New hotel. room very comfortable and relaxing - nicely designed. Be careful that the seaside view rooms are all "premiere suites" and cost extra. The cheaper standard rooms face the highway, not a spectacular view and noisy if you open the balcony door for fresh air. If you keep it closed however, you won't be bothered by the noise because the glass is double-glazed which is good.
we had a beautiful ocean view from our room. The staff was great and the rates reaonable the shower leaked
Kindness of the hotel personnel and clenliness of the rooms, plus that it was a brand new construction Surroundings are not yet well accomodated and too close to the highway...
The view of the Mediterranean was spectacular, the staff were friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the spa was well equipped with a peaceful ambience.
Very clean, comfortable, and good design. good facilities, nice minibar. could have needed a pool.
Staff and manager were very helpful and friendly and kind. Location was excellent easy to reach and close to both beach and Byblos Town.
Helpful staff, comfortable. It took over an hour to get a sandwich for a late lunch! Ridiculous.
we will definitely come back, staff very helpful and accomodating, well managed, doing their best
Hotel staff weeding noises at byblos palace just next to our hotel during week ends(even sunday nights) ,but we have been upgraded to a suite and hasd the chance to be on the opoosite side ! so not that much noisy
Location of hotel is excellent with bright clean decor, right near to several beach clubs with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. It is also only a 5 minute stroll into the lovely town of Byblos It does not having a swimming pool, but there are beach clubs with pools within walking distance although you have to pay entrance fee for them
The staff is courteous, helpful, breakfast is decent; rooms rather small, but they have balcones
Nice pool, large room & quite nice view. We were very disappointed in service at the hotel. When we first arrived, we invited some family friends to have drinks with us at the bar. It took the staff more than half an hour to serve us two beers and a couple of glasses of wine. There were no other guests at the bar at the time??? We were not told that breakfast was included in our accommodation price and when we did discover that was the case; the staffs' comment was that we should have asked them where we wanted to have our breakfast daily???? When we finally did have breakfast on the last morning it took them almost an hour to organize it for us. Our bathroom was not clean. I don't think the floor was ever cleaned before or during our stay. Very disappointing stay.
i did not like it
A couple of staff (E.g the guy looking after room service and the night receptionsit)were pleasant but had no idea of quality service. The Owner/Manager asked for feedback very openly and pleasantly but when given did nothing about it. Constant running water in the toilet which I advised them that besides the incovenience it was a waste of water; still nothing was done! Every day had to ring about a housekeeping matter like no towels, toilet paper, blown light bulbs etc. The bathroom was not cleaned in all the time of our stay which was ended up being 12 days. Laundry was never returned on time and had to be followed up by me on each occassion. No idea of simple requests such as Tea or Toast which were not supplied more often than was at breakfast. The place was new but housekeeping was appalling. Could not get in the lift one day as it reeked of Urine!
The staff and the cleanliness of the property. The location was pretty good as well. It still needs polishing as it feels very slightly rough around the edges and basic.
The walk down (once we found it) the roman road was lovely to the souk, citidel, ancient city ruins and the port. thought the breakfast room and food was a bit ordinary...
Location and cleanness Breakfast and some of the service.
King George Hotel is pretty cozy place located in mountain district of Jbeil. It's located a little high, not on main street which makes it very quiet place. It's important for Lebanon )) Because traffic is very noisy there (drivers use horns too much by any reason). I really enjoyed time spent there, especially with sea and city view. it was rather comfortable room considering its cost. So if you are looking for some hotel to get rest and sleep, to take shower and breakfast for really good price, The King George hotel would be great choice for Jbeil city. I appreciate the пщщв treatment of staff at this hotel. It was really careful and helpful.
