night. The view from the window over the old town square was good. It was only a b&b hotel. No checking if all was ok at breakfast - eg more coffee.
The staff and the breakfast. Not a lot of room to sit in room.
Good positioned in city center, nice crew, clean
extra pillows available and tea making facilities in room would be wonderful
We hadn't made a reservation for the parking the hotel offers (5 eur), and actually parked our car 50 m from hotel entrance absolutely free of charge. Breakfast selection is nice and includes fresh fruit and vegetables, besides they ask if you would like scrambled eggs or boiled eggs and bring them to your table right from the kitchen. Although the hotel is nice and we did not have any complaints about it, the price (90 eur doubble room) seems exaggerated for a 3 star hotel in a small German town.
Very clean, we asked for a bath and we got one, the staff was very helpfull with information about where to go and what to do. The breakfast was good. We have seen better beds, there a little on the hard side, but they're not bad..
Elka Bastgen was the perfect hostess and made us very welcome. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was a delight. Wonderful experience!
Beautifully furnished and spotlessly maintained elegant Town House. The owner goes out of her way to be hospitable and is a great cook No
friendly owner - very luxurious - delicious breakfast - nice town. no
All of the above plus the professionalism of the owner and the courtesy upon my arrival. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to that area later this year. No. Everything was much better than I expected.
The owner, Frau Bastgen, was a gracious and welcoming hostess....champagne on the back terrace was wonderful as was the time spent with her after dinner in the front parlor. Breakfast was exceptional.
A warm welcome, the excellent breakfast and very good travel and visiting tips. very nice and luxuous decorated house and rooms. nothing
Personal attention and interest. Nice (bath)room and facilities. Fantastic breakfast. Useful information for making trip in the area.
large and clean family-room, friendly staff, excellent cuisine
Hotel owners were just wonderful and spoke English which was so helpful. Having drinks on the patio in the backyard was idyllic. Dinner was very good. (Included) breakfast buffet was good, including excellent coffee. The town of Dudeldorf is a very charming place -- we adored it. The town belltower is close to the hotel and the bells ring for a while every morning starting at 7 am. We didn't mind (we were getting up at 7 anyway), but it is good to be aware of this. There was some jet noise from the somewhat nearby air base, but it was not that bad (we enjoy plane spotting, so we did not mind at all). The hair dryers were low-powered.
the village in which it is located is charming!
Nice and friendly hotel-staff. The rooms are large, comfortable and romantic decorated. Restaurant is good. Hotel is situated in a nice old village-centre in a quiet environment. Surely an hotel to go to for a week(end) of rest and relaxation A little bit annoying is the fact that the hotel has no lift. Therefore you (with luggage) have to cross a corridor and climb 3 stairs before you reach the 3rd floor.
Very friendly owners Beautiful location Very peaceful I liked everything about it!
the warm welcome and efficient staff the make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.... this being our second trip we had another excellent two day stay lovely food and super surroundings. no
Good location in the village Owner has messed up booking and did not have our room for 3 available so we had to split up the family between 2 smaller rooms. They were apologetic, but it was a pity that this happened. Also a late arrival at 8:45 pm made dinner timing difficult and we waited some time for service. Breakfast was better.
Freindly host. Good price. Checkin an late night entry.
There were several restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance in the picturesque village of Manderscheid.
Veryu friendly staff, and excewllent service..Food good, and altogether an excellent stay. Nothing!
Quite little village no nightclubs or main street Nothing really
The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also very nice, especially the bread rolls!!! Would highly recommend.
The welcome was very warm and friendly. We could ask every question we wanted. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has a big parking and breakfast was very good. No
