The location and the staff was helpful. It was a pleasant surprise to find such an establishment in el chalten Wifi was unstable
Maria Belen who works the front desk was very helpful and friendly. My sister and I visited several hotels in South America over a period of three weeks and thought Maria provided the best advice and was the most welcoming out of all of the hotel staff we met on our trip.
Staff and owner very helpful. Location very pretty. Breakfast is mediocre. Rooms are OK. Restaurant menu is limited and food is average. We enjoyed our stay.
the position in the middle of the nature. The room was clean and large.
The location of the Estancia was just perfect with the owners Alfredo and Patrizcia treating us like family - in a good way! The detailed information which Alfredo provided enabled us to explore the walks of the mountains independently of a tour guide. The lounge provided an ideal place to relax after a hard days walking! Nothing it is excellently as described.
Estancia La Quinta is in a beautiful setting. The owners are passionate about their property and El Chalten, and this showed throughout our stay. A very welcoming place, with trekking and adventure right outside the door. The location, a couple of kilometers outside of town, might be a negative for some, but we never found it to be an inconvenience. The owner will provide a lift into town if you want it.
I enjoyed the comfortness of the hotel. The meal served was good as well. You can also feed cows it owns. Nice view of mountains and lake. Transfers to and from the town which is 4km away is available. The staff will consult with your plan of the day.
The owner was very friendly anf helpful. He also speaks very good English. The Hotel was situated 2km outside El Chalten. All the trails start from El Chalten.
The staff were very welcoming and gave us a great stay. The location being out of town wasn't ideal but they did offer a free transfer service twice daily which was good.
Very warm welcome from the owners of this estancia. The hotel is nice, but a little bit far from El Chalten (1 km). But for us there was not a problem as we had a car The price is quite high
The friendliness of the staff - Alfredo told us all about the history of the ranch and we also had a great time talking to the younger members of the staff while we feed the baby cows.
Amazing location with absolutely gorgeous views and wonderful hikes, fantastic food, the people who ran the activities were wonderful, very helpful and very knowledgeable, the horses were beautiful, well trained and well taken care of. It is overpriced for what you get. You can't choose your activities. You are extremely limited in your activities on the day you arrive or leave. It is difficult to get to and they only offer transfers 2 days a week. the spa in the bathtub didn't work
